It's been two days since Cathines was in the palace.  That day She got a letter from her parents, who told her not to come home till she got engaged to a nobleman. Because of this, she has been staying at a high-end inn. She's been thinking about the princess's offer and wondered what kinda person she might be. In some reincarnation books she read, the MC would encounter another person like them, but they were evil.  What if the princess was like that, and she planned to kill her off to gain power? But that wouldn’t make sense since Catherine has no power, and Charlotte is literally the crown princess. Huhhhhh. 

Maybe she should get out of her room and see what shops the capital has; maybe she could apply for some job if she doesn’t accept the princess's offer. She was honestly craving the cotton cheesecake, The shop the princess owned was called ‘Dulce’(sweet). She’s seen it, but her past self wasn’t a fan of sweets because she didn’t want to get fat in any way. God, was she so unhealthy? 

The shop was located right at the center of the capital and was always quite busy. The prices were a little expensive, but that might be because it was aimed at the female nobility.  There was a front patio with round tables and an umbrella to block the sun. The building was a three-stories. There were large glass ceilings that reached the ceiling to the bottom on the first floor. When you entered the shop, the counter was in the back to the right to make more room for the dining room.  There was a mixture of round and square tables for four people, and on the right, there were booths as well. They were two staircases, one that had an employee-only sign and one that said VIP. There were also three doors by the booth one was made of glass that led to the outdoor patio, and the other two were bathrooms. This felt very modern to Cathrine. 

There were three people by the door who would ask you where you would like to sit and how many people. They would sit you down and hand you a menu.  Catherine sat close to the counter, and so that there were many western deserts as well as others, she didn't know where they came from.  

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a red. Looking up, she saw Lady Aura. She was eating an apple and sat by the booth. It felt like she was waiting for someone since she kept looking at the door.  A lady in black then entered the cafe and headed straight to Aura. She recognized her as Lady Para, who was a follower of the prince's mother. She hated the royal family because of the death of her only son. She kept tabs on the queen for the queen consorts. WAIT! Why is Aura meeting with her? 

And then she remembered.

Aura was the reason the princess died. She was a maid that poisoned her drink. 

Is she planning on harming the princess? She might be meeting her in order to inform the queen consort. She tried to listen to what they were saying, but it was too noisy in the cafe. All she could do was watch from the corner of her eye. Lady Par then slid something to Aura and left. Aura waited a few seconds before she got up and left as well. What could she be planning, and what does that envelope hold she needed to find that out.
