Mark was laying on his back huffing and puffing as Tom stood over him with a look of disappointment. Tom looked at his wristband as he gave Mark a hand and pulled him onto his feet. Mark was sweating like crazy as Tom whistled over to Luna who was sleeping on the couch,

“You guys are finally done?” Luna said in a drowsy voice. “I fell asleep like 2 hours into him getting beat up.”

“Huff..Huff..I wasn’t getting beat up I was letting them hit me over and over again for a couple hours…” He said while still catching his breath.

“Well regardless of that I hope you’re ready cause we’re gonna go fight a flaming sewer monster Meteor Boy!” Tom said with a smirk on his face while crossing his arms. “LUNA COME ON THE SUNS SETTING SO LET'S HEAD OUT!”

“Five for minutes..” Luna slumped back over in her sleep as Tom walked over to her and grabbed her by the collar and put her on his back. “Ugh..”

“Luna should be up by the time we get there so stop dying and let's go Meteor Boy.” Tom said as he opened the door to the warehouse as Mark followed slowly behind him.

Mark, and Tom with Luna on his back stood within an alleyway as they saw traffic cones around the and white trucks parked around the area. Tom told Mark to wait as he set Luna down and flicked her lightly on the head to wake her up.

“Alright it seems since someone.” Tom said as he looked at Mark, “Busted up the sewer system walls they called some people to come fix it. So we’re going to have to either sneak past them or disarm them. Which one do you two want to go with?” Tom said while waiting for Mark and Luna to decide.

“Sneak past them we get in and get out. We move faster than the naked eye anyway.” Luna said while rubbing her eyes.

“I guess we could sneak past them but in the spy movies the good guy always disarms the bad guys! ” Mark said with a smile as Luna and Tom stared at him with blank faces.

“You know what, yeah let's do that. You go down first and disarm them and we’ll follow right after.” Tom said sarcastically.

“Alright bet! Let's go ahead and do it!” Mark said with a triumphant look while clenching his fist.

Tom and Luna sighed and facepalmed as Mark didn’t catch the sarcastic remark. Mark was about to go outside the alleyway as a lightbulb went off in his head. Mark dug into his pocket and pulled out two bandannas one green and one red. Tom and Luna looked at each other then back to Mark as he smiled.

“You each can choose which one you want! I have a bunch in my closet! I like the yellow one personally!” He said while pointing to the yellow bandanna around his face. “You know to keep your identity safe!”

“Fine, give me it.” She grabbed the green bandanna and wrapped it around her face. “This is so stupid.”

“Stylish.” Tom grabbed the red bandanna and wrapped it around his face as well. “I do always appreciate earthly fashion. Now Meteor Boy go ahead and “disarm” them.”

“Sure!” Mark flashed into the distance and jumped down into the sewer at incredible speeds.

“He's such an idiot.” Luna said to herself.

“I know I feel bad that I’m getting kinda attached to him. It’ll be somewhat hard when we throw him under the bus later.” Tom smirked. 

“I won't bat an eye when we do throw him under the bus if he keeps sending us on ridiculous fetch quests like these.” She said while folding her arms.

Mark jumped back up out the sewer and gave a thumbs up as Tom and Luna went over to him. Tom let Luna go first as she shivered in disgust and slowly went into the sewers. Mark landed onto the side of the sewer with Tom and Luna as he pointed which way they needed to go.

“It smells grody in here and this bandanna isn’t helping one bit.” Luna said while covering her nose.

“Don’t worry Luna, we're almost there just a bit more.”

“Wait, I forgot to ask what did you do to the workers that were done here.” Tom questioned.

“Oh yeah about that.” Mark said as he bumped into a hard object. 

Tom and Luna looked onward and saw 3 men that Mark had seemingly froze completely solid. Mark rubbed his hand awkwardly as he blushed and explained that this was the only thing he could do.

“You know that level of temperature could make them freeze to death right?” Tom said.

“Wait what?” Mark questioned as he flailed his arms around nervously. “WAIT WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THAT BEFORE I FROZE THEM!”

“Because you didn’t tell me what you were going to do to you forehead.” Tom said flicking Mark on the forehead. “Nevertheless they should be fine if we finish this fast and find whatever we’re looking for. How strong was this flaming monster anyway?”

“Uh, I only fought it for a bit but its energy was changing each second I couldn’t really tell, but the highest it was kinda around Luna's strength when I fought her.” Mark chuckled nervously.

“Hm, if push comes to shove Luna can handle her, right Luna?” Tom asked.

“Hm? Yeah, yeah.” Luna said while preparing herself to touch the gem on her necklace. “Just tell me when.”

“Alright so we’re all set, let's keep going.” Tom said as Mark continued to lead the way.

