Tyreese Brentwood crashed through the bank walls and landed back outside, in the middle of the road, stopping all traffic in the area. He laid on the ground with his arms spread out and a smirk on his face, his body still completely unharmed. “Seems someone thinks they can take on Asogend’s #1 hero.” He said to himself, “I can’t tell what’s more shocking, someone believing that, or that criminal knocking me out here in the first place.” He stood up, waiting for the criminal to make their way outside, which didn’t take long. Charging out of the bank, was a large muscular man. He only wore dark blue, worn out jeans, held up by two belts and black suspenders. Wielding a steel pickaxe in both hands, the petty criminal, Henry Tale, rushed at Tyreese, leaving large footprints in the concrete ground with each step. He attempted to swing his pickaxe downward into his skull, but Tyreese simply batted the pickaxes away with a swing from his arm, redirecting his attacker away from him. Henry slowed himself down by burying his pickaxes into ground, in order to turn himself back around for another attack.
Around the same time, another person jumped out from the bank, stretching a wire from her sleeve attached to something inside. A tan woman with short hair, wearing a buttoned up, form fitting, trench coat, tight pants, and small fedora, all of it in white. The more infamous criminal, Silver Natal, pulled on the wire to drag Clara Brentwood out of the bank and into the air while Clara’s arm was wrapped with a grappling hook. Clara, still unfazed, yanked back on the wire while she was still in the air, dragging Silver Natal closer. While being yanked into the air, she activated a grappling hook connected to her white, heel boots, firing it off into the windshield of a car of someone who has yet to decide driving away. Silver Natal used that grappling hook to avoid Clara right as she tried to grab her, by pulling her to end up beside and flying past Clara. Allowing more wire to be released from her sleeve, Silver Natal’s wire got on Clara’s torso after being pulled past her. The grappling hook from Silver Natal’s boot was then cut off, allowing her to circle Clara, wrapping her in the grappling hook, all before either of them fell to the ground.
Henry was not doing as well, he attacked again with his pickaxes. But as he swung down at Tyreese, the weapons bounced back from his near naked body, not even touching his skin. Tyreese smiled as he kicked him in the waist, where his belt buckles were, pushing him far back and nearly into Silver natal.
“Ready to get our asses kicked?” Silver Natal asked gleefully.
“Not what I had in mind.” Henry responded, “What are you even doing here? I have this under control.”
“Our friend told me otherwise. Also, pay closer attention and you’d see you’ll never hurt Tyreese with those.” Speaking to Henry, Silver Natal jumped backwards to avoid Tyreese, who interrupted their conversation by running up to push her. Right after she avoided the attack, Silver Natal then felt herself become instantly frozen in place. Kate Sarem walked out of the bank with her hand pointed at Silver Natal, creating a nearly invisible line between the two. This put Tyreese’s back facing towards Henry, who used his pickaxes to attack him from behind. But once again, Henry’s weapons bounced back after closing in just an inch from Tyreese’s body, grabbing his attention. Tyreese stomped the ground just in front of Henry, flipping up the ground beneath Henry and causing him to be hurled backwards until cratering the sidewalk, nearly hitting Flya Lavender who was recording the battle.
“Come on now, were you really expecting anything different from this?” Tyreese asked. He pulled out from his pocket a small computer chip, he’s able to hold between his two fingers despite his fingers not actually making contact with the computer chip. “This was what you and that girl were looking for right? Too bad, I don’t think inmates get to use laptops in prison.”
Clara broke out of the wires that she was tied up in, overpowering it as her body harder into a stone-like texture. “This was much easier than I expected. I didn’t even have to do anything.” She said.
“Everyone inside the bank is safe by the way.” Kate mentioned, “It better not take long for the authorities to get here, It already takes a lot just to keep this up as is.”
Henry sat up from off the ground and went to grab his pickaxes, just to see Tyreese standing over him. “Let’s keep a level head here. You don’t want to look like more of an idiot, you’ll stay on the ground.” Tyreese demanded with a grin.
Henry lowered his head in defeat. “Great, step one of the plan and we already screwed up.” But as his head was lowered, he noticed Tyreese’s feet were actually not touching the ground, with him levitating just an inch above the concrete. “Wait just a minute.” He thought to himself, “He doesn’t touch the ground, my weapons can’t touch him, and the only time he attacked me above the belt was to deflect my pickaxes.” Henry used his hand to grab Tyreese by the leg. To Tyreese’s surprise, Henry got up, dragged him by the ankle and threw him at Kate Sarem.
