When I got to my room, Art, noticing that something was wrong asked "Si, you ok? You look spooked." Not wanting to worry him I told him I was fine and that it was nothing. We got our books and stationaries headed for the cafeteria for dinner, then the library afterwards to serve detention.

Dinner wasn't that good as it used to be considering Art and Bill still aren't talking to each other, so things were pretty awkward at the table. We got to the library afterwards and as soon as I opened the door Mr Chronos greeted us with a smile and said "I will be in charge of looking after all of you during detention."

"Isn't that against the regulations? I mean normally a teacher is supposed to take us." Arthur said what we were all thinking.

"So you're saying I'm not a teacher? I was one before I became the headmaster, besides I want to keep a close eye on the three of you after the trouble you've caused since the start of this week." Mr Chronos explained.

"Speaking of trouble, where is Alfonso? He also has to serve detention based on what I remember?" Bill asked, looking around the big empty library. "Alfonso will be serving detention elsewhere, and based on his behaviour the moment he was transferred here, I think it's best if I separate him from the three of you. Now then, please open your textbook and start studying." Mr Chronos gave a smile but the tone was serious that we knew he was done with answering our question.

During detention I had to teach Bill on what he had missed out during the day. Art sat across the table quietly trying to read up on the first part of the history lesson, but he gave up about 30 seconds in and walked over to our side and said "can I study with you guys? I can't understand a single thing from the textbook."

Bill looked at him for a while and said "fine!" And continued studying.

"I'm sorry." Art said all of sudden.

"Is…Is….Art actually apologising?" Bill asked me, looking surprised as I was. 

"Don't make this such a big deal!" Art said looking annoyed but continued anyway "You're right, I'm always trying to be a hero and not thinking about the consequences, and I am glad that I have you always watching my back and even though I'm bad at showing it, I appreciate everything you've done for me."

"I'm sorry too Art, I guess I was just fed up about always being in your shadow and I just unload it on you." Bill apologises after listening to Art's speech.

After they made up, we continued to study together happily as usual until it was close to bedtime. Mr Chronos, pleased with what had just happened, dismissed us, so we went back to the dorm to rest for the next day.

When I woke up, I was in my room back in my house, I opened the door and walked down the corridor calling out for my parents wondering where they were.

When I got to the foot of the stairs I saw them sitting on the dining table looking at me smiling, as I approached them a bright light flashed and the scene changed before me. A tall black smokey figure stood over my parents bodies, his back facing me and the house looked like it had been blown up.

The figure then turned his head to the right and said "you killed them didn't you?" I took a step back and fell back to the floor

"Don't worry it'll be your time for you to join them. Hahahaha"  "No…. no please no" I pleaded as I crawled back in fear.

 "Si, Si! Come on! Snap out of it!" I woke up to Art shaking me. "You alright? You were screaming in your sleep" he asked, looking concerned. "I'm fine, just having nightmares." I replied. "What about? Alfonso kicking your ass?" He teased me. "Hey! Last time I kicked his." I corrected him. "Yeah but in a fair fight he definitely wins" he rebuked. "Come on, we don't want to be late for class." He said, getting dressed.

The first class of the day was Mana weapon manipulation, those who did it easily the last time got to try out other weapons such as spears, mace, Dagger and all kinds of other hand held weapons. But Art and Bill spent their time helping me practise, I was still having a bit of trouble forming mana around the blade of my sword.

Meanwhile Alfonso, who doesn't seem to have learned his lesson, continues to be a jerk and verbally abuse me from across the room whenever he can. I try to tune him out but once in a while I hear a gruff voice in my head whispering "KILL HIM." With a distant but strong feeling of rage in it.

Day by day I started to improve on Mana weapon manipulation. But with it I started to get a headache, and it gets worse with each passing day. Alfonso's antics continue to irritate me daily. "I'm gonna take my time to kill him later" I thought to myself. "Wait! What am I saying?! I don't want to kill him."

"Of course you want to, he has caused you so much pain and torment." A rough gruff voice said in my head, "SHUT UP!!!" I shouted as I walked away with one hand clutching my head. Heading towards the stands as I tried to fight off the entity in my head trying to take over filling me with resentment. 

Art and Bill came over to check on me asking me if I was alright. "Go….away! Please! I don't want you to get hurt." I said

Alfonso who heard all the noise came to pick on me "Oh so the peasant now has a headache and can't do magic. How sad!" He said mockingly, I tried desperately to get as far away as possible while ignoring him but he kept following me, and then he started getting physical. He pushed me and said "Stop ignoring me peasant! I am royalty and you must bow to me." Everything went black… I don't remember what happened after
