G.O.DS (Global Organization of Defense) (Realms of the Eleven Aspects: G.O.DS' point of view)

Chapter 5: Hero or Villain (Part 5)

Chapter 5: Hero or Villain (Part 5)

Apr 17, 2023

The armor on his head had three pairs of horns that resembled deer antlers. This owl had armor on his head that resembled a helmet armor that resembled a talons grip on his head, like a shiny black tree root that creeps up to the back of his neck, then to his back, to his tail, and also to the upper edge of his wings and continued to propagate to the upper surface of each wing. The thing that propagated through this owl's body was his armor skin, which was an extension of his body. His legs had huge, long claws covered with sharply carved armor.

Not too far from Nellson, there was another four-meter-high monster named Shinra in the form of a gigantic tiger called a tiger Yokai. A faint blue tiger with white under-chin fur and the pattern of black stripes on his face. His body was covered with black armor skin pieces with light blue and white patterns, which covered some part of his head, and he had claws on his forelegs that resembled humanoid hands with claws covered in sharply carved armor. His armor also covered the forelegs to the shoulders, to the front of the back, to the nape of the neck, and then to the sturdy carved armor on a little part of his head. This armor continues to the rear part of his body and the hind legs, where the soles of the hind paws were like tiger paws, but with claws covered in sharp, carved armors. The front half of his body resembled a stocky human body, and the back half resembled a tiger's body. This tiger's forelegs and hind legs were bigger than the tiger's in general, with armor that formed sharp carvings that stuck out fiercely.

The lower part of the tiger’s body was covered in many armor pieces connected together with sturdy armor joints that formed a shape resembling a stocky human chest. The armor on the nape of his neck to the front back part was covered with another armor in the form of sharp carvings sticking out fiercely. Additional armor in the form of sharp carvings also covered his forelegs and hind legs. His chin to his lower neck was not covered with armor skin, revealing his long, white fur. His long tail was covered in armor with rows of short blades to the right and left of the tail, and the tip was covered with spearhead-like armor. The armor on his tail was carved solidly to resemble a long dragon’s tail, and sharp carvings on the top. The four lower parts of his legs were equipped with long sword chains connected to them, and they could move freely in the air like a snake about to strike. These chains could be retracted, transformed into four swords, or extended into sword chains. These four sword chains were two times longer than this tiger’s legs.

The armor skin on this tiger Yokai’s body was like many armor pieces connected with sturdy joints to form the armor that covered many parts of his body. The joints on each armor on this tiger Yokai’s body were in a widened state, and emitted a faint blue-colored light that formed patterns all over his body. This tiger stood on all fours and stared coldly with glowing white eyes.

Ken, Suga, Yukari, along with their Yokai Asanuma, Nellson, and Shinra, were in alert and ready to fight stances. Ken and Yukari wore their school uniforms, while Suga wore his ankle-length white Yokai Controller Association overcoat with black stripe patterns that formed some symbols that extended from its sleeves to the entire overcoat, a black shirt tucked into his black trousers, a black belt, and black boots.

Ken’s hair was black, slightly long, and stylishly styled, while Yukari had long, straight black hair. The six of them were together against someone before them. Next to these monitors was another monitor that displayed a somewhat blurry and hazy image of a silhouette of a man they were against. Behind this man’s silhouette was a black shadow from some kind of five-meter-tall gigantic creature. It’s not clear who Ken, Suga, and Yukari were facing. There was a description on one of these screens.

“Current subject priority level: -Confidential-

Number of main subjects observed: -Confidential-

Confirmed current subjects: 8 (4 humans, 4 non-humans)

Current categories (enemy / non-enemy): -Confidential-

Confirmed current subject danger level possibility as an enemy: Beyond S (unmeasurable, grave danger)

(Warning: artificial intelligence detects the highest possible danger level and continues to calculate the probability. Human considerations, please report immediately).”

Hardy passed in front of this monitor and saw it momentarily. Hardy was shocked.

“Beyond S? That’s insane!”

Hardy watched these monitors carefully, trying to understand what was happening. Hardy’s expression turned serious.

“Looks like one of them triggers this alert….”

Hardy appeared to have realized something.

“Or… all of them?”

His expression then showed that he was disturbed to see that.

“Warning: artificial intelligence detects the highest possible danger level and continues to calculate the probability; human considerations, please report immediately.”

The computer systems were partially recovered and started repeating this warning message, which surprised Hardy, Raymond, and everyone here.

“Warning: artificial intelligence detects the highest possible danger level and continues to calculate the probability; human considerations, please report immediately.”

