Knowing that he couldn’t help Ezekiel with this next leg of the job, Brandon decided to pull back, drop down into the field next to a tree and dry out his jeans that had gotten the worst of the water splashed on them.
With aggressive whips of his tail and a few more raspberries Lazlo tried to prevent Ezekiel from hinging open his jaw and working on his teeth, but with an undeniable calm and a firm hand Ezekiel was soon on his way to getting the stubborn stallions teeth clear of plaque.
At this point Brandon just watched him work. He couldn’t help but drink him in. Ezekiels attention was fully on Lazlo, so he seemed unaware of the picture of pure appeal that he painted in the stark and warm midday sunlight.
Ezekiel’s golden hair was slicked back, dancing around his shoulders. His shirt was wide open and his chest and stomach were wet and completely mesmerizing. Brandon traced his abs with his eyes down....down... then up to his clay colored nipples and the muscled pecks that Brandon could almost imagine pressing his teeth and tongue too. Lavishing them with nips and licks until they became hard and sensitive.
With a small shiver in his lower parts, thoughtless breathless words leapt from Brandon’s lips before he could stop them. “God...you’re so beautiful...”
The moment the words fled his lips from his mind. Brandon felt a sharp flush of surprise hit him and he tried to cover his mouth in embarrassment
Ezekiel looked at him, saw his expression and just laughed. “Hey, It’s okay Brandon. It was just a compliment. No harm done. Besides....I think you have a great body too.” Ezekiel said giving Brandon a quick wink, before he turned his head and unclasped Lazlo from the tree.
With a soft damp pat on the rear end he allowed Lazlo to walk out deep into the fields to graze happily in the morning light that would quickly whisk away the water that was still dripping from the stallion’s mane and tail. Brandon slowly took his feet and watched Lazlo grazing the grasses as well.
Then Ezekiel turned, walked right up to Brandon and motioned to him. “In fact I’ve thought you were good looking, ever since the night we met...If that doesn’t sound too creepy.”
“Oh it does.” Brandon scoffed back lightly. He put a hand on his stomach feeling the large scars that crisscrossed his skin through the material of his shirt. “Besides I have a body like a fucked up jig-saw puzzle and we both know it.” he said
Ezekiels eyes settled on Brandon’s hand tracing its movement across his stomach. Self-consciously Brandon dropped it and Ezekiels eyes traveled up his chest and neck slowly back up to his eyes.
Suddenly Ezekiels eyes began to glow. “I don’t care about your scars Brandon. I’ve touched them before. In fact I wouldn’t mind touching them again, or caressing them or tracing them with my tongue...”
“Whoa Okay! Okay, I get it.” Brandon said shaking his head at the images and sensations that tried to rise. He had to get back to the point of his visit, before Ezekiel managed to turn him completely off topic again. With a sigh, Brandon regained his composure enough to look Ezekiel in the eyes and say.
“Ezekiel I want to give you an answer. You deserve an answer....I think we both need to decide what we want at this point, before anything else happens....you know?” Brandon tried to keep taking but he failed and stopped off in awkward embarrassment and uncertainty.
It wasn’t for lack of words. In fact Brandon had a lot he wanted to say. A lot he wanted to do. But he was still hesitating because deep inside him still felt so angry and guilty and alone. He wanted to surmount his own weakness. He wanted to allow Ezekiel in, but should he? Should he let them take this step?
Brandon opened his mouth, completely unsure of what he would say, luckily Ezekiel saved him from this by suddenly reaching out, grabbing Brandon’s hand and pulling him closer.
“Hold on. Before we do this....” Ezekiel interrupted once more. “Can I kiss you first?”
Brandon blinked. “What?” he almost chocked.
Ezekiel smiled, glanced down and squeezing Brandon’s hand in his own. “Look I know you have a lot on your mind Brandon that’s why I didn’t want to push you into anything. But honestly I’ve said everything I’ve wanted to say to you. I haven’t changed my mind about how I feel.” Ezekiel shook his head, still looking down and continued.
“Still, in the end, what I want? It doesn’t matter if you don’t want it too, and I want to give you the chance to express yourself fully and without any regrets. But I won’t lie to you....” Ezekiel glanced up and a weak chuckle fell from his lips and his eye were glowing. “I’m feeling a little bit anxious about where we will be after all of this is said and done. I also don’t want to regret anything myself. So just let me kiss you. Weather it’s the last kiss or the first of many more I’d rather not know just yet. ” Ezekiel finished on another sweet and weak chuckle.
Brandon laughed slightly, but deep down he knew Ezekiel wasn’t joking. Ezekiel’s pupils were thinner; shrinking to the size of quarters. It seemed that he was stalking pray. And Brandon was the deer.
But.....in all honesty isn’t this what Brandon had been craving when he had come out here to find the Guardian? To feel him. To speak to him. To have a true and open dialogue.
Still Brandon did feel he had to object to one thing.
“Ezekiel If you rile me up with a kiss....” Brandon replied after a moment. “I could slip up and feed on you. I might zap you with the flame again and every time that happens you kind of pass out on me....” He tried to intercede.
Ezekiel shrugged and squeezed Brandon’s hand again. “I don’t care. In fact if you need it? Don’t hesitate to use this time to feed.”
Brandon shook his head. Ezekiels mind was already made up. But then so was Brandon’s.
Because Brandon knew that he didn’t want to say no. He had been wanting to kiss Ezekiel for days, beneath all the angst and worry, he had wanted to feel the Guardians touch most of all. Even just an accidental brush of skin made him feel so good.
But Brandon was also deeply anxious. He just didn’t know what he would choose. He didn’t know if he should accept Ezekiels love. Or confess his own feeling to him. Depending on what happened next everything between them was going to change ....so what was one simple to-hell-with-it Kiss going to matter?
“Alright...” Brandon said with a shrug to hide his anxiety and happiness. “Kiss me. Come on. Hurry up.”
Ezekiel laughed once more. His open shirt framing his toned chest, stomach, and all the magnificence his low riding jeans called attention to. “God you are so unromantic...Do you know that?” he said softly coming closer.
Brandon smiled. “Yeah..?” He challenged playfully. “Well if it’s so obvious, why bother asking...?”
“Because...” Ezekiel hissed back tilting forwards. “I like it when you pretend like I don’t turn you on. Your so stubborn that its starting to become endearing, I think.”
Then with the eyes of his Leopard bleeding over his pupils, turning them into long slit ovals surrounded by glowing hungry azure lights, Ezekiel put his hands on Brandon’s face. He rubbed his fingertips across his cheeks gently, then traced his lips with then pads of his thumbs eliciting a small intense shutter.
"Dont tease me..." Brandon whimpered before Ezekiel lowered his head and took him breathless and wanting.
