Chapter 6 The Little Boy
After school, on her way back home, Rahel went to the candy shop. Just like for any other little girl of Rahel’s age, nothing was more delightful for her than those delicious treats. She came out the shop soon with not only a bag full of candy, but also a big lovely smile. She put the lamb hand in the paper bag too, so it could have a taste of the sweets.
“You have a beautiful smile, you know, my child?” Said the lamb head.
Troubles always followed Rahel whenever she went. Her nasty classmate robbed the whole bag of candy from her. Rahel was chasing after the boy in the dark alleys with anger, and not until he had tripped over did she stop going after him like wolves coming for their prey. Rahel gave him a scornful laughter, because she knew that that was a dead end and he had nowhere to escape. The lamb head and the candy rolled out from the paper bag when the boy was trying to get up. The scary, bloody, smelly raw lamb head terrified the boy so much that he wet himself.
“You want some candy, don’t you? Then come get it.” Said Rahel, taking out a small hunting knife and a few candy from her right pocket.
The boy stayed on the ground begging for mercy, but God didn’t hear it. Soon it started to rain.
“Baa, baa, black sheep, have you any wool?
Yes, sir, yes, sir, three bags full
One for the master and one for the dame— ” Sang Rahel
The rain was getting heavier, so Rahel sang louder.
“Baa, Baa, black sheep, have you any wool?
Yes, sir, yes, sir, three bags full
One for the master and one for the dame
ONE FOR THE LITTLE BOY WHO LIVES DOWN THE LANE” Sang Rahel with her dramatic, insane laughter.
Thunder broke when the boy opened his mouth for his last scream. His blood mixed with the rain streamed down the ditch.
“It looks like I helped Santa save one gift this year.” Said Rahel.
