“So, you are back I see,” That same strange voice rung in my head, “You really did not last long.”
“What do you mean by that,” I called out into the empty void.
“It was really just a test,” Another voice replied.
“Test,” I shook my head trying to figure out the situation I was placed in, “My parents becoming wood like figures and chasing me around, how is that a test?” I began to pace, glancing in all four directions, trying to figure out my location.
“Yes, a test, one that showed you are not yet ready for our next steps,” the newer voice spoke again, now appearing as a sphere-like orb. A fluorescent light was illuminated from inside the orb, like the orb itself was translucent.
“What steps,” I protested.
“The steps for the future we have planned for you my dear now, say no more, we will be sending you back two years. It is up to you to decide what you do in that time to prepare yourself for moving further.”
A sudden shock was sent throughout my entire body, an excruciating pain that first affected my toes and then made its way to my head. As it climbed my body, I stood frozen and unable to move. Once the current reached my head, I obtained a throbbing headache, causing me to faint. As I came to, I was laying in my bed, my muscles sore from the soccer game I had last night. My alarm clock began buzzing, its irritating dinging became more annoying as it went on. I eventually forced myself to sit up, throwing my hand onto the silent button on my old rainbow alarm clock.
A girl with some minor problems, sent back 2 years to fix whatever they were. Can she accomplish her goal?
I'm going to be honest, not even I know how to describe this book, as I have no idea where it's going. If you read it and want to write a description for it, go right on ahead.
