In the forest of Neos' Delight, a group of fifteen horses, lined with red light, galloped through with haste. Their riders, covered in armor with red and purple glowing streaks on the rims and a black visor covering their faces, gripped their reins as they made their journey for Cy Mountain. On the hilt of their swords were implanted a spiked human skull with a partial mask in the form of a snake's face covering the mouth. This was the symbol of Mordekai, Sorcerer of the Dark. Illuminated leaves, in the color of a pinkish yellow, fell to the ground as the horsemen rode through.
Suddenly, blue laser bolts shot out of nowhere, knocking four of the horsemen off their horses lifeless, causing the others to stop their horses while unsheathing their swords, glowing a mixture of black and red. Knights in armor, rimmed with light blue, charged out yelling, wielding dark blue swords with silver glowing on the edges. The two forces clashed fiercely, knights and horseman falling. Crossbow men stepped out, loading blue bolts, before firing a volley at the remaining horsemen. Victory had fallen upon the knights. The lead knight, wearing an armor of silver, blue and gold, stepped over to the lead fallen horseman, as the other knights knelt before him. He clutched a different sword, a broadword with a golden circle and a phoenix etched in and the blade long and black. This is the legendary sword of Amor.
The fallen horsemen gave a series of small gasps as glowing red liquid seeped from his injuries. "You accomplished nothing, Atreus," he coughed, "Lord Mordekai will come and he will reign supreme over all of Dagon." The lead knight removed his helmet, his hair, long and black, flowing in the wind. This is King Atreus of Dagon. He stared down at the horsemen with his piercing blue eyes. "We will be waiting," he responded before plunging his sword into the horsemen, ending his life. He raised his head to the sky, his eyes closed, and breathed in deeply. One of the knights rose to his feet and approached the king. "Your Highness," he spoke, "This is but the third patrol we've had to take in only a week."
Atreus opened his eyes. "Mordekai is preparing for an invasion," he spoke softly, "we must make preparations." He then put his helmet back on, his hair magically sliding back inside. He turned to the knights. "Burn these bodies then ready your horses," he commanded. The knights bowed once more before getting to work. They took out small vials of illuminated violet liquid and poured small drops onto the bodies, setting them ablaze. As he watched the bodies disintegrate, Atreus felt sorrow for the fallen yet anger for Mordekai himself. He knew that the Sorcerer must be stopped or chaos will be upon Dagon forevermore. As the knights climbed onto their horses, Atreus gave one more glance around the area before riding off.
Far away, a large mountain, glowing red and black, spewed red smoke to the sky as thunder rumbled. A group of neon dragons flew through the rocky canyons, roaring with hunger. Cy Mountain, a desolate place and home for the Sorcerer of The Dark. Only fools would dare journey to such mountain and breathe in the poisonous fumes and die, only to be resurrected as a corrupt cybernetic skeleton. Such is a place full of wicked and evil. A raven, eyes blood red, flew into the window of the castle built into the mountain. The throneroom was heavily illuminated in red, a favorite color of Mordekai's, and upon the metal throne sat the dreaded Sorcerer himself.
Cloaked in a black robe, wearing a silver/purple face mask covering his mouth and part of his nose with two canisters on each side, and his eyes glowing red, Mordekai sat and stared ahead as tubes attached to him fed him dark energy as nourishment. The crow cawed as it landed right beside his arm. It pecked his silver/black gauntlet to gain his attention. Mordekai stroked it once. "What news have you for me, my faithful messenger?" he asked.
The crow turned its head away and its eyes began to flicker before projecting an illuminating vision of a large bright city. Mordekai slowly rose to his feet, the tubes detaching from him, and walked towards the projection. He gingerly reached out as if he could simply touch the wall surrounding the city and tear it down with only his finger. If only it were that simple. "Dagon..." he exhaled with delight, "You will soon be mine." The projection then swapped to the Forest of Neos' Delight, showing images of the ambush and Atreus standing among the fallen.
"So..." Mordekai spoke, "the king himself is taking the task to put down my troops instead of sending out his own to do the deed. How typical." He turned away and walked towards the balcony. How he loathed Atreus with a passion. His thoughts grew to focus on destroying Atreus then taking over the kingdom of Dagon for his own purpose. "Soon..." he spoke, "we shall meet on the battlefield once more, Atreus."
Welcome to Dagon, a cyberpunk city powered by magic-fused technology. Here, humans, elves, and other creatures, both cybernetic and organic, coincide peacefully. But soon Dagon comes under threat by the villainous Sorcerer of the Dark, Mordekai, and his forces of darkness. Can Dagon be saved... or will darkness reign supreme?
