"can someone please untie me?" I asked as Maria finally released me from the hug after Thomas untied me I sat up on the bed "so what's next?" I asked "where are we?" I asked again. "we are at what the government calls, the UfH, Unnatural Faction Headquarters. there are approximately 28 different headquarters across the country, our specific building deals with taking Unnaturals up to Canada" Maria explained "interesting" I said. "I'm so happy your here" my dad said hugging me. 

I took a deep breath "you know I can't stay right" I said as he continued to hug me "what?" he said releasing me from the hug "what do you mean?" he asked. "I can't stay" I said "why?" Maria asked "Because I have to kill David Sinclair" I replied "you can't kill him don't you think we've tried he stops us at every turn" Maria said "except there's one difference he can't control me anymore" I replied "and no matter what even if I don't me being here puts everyone at risk I was the most powerful weapon he had there he won't stop looking for me until he knows I'm dead" I continued. "you can't leave think of all the people you could help" Maria said trying to convince me "Ariana's right Maria" Thomas spoke.

"shut up Tom" Maria snapped "I'm only speaking the truth if he really does decide to try to find her he may just end up finding this place too" Thomas explained "SHUT UP THOMAS" Maria snapped at him again. "think of all the people you can help" Maria said pleading. "we already have everything prepared even a team you could lead" she continued "Maria, I'm going to skip the part where I ask why you have everything seemingly prepared when I've only just got here and just say I couldn't lead a team even if I wanted to" I said 

"that's not true your an amazing leader" she replied "that's not the point" I said slightly annoyed "can we just stop this!" I finally snapped "I can't do this right now" I said standing up and walking out of the room. I as I walked down a long corridor all i could hear were whispers from people around me "is that her" someone whispered "I can't believe she has the gall to walk around here like, does she have no shame" another said. the whispers only continued as I continued to walk.

eventually I found stairs, I decided to go up them until I finally got to the roof. I sat on the edge just thinking as the cold wind blew on my face. "Arianna" I heard from behind me "your not actually gonna have me lead some sort of weird team if I stay right?" I asked "only if you want to" my father said sitting down next to me. "you know I'm not the same kid I was 5 years ago right?" I asked turning to face him "I know" he said. 

"what do you think would've happened if none of this ever happened?" I asked as I watched the sun set "I don't know" he said "I can't say I haven't imagined the possibilities, what would have happened if your mother didn't get sick, and you weren't taken. what would have happened if you continued to grow up happy and eventually went to college along with Maria. I've imagined it countless times" he answered 

I stayed silent for a few minutes"I missed you dad" I said turning to look at him. "so did I" he replied not taking his eyes off me. "Dan" we heard from behind us "we have a mission" Maria said. "c'mon he said helping me up "what is it?" he asked as we walked over to her. "we got a report that there are around 30 Unnaturals at the docks apparently they were transported over seas and are hiding in shipping containers" she said "alright prepare team 3 and 5 and do it fast we should get there before the F.U.H does" my father told her "yes sir" she said and quickly ran off the roof.

"wait what's going on?" I asked "it looks like we're going to be transporting more Unnaturals" he replied. "do you want some help?" I asked "no, no, you stay here you said your self that you need time" he said "ok you go then I'm gonna stay up here a bit more" I said then he nodded and left. 

Daniels POV

I felt bad for leaving her after she just got here but I had no choice. I was the one in charge of this facility, which meant I had to make every decision and considering how many people would be coming here I had a lot to prepare in a short time.

"teams 3 and 5 are ready and waiting, and we're preparing beds and for them along with clothes" Maria said walking next to me. "and Arianna's room?" I asked "it's ready" she replied. "alright we'll be leaving in 20 minutes" I said "we?" she questioned "I'm coming with you" I answered"sir you can't do that you run this place and your a regular human, if something happens..." she said "nothing will happen" I interrupted "this will be quick and easy, in and out there are to many people to be reckless got it" I said "got it" she replied. 

we went down to the garage and there stood two teams equaling out to 20 people 22 if you counted Maria and I. "everyone ready" I said "Yes sir" everyone replied "let's go save some Unnaturals" I said.
