Maybe he had been slightly overambitious to know the secret that held this family so close. It was clear they didn’t mind being fucked by one of his lovers, but only if it meant he was close. He didn’t have time to turn his statement into anything other than ammunition, because he had already set off a landmine known as Blaine.
Blaine approached him from behind, grabbing his glass and drinking the rest. The others weren’t sure what to make of action, his silence speaking louder than words. He placed a cold kiss on his cheek and then glared at them with an anger he hadn’t witnessed before.
“I’m only going to say this once, so listen closely. I won’t tolerate any fanatic behavior while he is here. I have indulged each and every one of you with your behaviors over the years, and I have spoiled you with my attention, have I not?” The silence was confirmation. “If you try anything, I won’t hesitate to punish any one of you.”
The lust and burning desire in their eyes died out quickly, replaced with a greed of curiosity. Blaine staked his claim, and he made it clear he wasn’t sharing without his permission. “As for you, you can sleep on the couch.” His world crashed instantly, and he knew he really fucked up this time. He tried to protest, but was interrupted again.
“If you sleep with any of them, I won’t see you for a year and I won’t sleep with you for two. Per person, understood?”
Trey knew he shouldn’t dig himself a deeper hole, but the look in his eyes and the defiance made him want to do so many naughty things to him. His dove was acting out of jealousy, and this minx wanted to sedate him.
“Understood,” he swallowed. Blaine turned to the rest of them, speaking with a firm tone.
“We will continue any business discussion tomorrow, I’m tired and want to sleep. Play nice and don’t murder anyone you’re not supposed to.”
He walked away, heading to their room alone. He assumed since he didn’t ask for him to join, he was okay leaving him alone with them. That was good, right?
“Wow, I haven’t seen our brother that angry since he took over office. You’re pretty good at pushing his buttons,” an older man responded, breaking the tension. He didn’t offer his hand, knowing Leonard was still watching.
“Dean, oldest brother.”
“Pleasure.”
“So, I’m just going to come out and ask. Being an assassin, do I need to worry about you being a risk?” Dean was in charge of general security for the entirety of the family. It made sense that he would be concerned.
“Not unless you consider my lack of experience in relationships.” With his type, Trey had learned honesty is the best policy.
“Good to know. From left to right is Magnolia, the eldest sister, Connor, the youngest brother, Justine, the youngest sister, and Olly the middle brother.”
“So, what do you all do for fun that won’t piss your brother off?” he offered.
This resulted in a game of cards, one where they placed stakes with each other’s assets. He knew it was a way for them to only learn about what he had without having to dig up dirt, even though it was useless to do so anyway due to their brother.
“What are you betting Mr. Needless?” Olly asked.
“Please, call me Nyx. We will be family soon anyway.” They all stared at him, wondering if he was serious.
“You plan on marrying our brother?” Connor asked.
“I’m not just going to marry him, I’m going to make him the only person who matters in the world. That’s what I do, I make mistakes disappear and lovers reconnect.”
“Sounds like a business pitch,” Magnolia snickered.
“It is my business pitch, one of many actually. If I bet that, you’d make millions.”
“Seriously?” Olly asked.
“Seriously. Hook, line, and sinker.”
“You should bet something more interesting, like how you and Blaine met,” Justine said on a whim.
“Why? I can just tell you.” Magnolia looked at him uncertain, not believing him for a second.
“I met your brother in a basement.”
“A basement? Why were you guys in a basement?” Justine asked, horrified.
“Well, I had gotten a contract on someone he was trying to obtain. Normally in that situation, I’d just ignore the person and complete my mission. The intriguing thought that so many men were sent to get a single guy, made me think about who it was that dirt bag had pissed off. There weren’t that many indicators, and normally there are a lot.”
“So, you ended up in a basement because you got curious?” Conner asked amused, throwing down cards as they played.
They had seemed to accept his business pitch as collateral without him having to convince them because they cared more about the story.
“Yes, and it turned out to be more fruitful than I had hoped. I never would have thought Blaine was my type nor the perfect match for my temperament.”
“He matches you? Isn’t that a little cliché?” Magnolia retorted.
“Only if you don’t believe in destiny, fate or soul mates. I admit, I didn’t think he was serious about exploring whatever we have at first. I took it as a joke, only to realize much later that it defiantly wasn’t.”
“What changed your mind?” Dean asked, winning a hand.
“My little dove got so angry, he tried to win me over.” He said it with a look of pure affection on his face, making Dean pause and stare at his face to make sure that pet name wasn’t a joke.
“What did he try to do?” Magnolia asked meekly. Seemed he had finally gotten her to submit to her curiosity.
“He tried to figure out how I pick my contracts, and proceeded to have people killed off all over the world. It didn’t matter what they did, who they were, or what influence they had.” He chuckled, remembering his tantrum clearly.
“I thought that was just a rumor, shit, he really did that?” Olly asked.
“Yep, he really did that. I couldn’t believe it until someone sent me a list they had compiled of all his targets and reasons why he targeted them. They all had something to do with me, so how I could I not get interested at that point?”
“So what happened?” Justine prompted, excited.
