The trend is to become like your most admirable star and hence follow their every move. You imitate their style whether it's new or old and because of that their every gesture imprints in your mind and you feel more connected to that person. But the imprinting can be deleterious too and lead to uninvited consequences.

My forehead was covered with crevices and my heart began thumping vigorously. I grew deeply distressed and my stomach was filled with knots as gigantic as the Himalayas. The blood rushed down and my body experienced shivering. Simultaneously, I felt nauseous and rushed toward the bathroom. I vomited and checked for my inhibitors. The face that was displayed in the mirror was pale and lifeless. It was not my heat that triggered these symptoms, but that person's appearance unlocked the forbidden memory.

I also admired a certain someone and wanted to stay friends with them, but destiny had the upper hand. The reason for this sudden uneasiness is the person who made my thoughts suicidal. The face of that person was imprinted in my memory and there was no way I would not have recognized the face that almost convinced me to end my life.

I heard a sudden knock on the door, which in no time converted to thumping. 

"I know you are in there, Please open the door. Please I beg you. Just give me one chance to explain. I know it's you Joohyuk", a voice that was about to crack desperately begged me. 

I flinched and stood there dumbstruck with a racing heart. My cold body which barely stood on two feet became reluctant to move. 

If I ever saw this person, I swore I would at least ask him why he hated me that much.

But right now all I could do was hear his voice from outside while hiding inside. But then what about the promise that I made to myself? I was not the weak and timid me anymore and hence I turned towards the door and haltingly undid the lock.

A man with strong features emitting the I AM ALPHA aura stood there in a grey suit and sweat dripping from the forehead of his white creamy skin made him look like he ran in a marathon. 

His disheveled clothes especially half-laced black shoes proved that he really chased after me. I examined him all in one look and had no intention to speak first. 

I retarded my steps to maintain a safe distance from him.

"Thank god you are fine," his faint voice was like the voice you often use in front of a sleeping child and was not quite clear. 

What does that statement even mean? 

Is he worried that he would be in trouble if something happened to me again or Is he worried that as a trustee he would have to face the consequences if his school is at a disadvantage because of me? 

To be honest, I don't want to face this person at all right now. I just want to run away and hug Hyung so badly.

"Joohyuk, I searched for you everywhere, and look at how we crossed our paths in such a wonderful way." his words sounded like daggers piercing through my heart. 

His soft voice would surely soothe me if we were still young or more precisely if we were still just recognized as humans. I glanced at him to look at what kind of face he was making at such a remark. But the aftermath proved unsatisfying as I noticed his lips curled up in a smile and eyes wet with tears. He stood upright and slowly approached me without giving me a chance to analyze the situation. And soon he was holding my hand and was about to drag me somewhere.

I recovered my senses and realized the situation. I yanked his hand and was about to run away when I heard his weeping. 

"Why are you doing this to me? 

Why? 

You never showed up all these years and now all you have to do is run away from me again?" he sounded desperate and his voice contained a tinge of anger. 

"Haaah!" I sighed with my palm over my face and brushed my hair back.

"If only we'd never met,..." I paused as I blurted those words with a trembling voice and without looking back I ran away with a vibrating phone in my pocket.

"Alex! Where were you? Do you even realize what the time is? I'm sorry but you didn't pick up your phone so I told your secretary to check the building but you were nowhere to be found. So,...." The class rep was interrupted by a sudden voice from behind. 

"Alex! Thank god you are safe," I saw Hyung running over towards me. He embraced me as he approached and I don't know why but I started crying. Maybe his warmth was the thing that I craved the most at that time or maybe the encounter with the person I despised the most was the reason. Whatever it was I didn't care as now I had Hyung, which was enough for me.

"Why are you crying? 

Are you hurt anywhere? Tell me, did someone bully you? Or..." as soon as he was about to say more I pressed his lips with a kiss to calm him down. I held his face in my hands and told him that everything was fine and I just lost my way back since the place is so big. 

Hyung seemed not very convinced by my explanation but he kept quiet for the time being as we realized that the Class rep was still there.

 "Umm...I better get going now too, you see Alex I was only waiting for you as the rest of the people left but you didn't come so I was just worried." he rushed his words as if flabbergasted and immediately started packing his stuff. I blushed as I realized that I kissed Hyung in front of him but kept my cool at the same time. 

"Thank you for waiting for my Alex," Hyung displayed his gratitude with a bow and offered to drop him off on his way home. But the class rep refused as he told us he lived nearby but Hyung insisted so he had to succumb.

As we were leaving the school gate, I saw a car passing by and then suddenly the car stopped and the windowpane pulled down. Inside was the person that once used to be my only friend.

" Ah! it's Mr. Jooin. Such a pleasure to encounter you, sir. But what are you doing at this hour in school? Oh right! You came to see the preparations for the festival right," class rep kept talking with him and then introduced me and Hyung to him. "Alex, Mr.Taehyung, you must not be knowing but this is Mr. Jooin, our school's Trustee."

Rather than looking at me, he looked at Hyung and then shifted his gaze to me. 

"And I was wondering where you went all these years?,' he spoke rather disappointed and then again shifted his gaze towards Hyung and greeted him. Hyung also nodded and then turned towards me, "Do you guys know each other?" he asked in a completely clueless manner while being interrupted. 

"See you guys at school tomorrow, all the best," he bid farewell to us in a stoic voice as he left in a hurry. Meanwhile, our car also arrived, and I noticed that Hyung had an abrupt expression on his face as he was staring at Jooin's car. My heart beat faster than usual for no concrete reason.

"You sure are one famous omega, Alex. I mean don't get me wrong but I never knew that your Alpha was Mr. Taehyung and you even know Mr. Jooin. Haaah! how lucky you are," the class rep expressed his emotions as we entered the car making me contemplate about the word "lucky" which never fits in my story.
