Chapter -5

Aditya saw her in disbelief and Smiled  as he knew how she was. 

He said, 'Go, sit.'

'I will complete it. Nothing much is left now,  just go and sit'. Trisha said.

He saw her in a stern way but got back to the table as she said - Pleeasseeeee!

He was finding it hard to not smile at that time.

They had breakfast together and then went to their room to get ready. 

After sometime Adi is waiting for Trisha who is talking on the phone and taking the list and bag etc. Things they needed For the Market.

Adi said I will wait for you in the parking lot. She nodded and he left the apartment.

She finally got everything and checked the watch, ohoo! i am late , I need to run now! She started to run with the bag she had.

She reached the lift. Waited for it to open and just boarded it as soon as it opened. She reached their car and they both went to the market.

Being a vegetarian it's difficult for her to have a cheap meal everything is cheap but vegetables. 

Hence she needs to have fresh vegetables and that to be a lot. So she asked Adi to be ready for the war.

Adi looked back at her as she sounded like she was the general who was going on the war.

They went to market. A little bargain here a little there. Ohh I have a lot of vegetables enough for the week. She thought in her mind and she looks back to Adi who was watching a dalgona candy vendor. Like he was a lost kid who long for it.

She went to him, and shook him a little and asked 'Do you want some?' 

What? No! He said. And left with the bags she was holding.

She was amazed this was first time he kinnda shouted on her. She was kinna a little sad u see she has never seen this Adi.

But she went to the car and asked Him if he was ok.

He said 'Yes, I am. Sorry I didn't mean to shout.' 

Ohh it's ok. Take your time. She said and smiled at him.

He saw her and smiled back.

He has a flashback when they both reached their room after their wedding where they were alone.

He told her about his ex as he was not that ok to share everything he is not ok with it or maybe he needed time to open up. So he asked her to not interfere in his life. And said he will respect her too and won't ask her  to tell him everything.

She said she is married now. Her parents are happy. Nothing Matters now. She will respect him and his decisions. She asked him if it was ok to be friends as they will be in a relationship with all the world. It is better to behave like they are in one. So that no one suspects. He agreed. 

So finally the term was 

No one will try to ask about another person's past and will help with the  social stuff.

Slowly  they become good friends going on dinner etc together thinking it is just as the friendship. Nothing more. But it was more.

He smiled at how they have changed a lot. From how they started.

He thought it was him who changed not her. She was like as she always was. He thought if him changing  is ok or not. He felt that he could choose her. She is different. 

They reached home. Parked the car and  took a lift.

 Holding the heavy bags they both reached home. They were welcomed by ajhuma.

Ajhuma hugged Trisha and asked if she was good. Trisha did the same. Ajhuma greeted Adi and took bags from him and then,  she talked a little and went to the kitchen to wash the vegetables.

Adi got a call from his friends and he asked Trisha if she was ok with cooking for 9 people as his friends and their family, are coming today. She said, 'Of course, u want to see MasterChef Trisha's work. It was one of the fav.  hobby of trisha.

He smiled and said he will tell his friends to come. He left the kitchen.

Trisha asked ajhuma if she was ok with it. As it was a lot of chopping of vegetables and all. They both nodded and played songs on TV and then started the  work.

Adi could smell the food in his room he Felt hungry, but he had to complete the meeting and the presentation. Finally the door bell was ringing. He went to open it and welcomed his friends.

He then called Trisha and he was stunned as she was ready in a very simple red saree.  She looked like a princess without even doing anything. 

Wow, yeppo, filled the room.

She smiled a lot and said thank you. Please sit. 

What would you like to drink? Adi asked.

Ohh please sit we need to talk a lot.they asked.

She sits beside Adi, who is Star stucked. He felt that feeling when he first saw as a bride, how beautiful she was at that moment. How can someone be this pretty. He saw all the eyes were on her.

Minho was staring at her time to time. He was a teen boy who was the son of Adi's friends. They asked a few things about Saree. 

Finally Adi said,

ohh tell me what you like to drink? 

And they said, Water. 

After water was given to guests.

Trisha said,

As it is lunch time  already so let's just  sit at the table and have lunch and talk there.

They all went there. The food was served by Ajhuma and Trisha and then they all had their first bite and were amazed and looked at Trisha. Their gasp made Trisha happy.

They never had a home cooked Indian meal.

So, they felt the taste was a little different but it was soooooo good that they asked Adi when they could come back to have this tasty food, and praised the food a lot. Trisha Smiled as she was happy to hear her guests were happy.

Indian Hospitality you know, Athithi devo bhav: means  you should treat guests as god. 

Adi said, u know we both are working so having lunch like this takes away, our one and only Sunday. We will make sure it happens as soon as possible.

 They all said please make it soon.

 

 Trisha nodded with a smile. 

When they all were talking about how good the food was Trisha felt happy and she smiled towards Adi.

Minho once again glanced at Trisha who was smiling and felt his heart skip a beat. A young boy's first love. 

Adi saw her and smiled back.

Then they all say together and talk about how the office is, and other stuff while Trisha helped Ajhuma get the kitchen together.

 

After having tea, his friends Went back, with a promise to get back soon again. 

Minho Asked Trisha if he could call her Noona, And she laughed saying she is way older than him and she is ok with emmo, but he insisted, so she said ok, as it was a cute request for her. And with this everybody Smiled and greeted each other with the promise of meeting soon. Then they all  left.

Trisha asked Adi if he was Happy. He smiled and nodded. 

It was the first time his friends came. He rarely goes to parties or gatherings. She felt satisfied.

It was a good day. With happiness and laughter. 

Thank god for your blessings.

She thanked the god and went to sleep as it is going to be a tight week ahead.

Alarm buzzing.....

And he panicked because he wanted to wake up but he was unable to move, he could not do anything, he was helpless, he felt he would die like this. It was  when the door opened and  his manager.......
