An Udigan-Brig teenage girl with black, long, and ponytailed hair stood before them, but her weapon was halted by Daniel. 

"Y-you're.....Humans!" She is Jenna Benson, the daughter that Carl mentioned. She stopped her acts after confirming them as the same as her.

"Ms. Benson. We're here to search and rescue all of you. It's alright, we're....." Terry starts the conversation.

"Oh Shut Up, dogs of the governments! I prefer to speak with this odd man instead of talking to you!" Jenna swore and humiliated Terry.

"Wait what?! I'm sorry what.....?!" Terry felt offended. But Daniel stopped him, hinting to him to let him deal with it. "Sorry, young lady. Sorry for the policeman who followed me, but I would like to ask you, where are your friends? Cause you know, a Vourmon is out there and we don't want to see more casualties as you did right? " Said Daniel.

"I will lead you to them but.....I demand this dog get back to where it belongs! We never trust any authorities right here!" She is still enraged about Terry.

"Calm down, Miss. At least, trust in me. I guaranteed that he won't do anything to you or your friends. With me right here, he won't do anything. So would you trust me?" Daniel continues to persuade her.

Jenna considered for a while, then she finally lay down her branch. "You said it, you take care of it." She calmed down, but still left a very hostile look at Terry and walk in the front to lead. "That tree branch is useless against them, instead it will hurt any of us. It is better to throw it away, milady....." Daniel suggests to her. Jenna throws it away with shame, blushing all over.

"What a wasted pretty face, used on a jerk. Her father would be mad for this." Terry muttered. "Ehem, if I were you I wouldn't speak any of those at the back. Don't worry, be patient and I'll handle it." Daniel calmed him down and they follow her together. After a while, they arrived at a cave and finally saw all of the survivors. The teenagers were happy that they received help but got angered in a sudden, cause they saw Terry.

"Jenna, I thought you find better help rather than the authorities! We don't know what will happen to all of us if they were in charge!" One of them said. "I tried, but this man preferred to have him together!"

"Yeah, they will shoot instead of saving us! All they want is the credit!"

"Stupid pooplice get out of here! We don't want your help!"

Terry was very angry with these teenagers, but Daniel continued to stop him. "Hello, kids! My name is Daniel, nice to meet you all! So is this all of you? Cause I'm going to plan on how can we get out of this situation....." He said.

"You dull and old-fashioned man, we won't listen unless you kicked that stupid cop out of our sight HAHAHAHA!" One of them insulted him. The rest of them laughed together.

"I'm sorry what? Okay, first of all, my clothing is inspired by two of my favorite actors. Second, he carries a shotgun doesn't always mean that he's going to BOOM! Shoot you! Lastly, we are the only ones who can get all of you to safety. Yes, you may stay. But that monster is out there, either it's me and Terry, or die here. So kids, what is your choice?" Daniel slightly raised his voice and talks a bit aggro. The group went together and discuss, then they finally got their answer.

"We accept your help, we all trusted you, so please don't fail us."

"Alright then. So first things first, the reason that the whole force didn't join me is because that thing can kill normal people easily. Also someone had to make sure that it doesn't get out from the forest and harm nearby towns or cities. So basically, I will get out there and deal with that monster and....." He begins to explain.

"No hold on! You're saying that we have to stick with the sheriff here and you go out there? No way! We had a person being bitten and someone with a gun waiting....."

"I'm a Disciple. The only person who can deal with that monster now, Terry knows the way out and he is experienced here when I'm gone. You better be good and grateful that someone risks their life to save someone like you rather than doing those shootings or discriminations you usually talk about. You'll know what I said one day, but now we're getting out of here. Is it enough for you?" Daniel interrupted him.

"Okay....." Everyone shut up immediately.

"Thank You. Good luck, Terry." Daniel left the cave and went for the Lake.

"Alright, follow me carefully. We don't want anyone to fall back or took the attention of the monster....." Terry begins evacuating them, even though they seem unwilling.

Daniel traveled down the lake with a cross-shaped pointer compass-like device. "Come on, goat. Where were you....." He already arrived at the lakeside, still searching for the beast.

"Come on, this compass had what you like! Come out, come out, where ever you are....."

"GRRRRRR....." A growling voice came from behind like a hungry beast.

"Oh.....Hello." He's back facing it.

