Takao-kun led our way to a building the size of a big house. "This is the guild hall." He said going up the marble-looking steps toward the double door.
"Have you been here before?" I asked Takao-kun hoping he would know how to sign up.
He opens the door on the right before looking back with a smile. "I haven't signed up before but some of my friends have, so I know the tests they give you to determine your rank," he said as if reading my mind. we followed him inside as he was explaining. "After getting your guild card, you can earn your magic, Through a test."
"What sort of test?" Takajou-kun asked not missing a beat.
"A test of endurance and strength, you'll be transported into a room with a never-ending horde of deadly enemies, ooh scary." He explained in hopes to scare us. "Don't worry, you won't die. Its a simulation going on in your head, the longer you can 'survive' in there the better class you get, although there are exceptions, when you hit the one-hour mark, the system gives you a class that best represents you, for example: if you spent your entire life training with the sword, you would hate to get a class other than a swordsman, but after the hour mark the system can tell swordsman would be the best class for you and thus you get that class. Also, by that point, you get a skill along with your class." By the time Takao-kun was done we arrived at the counter at the far end of the guild hall.
"Hello, how can I help you today?" The blonde-haired girl in front of us asked.
Both I and Takajou-kun agreed to let Takao-kun do the talking. "I would like to get three guild cards and class evaluations." He replied.
"Yes right away," The nice girl says walking to the door behind her "Just wait on those seats right there." She said walking through and pointing to some black chairs mounted to the side wall.
We sat down in a moment of silence before the girl came back. "Sorry for the wait, we're ready for you."
Takao-kun got up and walked towards the counter. "C'mon." He said gesturing for us to follow him.
We entered a room beside the counter, and the test began.