This warning message kept repeating, drawing everyone’s attention to these monitors.

In another place, Erdyn was still sitting on the top edge of a building, enjoying the night view of the city before him. He felt quite amused, stood, and walked away as he put his hands into his two black long jeans pockets to warm them because of the cold weather. Erdyn took his weapon, which now returned to the shape of a large rectangular briefcase. Erdyn took this weapon with his right hand and appeared not to feel the slightest heaviness. He rewrapped it using the black cloth folded nearby to hide the unusual shape of this large weapon. Erdyn slung his weapon on his back with a sling belt attached to it and walked away.

Arriving at the first floor of this building, Erdyn walked into a spacious parking lot around the building he had just visited earlier. This parking lot only had a few parked vehicles and was illuminated in some parts by tall lampposts. Erdyn walked to his black roadster-type motorbike, got on it, and put on a full-face helmet. Erdyn appeared to realize something; his attention was drawn to the surveillance camera installed on one of the lampposts nearby. Erdyn didn’t appear to care much about it; he closed his helmet visor and drove his motorbike away by immediately rotating his motorbike throttle almost fully in the beginning, causing his motorbike’s tires to wheel spin and rub hard against the asphalt surface of the parking lot, emitting smoke and traces of friction. He continued driving his motorbike at a speed that increased rapidly on the highway. The sound of his motorbike’s engine broke the silence of the night.

The next day, the time was 8:00 p.m. The night sky was clear and slightly cloudy without stars in sight because of the city’s bright atmosphere. Erdyn wore his clothes covered with a short-sleeved bluish-red knee-length overcoat, but he didn’t put his overcoat hood over his head. He was sitting at one of the tables on the terrace of a cafe while propping his cheek with his right hand on the table and looking at the emblem he got from Hardy yesterday with a bored expression.

On the table before Erdyn was a cup of coffee that had only been half drunk, a sugar container, and a cafe menu book. His multi-shaped weapon was wrapped in black cloth as before and leaned against the wall near him. Other cafe visitors would occasionally turn or steal glances at him because of the large object that he brought.

Sometime later, Erdyn appeared to be increasingly bored; he got up from his seat, took his large weapon, and slung it over his back. The other cafe visitors were surprised because Erdyn took this large object without appearing the least bit of heaviness. Erdyn walked away, and the people around him noticed him with astonished or confused expressions.

Erdyn walked on the sidewalk in a shopping district with a main road beside it. He put his overcoat hood over the top of his head, but still showed bangs on his forehead. Cars passed him as he passed the parallel-parked cars on the side of the road. The atmosphere was lively, with many pedestrians and vehicles passing by.

Erdyn was on patrol, keeping an eye on the city’s state around him. His presence drew the people’s attention as they walked past him because of the large object he carried on his back. Erdyn appeared to remember something; he walked closer to the wall of a nearby building and stood there. Almost everyone who passed him would turn or steal glances at him, but he didn’t pay any attention to them. He took out his smartphone and watched its screen with a hopeful expression. His expression turned deadpan.

“I thought the mysterious people at the factory would contact me soon.…”

In recent years, many disasters on Earth have been caused by people with powers beyond those of ordinary humans. A secret organization, G.O.DS. (Global Organization of Defense), was established through secret agreements between Nations worldwide and tasked with maintaining peace on Earth from the shadows. But when the greatest threat appeared, even all of their extraordinary resources couldn't overcome it. The situation reached its peak when someone who was called "The Most Powerful Superhero" turned Villain. G.O.DS tries to gather other sides willing to put aside their differences to work against him. But unbeknownst to them, G.O.DS may not be what they think... above all that, other threats were waiting for them... (G.O.DS was a novel that covered some part of the "Realms of the Eleven Aspects" story from the G.O.DS’ point of view.)

"Are you ready to reveal the secrets of Eleven Aspects?"

This novel chapter was released alternately with my other novels, which were released every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (similar to a manga magazine on my Patreon), and all of these novels could also be considered one novel as a whole (Realms of the Eleven Aspects novel) from multiple point of views. I’ll try to release more if possible because I’m still continuing to develop these novels, things like which of these should I prioritize to focus on, or should I continue to develop them together?

If you find that one of my novel titles hasn’t been updated for some time, please check the other ones currently being updated (please visit my Patreon page for more information)

For now, the chapter release time might sometimes be late, because I’m still adjusting the time, but I’ll make sure to update at least three new chapters a week. I realize that this project needs to become my full-time job to develop it further and better. I greatly appreciate your support to help me in that regard. If you think there's anything I need to improve, please let me know ^^
