For six months now, since she came to this land with her husband due to the instability of her previous herd, she has felt something strange inside her, something that she can't figure out what it is or why it is.
It started since then, one night when she decided to sit on the outside deck and watch that beautiful and extensive forest that lives behind her new home.
It was something she had never felt before, something that was deep inside her, she couldn't look away, something there attracted her, maybe a person, what else could it be? She didn't feel fear, only longing...
From time to time, during the day or night that feeling returned and she even felt observed, but what surprised her the most, was not to feel fear of it, anyone would have it, it would be normal.
She had talked about it with her husband and he couldn't understand it either.
- Do you think it's a good thing? -she asked her husband Armando.
- If you feel so much peace, I think so?
-Maybe it's not my feelings.
- What do you mean?
- Maybe it's hers.
- If so, then we've never been in as much danger as we are now.

- Princess Jasmine.
- Alpha?
- Since when do you call me that and not my name?
- It just seems like the right thing to do, you know, because of the rumors between us.
Despite being disconnected from the world around them for a few months now, the friendship between them is still present, some believe there is something more there, but they both know better than that.
Princess Jasmine had never found someone she could fully trust and who could understand her, at first her heart was feeling something for him, but when she saw first hand the true union between the wolves, she understood that he would never look at her as a woman.
- Anyway, I prefer that you call me by my name, by the way, have you seen your brother?
- My brother? -he asked with fear in his voice.
- He came to see me this morning, I thought he was going to look for you.
- I guess he told you what I'm doing here.
- Why did you run away from home? yes, that's right.
Jasmine just looked away not wanting to talk about it anymore, she smiled at him and left with her new friends.
- Alpha -Steven runs to him- I remind you that you have a meeting with the alpha from Australia who is visiting us.
- Tell him that tomorrow I'll attend him, I have to go somewhere.
He barely manages to take a step away when Steven stops him in front of his alpha.
- What are you doing? -he asks with some grace to his second in command.
- He's not what he used to be.
- What are you talking about? -He didn't like where he was taking this conversation.
- The pack has been talking. He disappears for no reason and he's put some responsibilities aside like...
- Be very careful what you imply, I've given everything for this pack.
- I know that, but...
- Silence -that tone is one that he never used, he only used it to intimidate his enemies, Steven wasn't, but nobody has any reason to doubt his alpha capacity, nobody -if you have something to say, just say it.
- The pack is worried, we want the best for you and?
- I'm better than ever, what I do outside of you is my problem, no one has the right to influence it, do you hear me?
- Yes alpha.
After a slight nod of his head in respect to his alpha, their paths went their separate ways. But something was going on and whether it was bad or good, which was what he suspected the most, he was going to find out.
