-Go naked. -Matthew had found the fuse of patience, and with the answer he gave, he just awaited the consequences without fear.
The girl's eyebrow almost flew out of her face, along with her sigh. He tried to calm down, but when he felt his hand tingling, he just let it follow its path to the other's arm. Strong and accurate was the slap, making the bigger one grumble and move away from the other with small quick steps.
-Sorry okay ?! -Exclaiming, he went back to the bathroom and finished fixing his own hair. - But go soon, please!
-I thought you didn't even want to go! -With the cry to the bathroom, the other saw that she was stressed, finally. -Leave me in peace.
-Taking into account that I can give some kisses today, I improved my view of the situation. -The young man appeared at the bathroom door and pointed to the girl on the bed, with a toothbrush in one hand and a toothpaste in the other.
-My clothes are styleless by themselves. - Taking a deep breath, the girl just gave up any of her clothes, and threw everything back in the closet.
-You menstruated, didn't you? -The other's muffled voice came out of the bathroom door and influenced a roll of eyes in the smaller one.
He left the door of his room, listening to a complaint from his friend, and walked to his father's room. Pout punctuating her face, she chose one of the other's dress shirts. He ran to his room, bumped into Mateus and pushed him aside, heading for the bathroom.
Mateus was about to call a car to leave alone, when the girl came out of the bathroom minutes later. The hair was straighter than it always was, reddish, and framed the other's freckle-free face. Her eyes were one of her biggest charms, and covered in a black shadow, smokey and striking, they made the green shine.
-That's it girl! Tasty, but late. Let's go, beloved. The taller one jumped to his feet and left through the bedroom door, dragging the other by the hand.
-Oh calm down! My purse and drinks. -While the other was running, the necklace swayed in her neckline.
-If I had known that you would be late today, I would have done my warm-up alone. -The other was looking around looking for something, rushed and frustrated . -Where are the keys to this house, for God's sake?
-Hold on! - Lais threw the keys away, while doing the last touches on her clothes in front of a mirror near the door.
-Let's party! -The other exclaimed happily, but when he opened the door his voice caught in his throat. -Haunt?
-He is going to screw it up. -The boy dressed all in black expressed anger in his voice, but continued to stop, preventing the other from passing to the outside. - Is Lais here?
- Zack ? -The redhead came to her friend's side and with an equally confused expression, she faced the other. -What are you doing here?
The brunette took a moment to answer and Lais wondered if he was planning to make an invasion. The eldest of the three just tried to absorb the sight of a redhead, who squandered a generous slit, where the long necklaces almost diverted attention from the silhouette of the breasts, almost.
- I was asked to take you. - He replied with all his control, while taking a lock of his hair from his eyes.
-Where? -Matthew tried to keep up with the other.
-For the party, of course. - Zack left the front of the two, and walked out of the porch of the house.
-What party? -Lisa couldn't help but laugh over the question.
A red-haired eyebrow rose as he watched the jeep in front of his house. She followed in the steps of the other who went straight to the car and thought about the possibilities of this happening in her life.
-Marie's. Let's go. -The other was impatient, but that didn't rush the other two.
They were suspicious, as Zack was not the synonym for "confident". Perhaps they would end up somewhere unknown, or end up lost on an island that was lost.
-Who sent you Zack ? -The boy opening the car door felt uncomfortable with the way the other pronounced his name.
-No need to worry, I'll take them with the greatest care I can. -With great theatricality, the other opened the rear door of the jeep, and directed with his hand for them to enter.
-Look, if you leave us in any alley, I'll rip your bones out before you can escape. -Matthew hurriedly got into the car, anxious to go to the most talked about party of the year.
Lais remained static in the middle of her house's lawn, frowning at the brunette in front of her. She wanted to understand what was going on, but came to no conclusions greater than: bribery.
-You didn't say that the party was for rich and futile people. -The distrust of others, made the oldest sigh and scratch the back of his neck irritably. It was noticeable that the redhead didn't miss anything.
-And yes. -With two steps he sat in the driver's seat and turned the key in the ignition. The car started and made the girl move.
Lais was happy to be going to the party, but the situation still sounded strange to her. When she sat down next to her friend, he pulled her into a side hug and smiled.
-Then why are you going there? And further leading us. -The girl could not put aside her doubts, which burned even more in the irritation of the other.
-I got paid, okay? - Zack expressed leaving with the car by the road.
-Oh I'm surprised. -She sounded sarcastic, and that made the other snort a laugh. Lais thought she might play the lottery that day.
-Well, it doesn't mean I'm staying. -With that last comment, the girl gave up questioning. For now.