The three kept getting closer to where Mark fought the monster originally as Mark's eyes lit up with a green glow. Mark turned to Luna and Tom and told them that they were close but that something was different than before. Mark stopped as he saw the hole that he made when he slammed into the wall.

“Come on but be careful and Luna be ready.” Mark said as he made a signal with his hand as the three of them jumped in.

Mark looked around as his eyes were still bright green as Tom and Luna put their guard up. Mark walked a bit forward a little bit as his eyes turned back to black as he smacked his head.

“Nothing.” He said turning back to Tom and Luna.

So you didn’t come by yourself this time.

Mark Luna and Tom braced themselves as they slowly inched forward as the voice they heard sounded somewhat feminine. Tom turned to Luna and told her to get ready as Mark put his fists up as he saw someone walk from out the shadows.

“What.” Mark said.

“The.” Luna said as she raised her eyebrow.

“Heck.” Tom said as he was dumbfounded.

A young brown skinned girl who was around 13 years old walked out in a pair of brown rags. The girl had two puffy balls for hair as she looked at Mark and the others. Mark's eyes flashed between green and black as he was picking up a certain energy signature. The no named girl jumped in front of Mark and looked at him as Mark jumped back.

“Who the heck are you!?!” Mark said as he saw the  girl walk over to Luna.

“You look kinda like me.” The no named girl said as she stared at Luna.

“I mean yeah we both are girls, and he has a point, who are you?” Luna said as the girl looked at her with confusion.

“Hm.” Tom said as the girl walked over to him as she stared at Tom for longer than she did the other two. “Are you going to tell us who you are?”

The girl stared at Tom's eyes like she was looking into his very soul. Tom began to sweat a little bit as he looked around the area a bit then back to the girl. The girl chuckled a bit and then slapped Tom on the back repeatedly as he felt as if something broke.

“I like you.” The girl said directly to Tom while laughing at the top of her lungs.

Mark whispered to Tom while looking at the girl. “I think she digs you dude.”

“Will you shut up?” Tom said with an angry tone then cleared his throat. “Who are you, no one else should be down here besides us and the workers outside.”

“Workers?” The girl said with a blank expression as if no thoughts were going through her head. “Oh those noises I heard outside are those the “workers” you’re talking about? They invaded my space I live here.”

“You live down here?” Luna questioned.

“Yeah they are called that and do you llive down here?” She said pointing at Tom and Luna.

“Hey, what about me?” Mark said, squeezing in between Tom and Luna.

“Do you want to be asked if you live in a sewer?” Luna asked.

“No, not really but she didn’t include me which is weird.”

“I know you don’t live down here. I fought you before.” She said while pointing at Mark.

“Wait, you fought me before? You can’t be!” Mark said while shaking in his boots.

The girl's face morphed into a flaming monster as Mark screamed holding onto Tom as he pushed him off. The girl's face reverted back to normal as she laughed while pointing at Mark. Tom rubbed his chin and said interesting to himself as the girl sat down.

“The names Lisa, who are yall?” She said while scratching herself with her foot like a rabid dog.

“I’m Orio-” Mark tapped him slightly as he sighed. “Tom, almost forgot about that. The girl next to me is my younger sister Luna, and that's Meteor Boy.” He said pointing to Mark.

“Hey I have a name, it's Mark it’s not Meteor Boy! That’s my superhero name!” Mark said while visibly upset.

“Superhero what’s that?” Lisa said while still scratching her head with her foot.

Tom snapped his fingers and brought Mark and Luna into a huddle. “So you’re telling me this girl  is who the raging fire monster you fought the other day?”

“I swear it was a giant monster made of fire! It didn’t look like a girl!” Mark said with a worried look on his face,

“Even more than that she seems like a wild animal I’m guessing she's been living down here her entire life.” Luna said.

“Plus we can all sense it she's able to use Galaxy Energy, no normal person could live in a sewer for their entire life.” Tom said while looking at his sister and Mark.

“Hey, what are you guys talking about?” Lisa said as she somehow joined into the huddle/

The three jumped back as Lisa laughed once more as she walked towards the three of them. “You guys aren’t from here huh! Can you take me to where you’re from! I’m easy to carry around and I can turn into a little fireball. I really wanna see what it's like!”  She said as she clenched her fists and turned into a tiny floating fireball

“Fire abilities huh? Neat.” Luna said nervously.

“And on a greater level than yours huh Meteor Boy?” Tom said with a smirk.

“Hey! I can do that too if I wanted! See!” Mark clenched his teeth and fists as he let out a battle cry. “Huff..huff..Give it a second.”

“Stop before you hurt yourself you idiot.” Luna said as she elbowed Mark gently.

“She could be a useful asset.” Tom said under his breath as he rubbed his chin. “Hey Lisa was it?”

