We made it on time to the cafeteria for breakfast after we washed up, Arthur was grumbling from the bathroom to the cafeteria how he got such a rude awakening and kept giving William a glare that basically said "You're gonna regret that" but William shrugged it off saying "He may be mad, but he won't do anything to cause someone to be injured."

Breakfast was bacon and eggs with french toast. As we were eating our breakfast, Mr Chronos came and sat at the end of our table and asked "What's this I heard about a fight with Alfonso Hapsburg Jr?"

"What fight? Art said, feigning ignorance

Mr Chronos did not buy it and continued "Let's not play this game. I heard what happened in the bathroom last night and also the fisticuffs on the train. This behaviour is unacceptable." 

The three of us looked at each other and just as we were about to apologise, Mr Chronos let out a laugh and said "it reminds me of myself when I was your age, I expected this kind of thing from Arthur but Simon……you really surprised me when I heard the complaint. Hahaha"

I was confused at what just happened and I think William was too, cause he was the first one to ask "you mean we're not in trouble?"

"Trouble?" Mr Chronos said, surprised.

"No, of course not," he continued. "Well technically I have to give the three of you warnings and tell you not to do it again….but there's no way that's gonna happen considering Alfonso was the one that started all of……this. But I have to tell you the next time I hear another complaint about the three of you being involved in another fight….I'm gonna have to punish you alright?" He got up as he finished. "Ahem..now hurry and finish your breakfast. Assembly is starting soon." He said as he left.

"Is it just me or we just got away with not just one but two violations of the school rules?" Arthur said with his mouth wide open.

"You mean you got away with two violations," William said, correcting Arthur.

"We only got into a fight on the train." He pointed to me and himself as he finished.

"Potato Potahto" Arthur rebuked.

"We should go for morning assembly

I've never seen my teacher like this before. He always has a serious demeanour on him so it's hard to imagine him as anything else but the serious and loving teacher and father who took me in when I lost my family.

When we came into the school hall for morning assembly, everyone was already seated. The hall was split into two sections

The upper balcony for the students who came from nobility and everyone else at the bottom.

I join my two friends in a balcony booth as we were in the nobility class,

The students council president came up to give a speech about being another week of school and how we should be honoured that we are studying in one of the most prestigious magic schools in the U.S and that we are ambassadors of the school. blah blah blah.

Honestly I couldn't care less about that speech, and I guess everyone else had the same idea too cause most of them were sleeping, nodding off or doing their own thing.

"Oh my Gosh! That was soooo boring"

Arthur let out a boring sigh. "I thought I was gonna die of boredom" he continued

"What's the first class?" I asked

"Mana weapon manipulation." William answered. "It's being held at the arena."

We made our way there after we exited the hall.
