(Original character in medevil world. Supernatural.)
Melvyn
He languidly strode across the room, pacing unhurriedly. The 5"5' boy was clearly bored out of his mind. No sunlight filtered through the window, only candles lit the sparsely furnished room. His hair was longer than most males, falling just below his shoulders. The white hair was messy and curls popped up in random places. His bangs fell over his right eye. The other light blue one closed, deep in concentration. His pale skin looked almost white as snow, his pink lips the only real contrasting feature on his face. He had a deprived frame that his clothes occasionally sought to cover. His waist was slim and both items of clothing hung off of him. His shoulders the widest of his frame. Currently he wore a burlap shirt and wool pants. Bony fingers tugged through his messy hair. White eyelashes blinked open and his tongue darted out to wet his dry lips. Pressing his lips together he let out a light breath. He paused yet again tapping his canines together then he left the room. Nearly soundless steps preceding him.
Melvyn (Cassius' View)
Cassius looked down at the small boy he was currently helping bathe. The tiny thing had refused Cassius' wife and was currently trying to get away from him. Poor Emily had been so defeated by the refusal. The boy, Melvyn, started to speak but Cassius gently shushed him as he worked through his white knotted hair. His hair was long touching mid back on him, one side naturally fell into one of his eyes. Melvyn looked up at him, hair sticking to his face and an unnerving icy blue eye searched Cassius' red eyes in turn. He had found the boy only a few hours ago sitting in the street, shivering on the cold winter morn' and being beaten by the church goer's. Cassius had shooed them away from the dirty orphan and taken him in. The boy was full of bruises and cuts and Cassius tried his best to avoid hurting him further. Melvyn was far too thin for his liking. His ribs and pelvis visible, boney fingers that trembled heavily, sunken eyes, and hollow cheeks. Cassius could practically see his heart beating against his chest. The vampire side of him cried out for the sweet blood of a child but he'd been around humans long enough to resist as he drew Melvyn out of the bath and began to dry him. Now that his hair was clean, curls became visible, he certainly needed a haircut but that could wait for another day, for now they'd have to get some food for him.
Aubrey’s view of Melvyn (Before knowing he was a vampire) (Written by a friend)
A month or so ago, he moved to a small rural village to get away from his old job. He decided he needed a new job. He loved books, so why not a bookstore, it's what he ended up doing. Not many people would visit, and when they did, it was usually the same people over and over again. Although on this particular day, he had a new customer come, one he hadn’t even seen around the village before.
He lifted his head up from the book he was reading once he heard the bell that hung above the door ring. He watched a male walk in covered by a cloak. The man reached up and slid his hood down, revealing his pale skin. Although he looked sickly, his blue eyes looked pretty alongside his snow-white hair and pale skin. He felt attracted to him, like there was some invisible force pulling him. He shook his head and began reading again, but he couldn’t keep his mind off of him. He got a weird presence from him that he should stay away, but something still pulled him near. Although the man left the store without saying much, his beauty still stayed with him. He would’ve never guessed that the man was a vampire.
Room
It was a simple thing that Cassius had presented to him yet the child was absolutely delighted. It was more than he had ever had, and from what Cassius could glean from his broken Latin was that his previous home had been negligible compared to this. An alcove sat opposite the door adorned with pillows and a curtain that Emily had sewn together. A bed was tucked to the left side with many blankets spread over top as Melvyn tended to be cold due to how thin he still was. A fireplace was set into the right wall already lit making the room uncomfortably warm for him and Emily but perfect for Melvyn. A desk was pushed against the back wall closest to the fireplace. Currently Melvyn was tucked into bed staring at Cassius with those big, baby blue eyes waiting for him to finish blowing out the candles that sat in sconces across the walls. Cassius smiled at him who smiled back as he blew out the last candle and left the room.
