Chapter 1: Who said the Villainess needed saving?
It was an awkward position. They were behind the school out in the open, the clouds were blocking the sun out of view. A dark haired figure with emerald eyes holds a blonde girl in place to where she wanted to. "I swear, I! The Heroine will be your savior!"
The Heroine looks through the Villainess with determination and confidence as the other girl blinks in confusion. The Villainess scans her eyes for any sign of deception or lies, the way she said it- with such conviction.
It wasn't a lie.
"Save me?" she asked roughly but didn't let her face show that she was confused.
Is this a trick?
One minute ago this woman was crying in pain, now she swears that she'll save her? From what?
She stares at the Heroine for a moment before leaning in closer to her face. "Miss Blanchet. All I ask for you, is to never approach and to never talk to the crown prince. Have you forgotten? We're both engaged to the public if anyone sees you with him. Everyone will doubt his position and will lead me into trouble as the future Queen."
Badum! Badum!
The Heroine's heart could be heard thumping so loudly! She was so close! Too close for her comfort that it feels like she's going to faint anytime! "Are we clear, Miss Blanchet? From now on I don't want you anywhere near my fiancé."
"Um- yes! No close to fiancé! Yes no no fiancé!" her words become broken, after realizing the potential beauty of the villainess. She was so beautiful- their faces only inches apart before their lips could... kiss- oh what was she thinking?!
The Villainess couldn't help but raise her sharp eyebrows from her reply. Was it a yes or no? But from the looks of her face she got the message. "I take it you won't be going anywhere near him." she pulls away from her pinning lock. "Our talk is over then. Thank you for understanding, Miss Blanchet."
When she pulled away, the blonde girl also known as our Heroine could smell the fragrance of rose and that left her feeling intoxicated.
It smells nice. Is what she thought.
The Villainess didn't bother nor want to make the conversation of the two to be any longer, so she just planned to leave the girl on her own. After all, such a big girl like herself can go find her way back into the classroom.
Our Heroine on the other hand- broke her trance out of her spell and called out to the Villainess. "Wait! Your um! Ladyship! Wait!" she runs after the girl in her frilly fantasy uniform and stops, blocking the other girl on her way. "You said- I can't go near the crown prince, your fiancé." She repeats the words.
The Villainess looks at her in irritation. "Yes that is why I called you out to the back and the reason for all this farce. May I remind you that you agreed to-"
"So then-!" without even letting the Villainess finish, the blonde girl speaks again, happily and with glee. It scared the other girl for she didn't expect her classmate was secretly a crazy woman with- a really pretty smile.
"Can I get close to her ladyship?! I don't mind not giving a damn- I mean- not getting near the crown prince if I'll be with her ladyship!" She offers the Villainess her plan and she wasn't intrigued.
What is wrong with this... person. They came to the back of their school just so she can threaten her to stop seeing her fiancé who she has noticed they been getting close with.
Hmm... wait. The Villainess has thought of a great idea! She really doesn't want these two to get acquainted with one another or else it will start a controversy of how the engagement of two powerful families are crumbling.
If she can keep Miss Blanchet by her side on full observation. She can keep her tabbed and perhaps she can even use her... in some way.
She grinned slightly feeling proud of herself with her plan, quickly to remove said grin she turned to the heroine and told her. "Suit yourself, Miss Blanchet. As long as you won't do me any harm. I don't care of what you do."
"Please! Your ladyship, call me by my first name. I don't mind if you would. In fact I would be happy for you to call me by it." she suggested it with a playful tone in her voice.
"No. I... do not like to associate anyone by their first name, Miss Blanchet." the Villainess said awkwardly and the other girl's shoulder slumped. Seeing the sudden down mood of the blonde girl she sighed. "Give me time to get to know you better, perhaps by then I will learn how to use your first name."
After all, for a noble to call someone by their first name. They would really have to be close friends- or they were fellow nobles from the same ranking.
The Heroine could happily jump on that moment- having the hopes of the Villainess calling her by the first name someday!
But ah! She forgot that she was just transmigrated into another world! The world of [Love Lily Blossom Otome Game]!
"Shit!" she cussed on accident, feeling the sudden cold breeze on her skin and the memory of all the endings for the Heroine too! She doesn't only need to save the Villainess from her own bad ending! She also needed a way to save herself from those horrible male leads!
"Pardon... shit?" the Villainess asks curiously and the Heroine curls in horror. She accidentally made the Villainess say a cuss word from her old world! Oh no! Her beautiful mouth has been tainted by her earth cussing ways!
"Your ladyship no! That's not a really good word to say! Don't ever say it again, okay?" she pleads for the Villainess to understand.
The Villainess squints her eyes in confusion. "Miss Blanchet, if it is not a good word then why did you say it. Might I add, you even yelled it without thinking.'' After all, the so well renowned Miss Analissa Blanchet was seen as the most purest and adorable girl in the school. For her to say a bad word or anything like that- it would ruin her reputation.
She now has this information that Miss Blanchet can actually say distasteful things... she can use it against her but the problem is who would believe a girl like her with a horrible reputation amongst the school?
No one would believe her.
On the other hand, Analissa, the heroine, was on the verge of shame but no matter! She can just divert the conversation in another way. "Oh yes, your ladyship, can I call you by your first name? I really like your name, it's really cute and elegant. I like it very much."
She wasn't lying. Every time the Villainess popped up on her screen and with her gorgeous black ensemble of a uniform, her simping gamer side would scream! Of course she would! Look at her! She might be down bad and is the way between the male love interests- but come on!
Why isn't she a love route too?!
That compliment caught the Villainess off guard, what a fool. If you think that her name was really cute and elegant. Don't think that she's happy with it. She's actually stomping her feet in utter rage and crossing her arms in irritation.
Yes, irritation. How dare she try to flatter her. If you think that's going to work you have another thing coming.
"No. Do not even think about it, never in a million years." even her fiancé doesn't call her by her first name. Why should a commoner girl like her suddenly call her by her first name. "A commoner calling someone of my ranking will get you in trouble, I would prefer not to- never mind."
She would prefer not to put her in that state but for some reason she stopped. Oh! Of course! Warning her would mean helping her. It's a good thing she stopped. "If that will be all I need to head back into our classroom."
The former Japanese streamer felt so happy. She could feel the tsundere gaze of the Villainess in her presence! She can now die happily! Then again she's not sure if the game and the Villainess she's talking to right now.
Are even the same person.
Another thing worth of mention, how did she even get into the world of the Otome game that she just finished? Did she die? What was the reason? Will her life here be similar to those otome game novels she just read? What if she can't save anyone at all- even herself...
"Please let me escort you there, your ladyship! After all, I'm currently staying away from the crown prince. If you're not there to check up on me- who knows where I might stray off to?" She teases the Villainess who stops in her tracks and walks back to Analissa.
"Walk behind me. Do not get lost. Do not walk in front, and do not stray into my fiancé's side. Only behind me." she instructed Analissa and the girl could only nod teasingly.
The reason why she instructed that, if Analissa walked behind it means that she's not in power and only a follower. Those who walk in front are those who's in position in power, Analissa is a commoner.
The Villainess, Lady Evelyn Alarie is a daughter of a Duke and Duchess Alarie who takes care of the west side of the human kingdom, their family being appointed by the royal family hundreds of years ago.
It made her slightly sad to be walking behind the Villainess but maybe one day... she can walk beside her instead of behind her.
"Of course, your ladyship. Shall we go now?" (Analissa) asks happily while the Villainess didn't answer and just walked in front. I guess that's her cue to follow.
What a tsundere, Analissa thought.