"ROARRRRRR!!!!!" It is the Vourmon he's been looking for, and it immediately leaps toward him.

"BOOMMMM!!!!!" An explosion happens and scared the escaping group. "What was that?! Are we going to get out of here safe?!" The teenagers got panicked. "Don't worry.....We'll get out of this! Just....." Terry tried to calm them down. "Shut up, why are we even believing you guys?! We're going to die!!!" Most of them begin complaining and crying. "Ouch.....I don't think I can make it.....my hand is killing me....." Keith, whose hand was bitten also in a bad situation. "You guys.....egrh....." Jenna was frustrated.

"Oh no, what can I do? I'm not very happy about these problematic kids, not like Daniel! But....." Terry is nervous but he knows he cannot falter for this moment, he is a police officer.

"BANG!!!!!" He shot at a pile of rocks, giving a loud alert that made everyone silent and look at him. "Listen to me, whining is not going to save all of you! I'm a police officer and my duty is to make sure that all of you were safe! More importantly, it is my responsibility! So follow me closely! I'll make sure no one gets hurt!" Terry made his mind clear to the others, hoping that they will be more obedient. "By the way, Jenna. Your father awaits you, so please.....get through this together. No matter how you look at me, you and your friends have families to return to, do we have a deal?" He asked her. Jenna stopped her hostility against Terry when she heard what he said, and gave him a trusted nod.

"Thank you, come on kids! Let's make it through hell!" Terry rallied them together.

But little did he know, his gunshot had caused the attention of two figures.....

"Just a little while more, come on we can make it!" Terry continues to cheer them up. He saw Keith start to lose consciousness, he quickly went to hold him up. Jenna saw everything he did, she begin to question the beliefs that she and her friends were onto herself.

"Crack!!!" A mysterious voice appeared.

"Wait a minute! Shh!!!" Terry halt them and silenced them immediately.

One of the girls is trembling, scaring what might happen next. "Splat!" A big drip of saliva dropped on her. "AHH! WHAT THE.....?! AHHHHHH!!!!!" She yelled at something she sees.

"Stay behind me!!!" Terry quickly stands in front of them with his shotgun ready. The two figures show themselves. It is Vourmon Kid, the children of Vourmon Goat. They are smaller but that doesn't mean they are not dangerous, they are like usual kids, fast and deadly they move.

"UGHH!!!!!" Terry's left arm was injured. They didn't successfully devour him but managed to hurt him. "ROARRRR!!!!!" They roared at him, it struck right at his mind. Terry felt weak and terrified at the same time, and wanted to stop fighting. So were the others, they all collapsed and awaited death. The Vourmons slowly approach their prey, to fill their hunger.....

"Phew! At least we get out of there quickly! Jenna, we're safe!" The boy who seems to be the leader of the group brought Jenna to escape without letting anyone know. "We can go home together! Just you and me! Now we.....!?" He immediately got slapped by her with total anger. "How can you do this!!! Everyone is still in there!!! The person who is trying to save us was in danger as well!!! I may be hating the authorities, but it's too over!!! I'm going back!!!" Jenna ran back after saying her words. "Fine!!! Go and die with them!!! I will not join you all!!! Ergh!!!" He quickly escapes with all of his life.

"Is this the end.....I made a wrong choice, didn't I.....Mom, Dad.....Commander....." He tried to stand but the mind attack from the Vourmon is too powerful for a normal human like him. Terry begins to have flashbacks, about his life. "Choices, Terry.....Don't give up....." A peaceful and holy voice flew passed his mind.....Suddenly.....

"BANG!!!!!"

"AROARRR!!!!!" One of the Vourmon got shot and lost one of its legs to a powerful shotgun blast.

"Wait....." Terry stood up a bit and saw Jenna holding his gun right at the Vourmons.

"You promised my father, remember?! You must not die! You had to go back with us!!!" Jenna tried to encourage him.

"Yep.....Of course.....I.....will bring all of you back.....home!!!" He stood up completely and pulled out his pistol with determination. "RARRR!!! Let's kill these hungry and ugly jerks together!!!" Terry points his gun at them.

Jenna looked at him, then leave a smile. "I agree!" She points at them too.

"Live or let die!? Die Monsters!!!" They yelled back, which really scared back the Vourmons.

Would the Humans survive or the Vourmons have their meal?
