William has been feeling a bit too stressed. It does not make sense to him as the semester is only just beginning. It was only two weeks into January and two weeks into his second year at university, yet, professors have already handed out assignments to each class he's had over the past week. William is swamped with five essays, five more than he's willing to work on at the moment. The 21-year-old simply wants to lie on his couch and play video games all night. He hates himself for it too because he knows better than to slack in his studies.
Still, William does not have any motivation to work, or the strength to get up from his bed and do so for that matter. He's tired, suffering a slight headache and for some reason, hungry as well.
Did I not just have instant ramen for dinner? He asks himself and then chuckles a second after. Two dollars worth of instant ramen noodles is not what he would call a hearty dinner but he's had a craving for it since last Christmas.
Although he feels genuinely tired, what Willam thinks he really needs is to go out, find a quiet place, relax for a bit and head back to his 224 square feet apartment. He realizes this when he keeps tossing and turning on his bed, and after checking the time to see that it's only 10 pm, he can't resist his mind anymore.
The brown-haired man gets up from bed, and pulls on a pair of gray sweatpants, a comfortable white T-shirt, a black loose jacket, and his favorite pair of sneakers that he wears every single day.
The plan's set straight in his mind. He'll go to the cafe down the road from the school library since it is the most relaxing place on the entire campus. He'll order a coffee, nurse it for a while with a blueberry scone and then come back home. It is a good plan. It was a good plan —
Until William finds himself walking out of campus and into a gay bar just outside of the uni campus.
He is a little bit gay and a whole lot bisexual but that surely isn't reason enough for him to visit the bar when his main goal for leaving his apartment had been to relax. Or maybe what he really needs is a night of rough wild sex with a stranger to release all the stress and get himself ready for the semester.
This isn't a bad idea, William thinks. He shrugs as he orders himself a drink. It would be quite nice to find a guy to fuck all the stress out of me, he thinks. Now all he has to do is find the right person in the sea of gay men trooping in and out of the bar.
His eyes scan the room full of potential subjects but none quite catch his eye or meet his standards. It's just a one-night stand. Why the hell did he have standards set so high?
Still, William cannot get the ideal stranger out of his mind. He had to be tall, ripped, and insanely gorgeous. But he also had to have kind eyes, a soft-spoken voice, and a smile that would leave anyone breathless. William has no idea why he always makes up this image of the perfect stranger when he wants to fuck someone. Maybe it's his brain's way of telling him to seek an actual relationship. Or maybe he just thinks too highly of himself.
It doesn't matter though, because William never picks a guy who resembles this image.
No human being is that perfect.
