“That's good to hear, Fier if you want, you can go out and help control the zombies, or stay here with me and keep an eye on my father,” I said.
“The zombies?” Fiestro said.
“Yeah, those shambling things you were protecting the people from,” I replied.
“They’we gone now, Hulkew took them away and is now back in the cwack,” Fiestro said before yawning, “ I tired.”
“Wait seriously? You did that on you’re own. That’s amazing buddy,” Fier said
Fiestro hugged us both, “I will miss you guys, but it's time for me to sleep”
“We’ll miss you buddy,” I said hugging him tightly, “Remember, you are an important member of this team.”
“Weally?” he said with a sound like he was going to start crying.
“Definitely. You mean a lot to us,” Fier said.
“Sleep well buddy,” I said as Fiesrtro curled up and disappeared.
"And in that note," Fiers flames died, "I'm no longer a hero."
"Oh hush you," Blair said, "powers don't make you a hero, it's how you act."
"True, remember Fier," I said hugging Fier, " you are my hero, you've saved my ass so many times that you will never know how I truly can express it."
Fier looked down at the man in his arms, I looked up and kissed him as deep as he could.
"I love you," Fier said looking into my eyes.
"I love you too," I responded, staring back.
"Oh that's disgusting, breeding with that filthy rat. You will be the downfall of this country, the company will fall and you will have no one, but yourself to blame." My father said breaking free of the ice.
"When will you learn? You're nothing to me."
"I may be nothing, but he is everything," my father shot his arm out grabbing Fier. "You sure are defenseless without your powers."
He turned around and jumped through the window, bolting for the crack.
"Fier!" I yelled as ice started accumulating around me.
"Go," Amaya said, "I will work on sealing the crack, go save your man."
I nodded and launched myself out of the hallway towards my father, who was moving faster on his mutated body.
"Still following me, for this filth? What is wrong with you, he's not worth it, they're a dime a dozen. "
"Absolutely not, " I said as I summoned a blizzard and actived the defense system closing up the backyard.
"Insolent brat, I am just getting rid of this waste so I can fix you. Why don't you want my help?"
"Because I don't need help." My eyes glowed pale blue and the blizzard worsened around us my father broke through the wall and stood outside the crack dangling Fier over it.
"Well, well, well. Seems I have given you a dilemma sir. Either save yourself or save your precious piece of meat. Your choice."
