*Flashback*...
It was about junior high. I used to be a well-known student. You know, I was loved by everyone. And was an A-plus student as well.
My best friend was Jinn. He used to stay with me everywhere, anywhere. We were always together, never apart.
"Yann, hour for lunch. Let's head to the cafeteria", He said.
"Yeah." I said
"What are you going to eat today?" he asked.
I smiled and said, "Anything is fine".
He went to get some lunch. I was also preoccupied with scrolling through my phone's feed.
"Here is the food, eat it", he said.
"How many times do I have to tell you not to use your phone while eating?" he began to nag.
"Hey, chill out. You nag me more than my mom did in my entire life. Are you my best friend or my mom?" I said while laughing.
I love when he scolds or nags me. Because it means he is concerned about me.
"Hey your phone has been ringing from a long time, pick it up, there might be an emergency", I said
"AHH, it's my girlfriend.. She has been calling me since this morning.", he said.
"So, Why aren't you picking up the call?" I asked.
"Wait who's she? She's not your girlfriend!! Or have you changed your girlfriend again?" I asked curiously.
"UMM, Yeah used to asked me to meet her all the time? How can I be meet her all the time, don't I have my own life?" He said angrily.
"How many girlfriends did you change until now? I have almost lost count of it." I said.
His girlfriend's rarely stay for more than a week or two.
"Look at me, I'm single and happy unlike you who wags you tail for your girlfriend", said teasingly.
"Shut up", he said irritably.
"Hahahaha".
We both started laughing like crazy.
They were pleasant times. We were both content and carefree; we had nothing to worry about. Who knew being an adult would be so demanding? I wish I hadn't become an adult.
