Some of the pirates who were watching this fight began to whistle softly, because something amazing happened before their eyes. But none of them had any thoughts of stopping what was happening.
"Anna!", - came Yasir's imperious and rude voice from the stern of the ship, - "Do you want to damage the ship again?!"
Anna looked back at Yasir and snorted rudely, but then said dismissively: "Mike! Hic... Take my katana."
A young man ran out of the crowd, which had gathered in the number of 15 people to watch the fight. He looked about 22 years old and had a compass hanging around his neck. At first, he quickly ran up and picked up the scabbard, and then went to Anna.
She folded the sword and handed it to the man. He hurriedly took it with both hands, but held it as if it was some kind of jewel.
"Don't lose it!", - Anna said softly and turned her gaze to Russell.
A frightening aura continued to emanate from her. Anna took a fighting stance and straightened the fingers of her right hand, connecting the nearest ones with each other. It looked like she was trying to use her hand as a sword. She abruptly rushed to Russell, covering the distance between them in less than a second, and then waved her hand.
Russell managed to react at the last moment and tried to dodge. Anna's blow missed, but a scratch appeared on Russell's cheek, as if he had been cut with something sharp.
With her movement, Anna created a gust of wind that headed towards the boards that made up the floor of the upper deck, and a mark appeared on them, as if after a sword strike.
Russell tried to quickly strike back, and Anna wanted to continue her combination, but, unexpectedly, a huge man landed between them, it was Yasir.
Due to Yasir's landing after the jump, a loud sound resembling a shot from a cannon was heard. Yasir pushed the fighters slightly away from each other, and then stared at Anna.
"What are you doing?!", - Yasir was obviously very angry, his whole appearance indicated that he was extremely dissatisfied with something, - "You scratched the boards!"
"Who cares about them!? Hic... About these boards!?", - Anna said angrily, - "We're in the middle of a fight here!".
The two continued to swear loudly among themselves. The pirates were annoyed by this development, but continued to observe and discuss what was happening. Following Yasir, Lucy began to descend from the stern. At this time, a creaking sound was heard. The source of it was the door leading to the lower deck.
"Who is so brave that he dared to wake me up!", - a dissatisfied male voice was heard.
It turned out that the noise from Yasir's landing woke up the captain of the ship, and now Benjamin Hatch personally went up to the upper deck to find the culprit who dared to interrupt his sweet sleep.
The sailors, who had been standing and discussing the spectacle before them all this time, instantly fell silent and very quickly ran to their places. Lucy, who had just come down from the stern, stopped.
Hatch first looked at Anna and Yasir, whose faces had become indescribably pale and covered with cold sweat, then shifted his gaze to Mike, who was holding a katana in his hands.
"It's all because of this stupid boar!", - Anna pointed her finger at Yasir, trying to transfer the captain's displeasure to this person.
"Hmm...", - at this time Hatch looked at Russell, who with a calm expression wiped the blood from his cheek, on which there was a very noticeable mark from the cut, - "Anna, did you fight with our guest?"
"Yes!", - Anna exclaimed proudly, but when she saw Hatch's displeased expression, she lowered her gaze to the floor and tried to justify herself, - "But he provoked me."
"How?", - Hatch asked calmly, but it was obvious that he was very annoyed.
"He broke a bottle of my booze!", - Anna said a little quieter.
Hatch looked around the deck and noticed how one of the sailors was wiping the glass from a broken bottle, and the other was mopping the floor.
"Is that true?", - Hatch looked at Lucy because she always told him the truth.
The girl stood with a lost expression on her face and a drooping head.
"Yes, absolutely right!", - Anna screamed loudly and looked at Hatch, a slight smile appeared on her face.
But after her gaze met the captain's, the smile disappeared from her face and she lowered her head again.
"I'm not talking to you!", - Hatch snorted irritably and put his hand on Lucy's shoulder, - "Don't worry, I won't punish her, because nothing terrible has happened."
"She broke the bottle herself...", - Lucy said guiltily.
"I agreed to the fight myself.", - at this time Russell, who was standing on the sidelines and thinking about the last fight, decided to say his word.
"So it was like this...", - Hatch said thoughtfully, looking at the guy, and then turned back to Lucy, - "Take her to the cabin and make sure she's asleep."
"Yes!", - said Lucy with a smile on her face and went to Anna.
She took her by the hand and led her into the cabin. Anna did not resist, and even on the contrary, exhaled with relief.
“Thomas, take the guy to the forecastle and give him a hammock”, - Hatch looked at one of the sailors, and then returned to his cabin.
"Follow me.", - a quiet and calm male voice sounded from Russell's side.
Russell didn't notice how he got there. It was Thomas Hall, a short and rather gloomy man, who headed for the stairs that led to the forecastle.
He took the guy in the black robe to one place and pointed to an empty hammock. Russell turned away to look at his hammock, and when he turned his head again, Thomas was no longer there.
This man disappeared as quietly as he appeared. Russell, feeling tired, lay down in a hammock and fell asleep. By morning, there was no trace of the cut on his face.
(Note: The forecastle is the living quarters on the ship where the sailors were housed.)
