Curtis just cannot let this happen. His best friend must not find out and figure out a way to keep it a secret, and if he does not, who knows what he will think?
oh no oh no
Maybe he already knows. Curtis started to panic and felt like he was going to lose his mind.
You may be excused and leave the room, please, he asked him calmly and nicely.
Curtis wondered why Flint asked him to leave.
was nervous because he had to confront Blend about his vampire status. Do you think he believes him? Of course he does, why else would he be asking those questions if he didn't?
His next question for Flint was, What can he do and how can he prevent his anger from killing someone? If he bites someone else and ends up killing them,
is it against the law to bite someone? I'll clean up after your best friend; it wasn't a stranger, at least not at first, he thought it was.
Was he actually a vampire? Was he actually going to support him for helping through this through court, or was he going to be sent to jail and punished for it?
Too many questions rattled Curtis’s mind. How can he? There's no way out of this; he'll be punished for being found out.
Flint came back to the room; he left it without Curtis noticing, and of course he told Curtis unexpectedly that you are free to go, just be careful out there, bud, it's hard for us vampires.
Curtis was shocked. He thought he was in trouble. Does he not know? Does Witt not know? No, there's no way Witt must know.
Time skip to a few days later, when Curtis was back at school and so was Witt.
He was talking and hanging around the vampire boy, and Curtis was annoyed by him. Of course, his temper was short but has gotten better since he's been taking medication recommended by the doctor that the police sent him to; thankfully, it's free as in free healthcare with insurance, and the fact that his adoptive parents care enough to give him the medication or be arrested. Of course, because he has no one to have a condition, it was not confirmed what it was to his adoptive parents.
Well, more like his adoptive parents couldn't care less except for their own skin.
They didn't want to know what the condition was, so he lied about it. They didn't know what it was, but they knew he was a vampire and that he took these pills to keep him from striking out for food and prey.
He felt sick and hungry, but not for blood, thankfully, just for regular food like a normal person would, right?
Was he really a vampire? He seems human enough, but the weird part was that his fangs and sharp claws that he can control like a cat in and out of his fingers were different, and his eyes could grow red during the night. He could also hear things from miles away.
He thought this was normal for every human being, but it turns out these are vampire abilities, and he's a vampire, and this is not normal. The next thing he questioned was: are vampires considered normal and humans are not? Are there other creatures out there like werewolves and witches and stuff? No one knows.
One day he'll find out And hopefully it'll be soon. Until then, he has to figure everything out on his own. He can ask Flint for more questions if he ever meets him again, of course, but who knows he might not.
Hey buddy, Witt asked, and he was curious why his best friend was zoning out so much.
Of course, Curtis made excuses and said that he was just tired and wanted to go home and sleep.
That was a big, fat lie. Fortunately, his friend fell for it, even though he feels bad for lying, but he can't tell him, can he? I mean, he has a right to know, after all.
Maybe not about the incident, but at least know he's a vampire. He should know by now that Curtis was off and weird.
He was not normal; he was not human; he has sharp fangs when he laughs, and when he speaks. he can hear what's pretty far away, and even in a whisper, he can also sneak up on him without him noticing and being scared of crap out of him.
which is fun sometimes, but he learns to make loud footsteps on purpose to not scare his friends and other people so much he's coming up to them, because if he doesn't stomp his feet while walking, he's as quiet as a mouse.
So, Curtis, do you want to hang out this weekend, as asked? And that made Curtis nervous.