“I went to him, answering his most recent contract. When he saw me, he totally blew me off. Of course, this only made me want to tease him more. I just didn’t anticipate him going cold on me.”
“Well, him icing people isn’t new,” Magnolia stated.
“Yeah, I figured that such a hotshot was used to doing that. I didn’t let it happen though.”
“What did you do?” Conner asked, eager for his response. It was sort of hilarious how they were hanging on his words like words offered by Gandhi or Martin Luther King.
“I killed one of his sex partners while he was fucking him. I think we really bonded after that.” They looked at him like he was insane but were impressed, which was hilarious considering their rap sheets he had eyed over.
“Well, that is all for tonight. I’m going to try to make sure my dove doesn’t hate me in the morning.” He dropped his hand, winning the game which made the others annoyed. Then he proceeded to bed, climbing in.
“I told you to sleep on the couch,” Blaine snipped.
“Still awake? Were you waiting for me?” he breathed into his ear and kissed his neck. He pressed against his backside, his hard-on rubbing against him.
“I’m not in the mood, fuck off.”
“You’re not seriously still mad are you?” Blaine’s silence was a clear answer. Trey sighed and snuggled close to his backside.
“Not here, not with my family around.” His voice was low, mellow, like he was afraid of being heard. Was he that self-conscious, or was his relationship with them more serious than he had thought?
“Very well dove, I won’t do anything like that without your permission.” Blaine didn’t answer and drifted off as he held him in his arms. He wanted to know more, his curiosity was getting the better of him.
Once he believed he was asleep, he moved from the bed and started to look around. Sneaking was something he did well, and the likelihood of getting caught wasn’t high, or so he thought.
He was walking around the house, looking for the study when Dean appeared behind him. “So, you came out to play even though Leonard warned you?”
Trey eyed him suspiciously, but responded curtly. “How else will I get answers about my lover? He’s nervous, and that doesn’t bode over well with me.”
Dean studied him seriously for a moment, contemplating something. Then he motioned him to join him in his room, shutting the door softly to not alert the others. Trey was pressed with his back against the door, Dean leaning with his hand against it.
“How much do you really care for Blaine, no bullshit?”
“Enough to go snooping when I was told not to.”
“Enough to give yourself away to me?” he asked.
“I promised Blaine no sex without his permission, that’s a breach of trust.”
“What if he gave his permission?” There was something about the way he asked that question, that made him want to explore it. There was something there, some sort of hint lingering in between his words.
“Then I would, as long as it’s satisfying for him as well.” Dean smiled, a smile that was snake like and keen, filled with hidden intentions.
“What would you give me in return for helping you?”
“Depends on what you want.” Dean backed away and sat at his desk, accessing his laptop.
“I’m sure you’ve already picked up that our relationship is different with Blaine?”
“Yes, it isn’t overly obvious to other people, but I noticed it immediately.”
“What gave it away?” he chuckled.
“Magnolia’s actions, she asked for permission subjectively before getting a hug.” Dean stopped what he was doing and peaked over at him, “Seriously? I was expecting some elaborate explanation.”
“I read people well.”
“Is that so? Well, you probably have no idea what sort of person Blaine is or what he’s had to do to survive all these years.”
“Which is why I want to know. You naturally want to know more about someone you like, right?”
“Are you sure you’d be able to accept it though?” That was a serious question Trey hadn’t put much thought into, because he didn’t know what he was hiding.
“Yes, I think I would at least try. I’ve never met someone like Blaine, losing him wouldn’t help me in the slightest.”
“Then watch these, and I think you will start to get a grasp of what our relationship is like.” Dean presented him with the laptop, a file with tons of videos showing on the screen. He looked at Dean, wondering what his endgame was.
“If you still want to be with him after watching these, then come talk to me. I’m willing to strike up a deal.” He left, leaving him to his own devices. Trey opened up the first video, not sure what he was seeing.
After a few moments, he quickly realized the dynamic at play in the household. The videos contained some of the siblings, reenacting some sex with Blaine through someone else or doing some absurdly obsessive actions of approval. Did that mean he had possibly fucked all his siblings? Or they wanted his attention and approval so bad that they were willing to go so far? Why? What was making them drive their desire to such levels? They had a desire to keep it happening, even Magnolia wanted his child. It was clear and obvious in the videos that all they wanted was his body pressed against theirs in an intimacy siblings didn’t usually have.
It wasn’t the act that bothered him, he had seen or walked in on such behavior while working or when he visited his own home. No, what bothered him was their expressions while they were being fucked or doing the fucking. Each one of them looked like they had gotten a piece of Blaine’s affection, his heart, in some way, revealing that this matter was deeply personal and founded into the fabric of how their family was established and maintained.
Trey couldn’t ignore this, he realized he had three choices. One, he could never see Blaine again and end their relationship. Two, he could join in on their activities as a family, letting Blaine be coveted by them and learn to live with it. Though he knew if he did that, the jealousy would eat him alive until he snapped. Or three, he could put his foot down and do something they didn’t expect. They all wanted to be dominated by Blaine, but he dominated Blaine for himself. If this was a hierarchy effect going on, all he had to do was be the one on top.