“Ok, maybe not a total idiot!” Tyreese exclaimed, while flying through the air. Kate diverted her attention to Tyreese, aiming her hand at him. Starting from her hand, air seemed to suck into itself creating a semi transparent line that, once it touched Tyreese, rapidly slowed him down before freezing him entirely. This however, freed Silver Natal, giving her the chance to use one of her only two grappling hooks to zip past Tyreese and up a building, specifically the cafe.
Clara jumped into action, sprinting at Tyreese’s frozen body. “Kate, unfreeze him.” She said calmly. Kate stopped the use of her power on Tyreese, allowing him to fall straight down onto the ground. “Tyreese, I’m going to jump on you.” She told him. Without making a response, Tyreese held out his hands as a launching pad for Clara. She jumped onto his hands and launched herself at the building Silver Natal landed on.
“That’s gonna settle that. Now to put the big guy back in his place.” Tyreese said, just then realizing Henry was using his pickaxes to climb up the side of the cafe.
“I got him.” Kate called out. She vacuumed the air into another transparent line to connect to Henry, but while Henry was slowed down, he wasn’t stopped from getting the rest of the way up the building and out of sight, breaking the line. “What? That works on all movement. He shouldn’t be able to power through that.”
“Don’t worry about it Kate, he was clearly better than what any of us thought.” Tyreese responded, “Just back me up when we get up there. If Clara needs help, I’ll do all the real fighting.” He began walking his way over to the cafe, not noticing how clearly upset Kate was from his response.
Henry, on the other hand, was already on the roof of the cafe. He could see SIlver Natal running away from Clara, dodging and dancing around swipes from her now claw-like hands. Henry rammed himself in between the two women, using his left hand to grab Clara by the side of her face, and using his right hand to shove Silver Natal off of the rooftop. Clara clawed at Henry’s arm and body, but it didn’t leave a single scratch. Henry, in return, drove his right hand clear through Clara’s chest. Her blood splattered, ribcage shattered, a portion of her spine came flying out her back, and yet, Henry could tell something wasn’t right. Despite having his hand through the center of her chest, he could feel Clara’s lungs still intact, and only moved to the side. Same with Clara’s heart, he felt it beating above where his hand was. “With full control over my own body like this, killing me will never be that easy.” She said, not even flinching at the pain Henry’s attack should’ve caused. Henry tried pulling his arm out of her chest, but he was stuck, Clara’s rib cage had wrapped around his hand. Clara’s arms then went limp, as it looked like something was traveling up her arms then down her body to her legs. Sprouting from legs were the bones from her arms, anchoring down into the rooftop, and hardening into a metallic texture, keeping Henry stuck.
Tyreese & Kate soon climbed their way onto the rooftop. “Nice one Clara, guess you didn’t need help after all.” He said.
“Wait, but that’s just the muscle. Where’s Silver Natal?” Kate asked.
“She escaped thanks to him.” Clara answered. “Finding her now will be difficult, she could be anywhere. we’ll have to make due with the criminal we captured.”
Tyreese laughed. “Can’t wait then. It shouldn’t be too hard for us to catch one measly thief. We might as well deal with him first.”
Travis Hill and Cadent Prancer were watching the television behind the front counter, to view the fight being reported live by Flya Lavender. “Looks like it’s over.” Travis pointed out, “Good thing there’s stairs that go to the roof, I’ll go get them so they can get rid of that serial killer in the storage room.” He headed up the stairs on the left side of the cafe.
Cadent went back to the back hallway the moment Travis was out of view. He opened the backdoor of the cafe and met Silver Natal leaning on the stair railing leading to the back door “So, were you able to get the chip back?” Cadent questioned.
Silver Natal flipped the computer chip into Cadent’s hand like a coin. “I just needed to get close to Tyreese once. I’m just glad I said what I did to Henry. Mercari would not have been very happy with our failure.”
“Of course not, this is a plan to cripple The Flamezation before their leader returns. I think most people would not want to mess this up. Speaking of which, you need to make sure to break free Henry.”
“Me? Perhaps you don’t understand his situation. He was caught by The Dynamic Trio, and they would most likely want to capture me since they know I escaped. I am much too weak to do that myself.”
“You have no choice, I can’t leave just yet without it looking suspicious. And if Mercari does it himself, they’ll finally realize he isn’t working alone, unless he finds a way to be discreet about it.”
“In all fairness, it’d start out discreet, but there’s no way our boss is someone who can pull off something like that. Alright, I’ll get it done.” Silver Natal walked away.