“That’s my name!” She said as she transformed back into a human as she ran up towards Tom. “So can I come with you guys! Pretty please!”

“She's like a little curious little wild animal, but her Galaxy Energy is even more than Luna or Meteor Boy’s I shouldn’t turn her down. Plus she's taking a sort of liking to me so I can use that to my advantage.” Tom thought to himself. “Sure thing Lis you can come with us. You can even be a part of our little team.”

“Lis? You didn’t say my name right!”

“It's a nickname I learned it from him over there.” He said pointing to Mark,

“Ohhh. Nickname what's that? Nevermind come on lets go lets go!”

Mark Luna Tom and now Lisa walked out from that section of the sewers as they stopped back at the workers as Luna and Tom analyzed them. Mark was still cautious of Lisa as he cleared his throat and started to ask her some questions.

“So, Lisa was it? Last night you kinda turned into a giant fire monster and attacked me. Why was that?” He said extremely fast like it was totally normal.

“Oh that. It happens when I feel scared or angry. I guess when I felt your energy come near me I got scared. You know it's not nice to come someone you don't belong!”

“Oh so you were the scared one huh..yeah sure..” Mark then thought to himself. “Why would my powers even react to hers? It's like when the robbers attacked my eyes light up and I felt a strange feeling. I guess my powers lead me to wherever they think I need to go.”

Tom glanced at the workers as he formed his gauntlets around his hands. “So Lisa, how'd you end up down here? Also if you’ve never left the sewers how’d you survive so long down here without eating or drinking?”

“Eating? Drinking? What’s that?” Lisa questioned.

“Hm well that explains it somewhat. I’m guessing how your power works: you convert whatever thermal energy available into energy so you don’t need to eat or drink to survive. Very interesting if I say so much. That doesn’t explain how you’ve lived down here your entire life. I'm guessing she didn’t get her powers like the rest of the earthlings when the meteorite exploded.” He said, turning to Mark.

“Seriously, so does that mean she's an alien like you guys? I knew that fire monster thing she turned into was unnatural.” He said with a disgusted look on his face.

“Hey I don’t make fun of you for your weird hair you freak!” Lisa said as she growled at Mark.

He growled back as he and Luna stared at each other with an angry expressions. “FREAK! COMING FROM YOU THATS A COMPLIMENT!”

“I DONT KNOW WHAT THAT IS BUT SHUT UP STUPID!” Lisa said sticking her tongue out at Mark.

“Can you two stop that. Hey Lisa can you use your fire powers and thaw these guys out. Don’t scorch them by the way.” Luna said looking over to Mark and Lisa.

Mark folded his arms as Lisa smiled with all of her teeth showing as her cheeks puffed up. Tom and Luna quickly got out the way as Lisa shot a blast of fire out her mouth which slowly melted the ice around the workers. The workers fell to the ground knocked completely out as Tom turned to the three.

“Okay lets jet we resolved the issue here. Hey Meteor Boy try to get along with our teammate okay.”

“TEAMMATE! SHE TRIED TO KILL ME LITERALLY THE OTHER DAY!” Mark said as he yelled at the top of his lungs.

“It was only because you scared me dummy!” Lisa said as she pushed Mark.

“Hey don’t push me!” He pushed Lisa back as they began to go back and forth.

Mark and Lisa tussled as Lisa took a deep breath.

STOP IT RIGHT NOW!

Mark and Lisa quickly stopped and held each other in fear as Luna began to lecture them as Tom laughed to himself. Luna told the two to shake hands as they reluctantly did as Tom put his hands on his hips and started to explain the plan.

“Mark you’ll be looking after Lisa and gonna help her learn how to act more “normal” alright.” Tom said.

“YOU WANT ME TO GO WITH HIM/HER!” Lisa and Mark said in sync as they looked at each other.

“Why doesn’t she stay with you and Luna!” Mark said as he begged Tom.

“It’ll be hard to explain why shes living with us to the other people we live with so you gotta take care of it. Think of it like a hero training exercise.” Tom snickered.

“HARD TO EXPLAIN TO THEM! HOW AM I GONNA EXPLAIN THIS TO MY MOM AND DAD!” Mark yelled as Luna covered her ears.

“Didn’t you hear what she said and did she can turn into a little ball of fire, and since you also use fire you should be able to tolerant to the heat. Basically just carry her to your house and keep her in a little cup or something she doesnt need food or water. Its like a pet with less steps.”

“You’re doing this to mess with me aren’t you?” Mark said.

“Kinda yeah.” Tom chuckled.

“UGH. FINE.” Mark sighed as Lisa sighed and turned into a fireball as she plopped into Marks hands. “I will drown you if given the chance.”

Lisa stuck out her tongue even as a little fireball as Mark grumbled.
