It's difficult not to be able to sleep when you need to; your brain rots and your memory gets foggy (save for the things you despise); you lose your ability to form sentences; and everything becomes disjointed. Even if you attempt to sleep for a few hours during the day, you appear unable to do so since life is happening, there is things to do, the brightness of the sun is irritating, and you become dull.

You spend the entire day without energy, and then when it's time to go to bed, there's this sudden surge of energy, ideas, and thoughts that you didn't experience during the day, even your headache is gone, and what you want the most, to sleep, seems like a far-fetched concept.

So, Morpheus, why have you abandoned me?
