"Am I invited in?"

I find this a strange question, but awnser anyway.

"Yes of course" 

The pale boy seems to relax at these words, and enters the house without hesitation, he is very strange, but for some reason I like that, it makes me want to know more about him. He regarded the hallway for a moment then ascended the stairs.

"This is your room?"

"It-it is yes."

My room is filled with plushies and cushions, I'm afraid he might judge me, after all 18 year olds generally don't have plushies in their rooms.

"You're blushing"

Oh crap, I am blushing, I'm a little embarrassed about my room if I'm honest,  Benjamin seems like a cool guy, and me? I still keep plushies, what was I thinking I-

"I like your room."

He says this softly and gently, almost to reassure me. I thought this would stop me blushing but if anything it makes me turn even pinker. I think...I think I like him.

"You okay?"

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine, I think I'm just a bit warm that's all..."

He smiles at me warmly, but as he does I think I see a flash of a white fang protrude over his lip. I blink, and suddenly it's gone. Was it just my imagination, I don't think it was. I ask him a question 

"Benjamin?"

"Yes..."

"Do you have a fang?"

He looks slightly nervous and then collects himself.

"No, let me show you."

He smiles, showing perfectly normal teeth, but I'm not convinced. I'm sure there's something else going on. I pretend everything is okay and calm myself. "What would you like to do?

"I don't mind, but I would like to know your name."

"Oh my name it's Flora"

He looks wistful for a moment then replies in a soft and sweet voice that sends chills down my spine.

"Flora, a beautiful name, to suit a beautiful girl"

I don't know what to say I just look into his eyes for a while, we share a gaze. 

"Flora, I know it's quite early but..."

My heart flutters.

"What?"

"Would you like to be my girlfriend?"

I stare in disbelief, then I nod my head, I have no words right now.

"May I kiss you Flora?"

I lean in and the world blurs as my heart begins to race, his lips are soft and comforting, like velvet, his embrace envelopes me like a blanket on a cold winter's night.And I hold onto him and don't let go for what feels like forever.