-Let's go to a party! -Matthew's scream made a fuss inside the car, the other two jumped lightly.
-Yes. -Laís laugh infected his friend, making the atmosphere in the room soften.
***
-They're cute, you know. -The girl's voice jumped over the loud music, and reached the others in the circle. Some stopped to listen, others focused on their own side conversations.
-What? -One of the boys, Gaius perhaps, asked with a frown.
-Anything. Well, do you know if Marie is dating anyone? -The smile that another girl present directed at her, made Lais confused this time. -What?
-Are you interested by any chance? -The girl, whose name Lais did not remember, breathed in a voice that sounded like a child. A child in an adult's body, interesting.
-As? The redhead leaned closer, trying to see if she was still in on the conversation.
-Were you interested in Marie? -The other's voice jumped to Lais's ears, but she still couldn't find the reason for the words.
-No. You are? - With a smile the other gave up the conversation, waved her hand in a dismissal and got up to leave. - Okay. -He laughed and went back to talking with Mateus.
-Friend! Let's play the bottle game! -The other's cheerful expression made her smile too.
-Oh yes, please! -She replied and pushed the other's shoulder, excited and anxious. -Let me just go to the bathroom guys, wait for me.
-Don't delay babe. -A boy with blue eyes snorted when the redhead passed by him. She smiled back and left, earning every step like a model.
Going through the big house, in the middle of so many people, was almost a marathon, but she succeeded when she got to the bathroom. Luckily, as on a lucky day, when luck was smiling on her, he was free, and she wondered again at the possibilities. As he was leaving, he heard someone call his name. He looked alertly down the hall full of people, squinting in the colored light trying to see who it was. But the person appeared on her other side, startling her, making her jump to her feet.
- Get out of that Zack . -The tired sigh of the girl caught the biggest one in full.
The taller one was standing in front of him, in his hand a bottle of beer, in his lips a cigarette. Another. He tried to think of a way not to look down, and to study the slit in the other's clothing. Brute effort was a good trick. But he couldn't channel his effort to avoid smelling someone else's perfume again. It was refreshing, and it made him take a deep breath, reaching for more.
-Didn't you say you were leaving? -With a sarcastic smile the girl shifted her weight.
-Keep the context of my words, so that everything will work out. -The other's smile seemed relaxed now, different from earlier.
- Okay . Is it lost? Want help finding the bathroom? -The other spoke sarcastically, while theatrically looking to her side, where was the door she had just left. She smiled and pointed at it. -Oh, here it is. Until.
- Lais , come here with me. -The other did not let her escape and pulled her by the hand in the opposite direction from which she intended to follow.
-Hey! Wait a second! -She tried to keep pace, so as not to fall when bumping into people.
The other didn't wait, just continued through the big house until they were facing a glass door. They entered a huge outdoor area where there was an indoor pool and imitation puffs , only made of wood. There were several lights scattered around the place, but it was still darker than inside the house. With a moment of awareness the girl became alert and pulled her wrist from the other's hand, making the other look at her in confusion.
-Did you bring me to the mating corner? -By saying the words the other felt stupid, but continued to stare at him indignantly.
The other look around was inevitable, in search of the meaning of the other's words. Almost laughing, he wondered what had made her think of that, and then he felt the blood drain from his face. Had she realized the truth about him?
-Like this? He breathed over the music, praying his face didn't look what he was thinking.
-You brought me here to be with me. -The accusation made the other paralyze.
He looked into the other's face, -he couldn't help it, as there was no brute effort to it- he watched the other's rosy lips. With great force the other gave him a push, which made him divert his attention back to the universe of conversation and not her lips.
-As much as you are a temptation, I didn't have that in mind. -He felt like a liar, because he always had that in mind. But it wasn't exactly the focus of the moment for him.
-So what do you want? Because I doubt it was for a card game. -For some reason she was curious and waited for the other to stop inspecting her face and answer.
-You didn't let me get where I wanted to, so you'll have to keep your question a little longer. -He went ahead, but the girl stayed, impassive , watching the other go to a corner, where from the angle she was, she couldn't see what he saw.
With a last look back, he took in the girl, parked in place and with an expression of enmity screaming at him. He pursed his lips to contain a laugh and walked out of sight. He took a deep breath and took off his jacket, feeling more and more the heat that not even his cold beer seemed to ease. He threw himself on the couch, relaxing for a second and wanting the other to follow, but preparing for her not to.
The stars seemed brighter, it was as if the sky had started its own party and looking at them, Lais thought if it was really the other's stupid idea. With more than confusion she walked resolutely, ready for any confrontation.
