Every story starts somewhere

And this one started in a town big or small

You see our friend wake up, makes tea from the little cardboard box

The routine will provide no adventure, no discovery

Is it another day? or is it the same day?

Is everyone going to the office or going home?

Accidentally grabs the sticky pole in the metro

A busy metropolis filled with people

The sounds mix together until its just white noise

Fading like a tv on a room far away

Who is our friend that walks between the crowd, but it feels as if it was just an empty spot

Or walking through heavy bushes

The day at the office is always filled with things to do

So many that no change is ever seen

The mail cart is allways heavy and needs a good shove to move

Just like email arrives in peoples screens without them noticing

Papers and envelopes are stacked by an invisible hand

The phones have them

The concerns bind them 

Who wont get a smile or a comment from someone resting their head between hands in desk

Everyone is busy with themselves,

Who waits for the elevator with a full cart of mail 

The Ding! from the door opening makes everyone wildly rush inside, the mail cart can wait.

And sometimes we just let ourselves be taken by the wave, like Who, noticing a sparkly feather on top of one of the books on the overfilled mail cart.

If you let yourself be taken away, why wouldnt you dare dream? 

If you let yourself be taken away, would that be living? Would you wake up?

A silent elevator door opens and Who rams the cart in. 

The cart dives and falls into the opening pulling Who with it

A sparkly feather floats in the empty space

The empty elevator lift gets filled as the elevator full of people arrives with a Ding!

Everyone comes out not even noticing the doors were open

Everyone else rushes in and the day keeps moving

A note on the wall says it is illegal to enter an elevator stall if the lift is not there law 123123

From above the metropolis murmurs loudly

If a tree falls in the middle of a forest and noone hears it

Did someone dreamed it?
