The calendar showed spring,

but for days

Rain.

From morning till evening,

day and night,

Rain.

Everything was soaked,

on all paths

puddles.

A cold wind was blowing,

everything was dull and

gray.

This went on for many days,

until one more

night,

the rain subsided,

the clouds

disappeared.

The full moon came out

and illuminated the soaked

earth.

In the silver light lay the land

and silently awaited the new

day.

And the next morning,

the sun appeared on the

horizon.

She rose up,

shone in the sky,

warming,

in the cloudless blue,

and the birds

sang.

The sun dried the earth,

made the rain

forgotten.

Everything became bright and cheerful,

beautiful was the land in

sunshine.

Trees would become green,

flowers would grow,

flourish.

Life was returning,

finally it was

spring!
