Late in the evening of that same day, two chairs face the fire of the chilling spring night.

“So Aura, what do you think of her”  one of the chairs spoke. It was a sweet, gentle voice with a hint of curiosity. 

“Lady Catherine or Lady Athena,” someone responded. It sounded raspy like they had been screaming for hours, and their voice was still recovering.

“Well, Lady Athena seems like a kind person; she was willing to move past the bullying they had done to her” They took a sigh “ Lady Cathrine doesn’t seem like a good person, but I really can’t say anything too much since I was similar to her when I was younger” There was another pause “Why do you ask Your highness?”

“Do  you remember when I told Your everyone had a destiny, and it was their actions that defined the course of it”

“Yeah” ‘You talk about it every chance you get, Aura thought.

“ What if destiny you had made meant you were going to die? But when that moment approached, Something changed, and a new path opened. “

“Wait!? Was Lady Cathrine supposed to die at the ball????

“Yup, But something changed it “ The princess paused; I believe it was herself who changed.”

“But didn’t Just say-” Aura was cut off.

“I know! I know what I told you, but her destiny and Fate were tied together for that moment.”

“Wait, Wait, what does Fate have to do with anything? You're making no sense, your highness.”

“ ok! I hear you, but Let me explain.” The princess took a moment to collect her thoughts  “ Fate is events that are going to happen, and nothing can be done to change them, and destiny is the direction someone can take after the events and how they choose to proceed. And in this case, fate had chosen her to die, and her destiny also had that end. But Something Changed, And I can’t figure out what it was. “ she tapped her chair rapidly. 

“ I am still confused, But why are you so worked up about it.?”

“Because the fate of our kingdom Rests in her hand.”

‘If it is what I think it is, I want to test her tomorrow.
