He slowly walked down the stairs, shivering; he rarely feels fear, but in the last few days hes been feeling fear on end and on edge lately.
Well, kid, where are you this morning?
Your princeaple says you weren't at school today.
This is not good. He swore he did not go to a fight; he swore he did not this time; maybe he did, but he definitely did not.
He started shaking. I was at the park.
The next thing he knew, he was being arrested, not knowing for what.
So we just let them. One asks him a few questions, but it doesn't matter.
What was it about him biting someone? Was he dangerous?
He knew it when he woke up at six o'clock in the morning and knew he couldn't get out of it.
The officers put them in the car. What did the officers asked what your his name was?
Curtis is my nama he ryplied
How did you do it?
Why did you kill him?
That could use curtis, he never had a fight today, nor did he kill anyone, plus he never had
Wait, I didn't kill anyone, he said.
Yeah, sure kid, why were you shaking?
He thought for a moment that he was still shaking. I thought it was something else. I thought it was for the drugs.
But I didn't grab any today, so I thought
So you're a drug dealer.
I just bought them, and he corrected and explained to them
Do parents know that you buy cigarettes and drugs?
Yeah, it's mostly for them, though.
The officer was shocked by this and told the other officer to check for any drugs in the house, look in the house, and do a drug test on both parents.
We're you buying drugs this morning, officer inquired.
I did not buy drugs this morning. I bought some yesterday afternoon.
Why weren't you at school today, and the next thing the officer asked
I didn't feel like going to school, so I spent my time at the park wondering about life.
I have a few people there that saw me like an old lady that feeds pigeons every day.
She's seen me; she should know
And some people are walking dogs, and I asked someone to pet them, so there are a few different witnesses there.
The officer was kind of suspicious but asked another question.
Did you find anyone suspicious at all in the park this morning?
A trigger in his memory went back to the back of his head. He did see a guy in a cloak if all that was kind of odd on the way he had told them, which was weird, and she was pretty tall.
It's also hard to ignore him when he bumps into someone
It was also weird that his instincts took one look at the cold woods, so we went in another direction.
I saw this guy with a black coat and cloak. He's about a little bit taller than me since he bumped into me hard not to notice but looked like he was in a hurry.
The officer asked, Did you see his face?
Curtis shakes his head.
They're finally at the police station, and they got some drug tests. They put him in a cell for a little bit; no one else is in there.
After a few hours, they took a few pictures.
He was labelled a suspect; he didn't know for what, but he could guess.
He explained the same situation to the other officers.
Ask them the same questions and get the same answers.
He also brought some girls up to the window, as he had guessed. She was witness to something, and she shook her head.
Knowing that she did not recognise him, as he did not recognise her.
The offer is to open the door and let him out.
His mother and father are there. well the fake ones
His mother was not amazed at all, and unglad to see him as usual.
His father wanted to give him a big hug, but he never Saw his dad see him so worried and so relieved to see him again.
He didn't want to hug him, so he just faced away.
Because he didn't want one, but mostly because it was dangerous because of what he is.
The next thing he noticed was that some more people came in and looked like officers; he recognised them too.
The next thing he knew was which one person asked and what's going on—why are you here with?
For some reason, his best friend was here.
The guy beside him looked straight into his soul.
You're one of those freaks, aren't you, he whispered?
Curtis was shocked by this. Does he know how he could know? When did he know? For how long did he know?
He asked all these questions in the side of his head; he didn't say anything.
The next shocking thing was that his mother spoke
I'm sure he is his real parents and could have been if
But I'm not 100% certain.
Witt just ran up to him and gave him a big hug.
This was unexpected. It was so sudden and also very dangerous.
It also didn't help that his neck might have been bleeding again.
He could smell it. And he could tell witts heart was racing.
Next thing you know, his best friend was crying.
I just wanted to push him away, but he was afraid that doing so would hurt him.
So you just stood there until I was dragged away by the weird officer.
I'm going to have a bit of a chat. The officer spoke to him.
Curtis just nodded. he followed him, leaving behind his best friend, who was confused, and also realised a little girl was clinging on. his leg, and his sister right beside him.
So are you on those things? The guy asked
