Footsteps echoes the dimly lit hallways that are littered with dirt, grime, and dust as a young man, clad with his tan jacket, a pair of dark blue jeans, and black athletic shoes wandered across the surrounding area, his expressions being confused and worry on his mind.
What is this place? The young man grumbled as he rubbed his small mop of golden blonde hair while walking within the faded white corridors. The last thing I did was going to sleep in my room before waking up in an abandoned hospital . . . or at least, something akin to one. I’m not sure if I was kidnapped in my sleep, but right now I apparently got stuck and lost within the hallways of an abandoned hospital.
As the blonde continues to wonder around, he walked past several empty rooms that have windows that were boarded up shut, knowing that any attempt to open these boarded doors could be difficult, especially without the use of tools to help break open the boards covering the windows.
Not only that, but the rooms also that don’t appear empty have doors that were bolted shut, with the young man recalling a few attempts to barge the doors open to come out in complete failure every time aside from making his shoulders feel hurt in the process.
Once the guy reaches the end of the hallway, he notices the intersection to be filled with noting but more hallways with either empty or boarded rooms.
This is getting ridiculous, the blonde groaned as he walked in-between the intersection. I’m not sure how I even got here or if I could get out of the abandoned place at this point. Even worse, I’m not sure how long I could be stuck here until either I die from hunger, or worse, dehydration. And that’s not getting in detail on how I could rest and/or use the bathroom alongside not driving myself insane in the process.
The guy decided to walk towards a nearby wall that appeared to be covered in dirt and/or grime, the color appearing to be a faded white. I could make some trail markings on the walls just to avoid getting lost, but I’m not sure if this is sanitary to say the least. Plus I need my jacket to keep the elements off of me as well.
As the young man begins to sigh, he start to hear giggling sounds coming from one of the hallways within the corridors.
“Who’s there?” The guy shouted, surprised to hear an actual voice after walking for who-knows how long in the abandoned hospital.
But with the giggling noises still echoing the hallways, the young blonde had no choice but to find the source, the isolation now starting to get on his nerves.
However, as he begins a simple walk to find the source slowly yet surely grows into a sprint as the guy continues to travel across the abandoned hospital, his feelings starting to affect his sense of judgement as he wants to find out where these noises started to come from.
While unintentionally increasing his speed, the giggling noises slowly started to become more like laughter.
A laughter that continues to get louder and louder the more the blonde reaches closer to the source.
Even as he continues to move faster, a part of him tries to tell himself that something is wrong and that it could be a trap, but with the amount of isolation slowly affecting the young man’s sense of reasoning, combined with the lack of people he finds in these hallways, the guy had no choice but to find the person that is making this noise.
Corridor after corridor the blonde started to notice he was getting closer to the source of the laughter, fear and panic starting to get on his nerves as the laughter started to become more louder and louder.
As if the laugh became more demented, more twisted, more sickening.
But more importantly, more and more insane as the young man reaches closer to where the noise is coming from, he dashes through the intersections and corridors that leads to that strange laughter.
When the guy begins to turn another corridor, he sees that the noise is becoming more louder than before, meaning that he’s getting really close to the source of this maniacal sound.
Even still, once the blonde begins to see where the person is located, he sudden stops himself in his tracks as he stares in complete shock.
The reason was noting more than witnessing an open room appeared to have the doors boarded up, making escape impossible.
Another reason?
There were a huge number of bodies littered all over the place, all of them having cuts around their bodies as blood starts pouring out of them.
In the middle, however, was a figure that appeared to be wearing a faded white straitjacket repeatedly stabbing a body in with a large knife covered in blood, laughter now coming from this person that was now in front of him.
The young man barely gagged as he witnessed this horrific display, now regretting to locate the source of this demented laughter as it echoes the open room.
As he tries to move silent yet carefully away from the deranged maniac, the mad laughter sudden stops as the figure begins to stand up and looks towards the young man, appearing to be a gaunt-like young woman with deathly pale skin, and long black hair that is both messy and unkempt.
Even worse was that she had on a full-body straitjacket covered in bloodstains while the sleeves to restrain her was broken out as she carries the large knife in her hands, her demented blue eyes staring directly at the young man’s fearful brown.
“Wow, I didn’t know I got more visitors,” the young woman chirped enthusiastically, not caring about the bodies that littered the whole area. “Aren’t you a cutie.”
The crazed woman put her hands to her to her blushing cheeks as she briefly turns her head away from the shocked blonde. “I can’t believe I found a cute young man. This makes me so happy!”
Said blonde wondered if this lady had gone crazy, especially when she was carrying a large knife and apparently killed people in this room, alongside having a straitjacket all around her.
But before the young man could walk away faster, the craze young woman snapped towards him again, her twisted smile not removed from her face.
“Darling, why are you moving away from me?” the raven-haired asked as she saunters towards him. “Aren’t you surprised at my handiwork.”
“Handiwork? You committed mass murder, that’s what!” The guy shouted, both in shocked to find a psychotic murderer in front of him, and the fact said murderer thinks she’s in love with him.
“About that,” An unstained hand rested under her chin. “These guys were so annoying, so I start stabbing and slashing them nonstop until they aren’t annoying anymore. Plus, I loved seeing them pour out lots of red from all over their bodies! Aren’t they so wonderful?”
“You’re insane!”
“Darling, that’s too kind! However, . . .” Her mood turns very dark, making the young man involuntarily gulp. “I won’t let you get away from me, even if it means stabbing you and stabbing you until you won’t even leave. Don’t worry, I can fix you up in no time, darling! So just stay with me.”
The guy stops briefly as he stared at the female with the straitjacket. “And what do you want to do to me?”
“I want to see your red, darling,” the craze raven-haired woman pulls out her knife threateningly. “Now give me your red.”
“No thanks.”
“Give me your red.”
“I better get going . . . “
“GIVE ME YOUR RED!!!!!!!!!!”
Sanity now gone dead, the crazed young woman violent charges towards the young man, who respond by running for his very life as he races to get away from the crazed straitjacket-wearing psychopath.
THIS WOMAN HAD GONE NUTS! The blonde screams internally. I DON’T KNOW HOW SHE GOT HERE OR WHY FOR THAT MATTER, BUT I DON’T WANT TO FIND OUT!
As the guy races across the corridors that intersect each other, one thing now came to his panicking mind: he needs to escape the craze young woman . . . and fast.
But as the young man continues to run for his very life, a familiar yet demented voice echoes the once abandoned hallways.
“Don’t run from me, darling,” The young woman’s voice said in a sickening sweet tone. “I will find you! Right darling!?”
The guy does his very best not to scream in panic, but that was easier said than done as he tries to find an exit to get him out of this mad place.
Especially one that houses a deranged maniac that wants to either kill him . . . or makes the blonde wish that she kills him outright.
Once he turns a corner, the young man quickly jumps back from the young woman’s vicious swing with her knife that is aiming at his chest before moving to another corridor next to him, trying to outrun the crazed maniac.
“YOU CAN’T ESCAPE FROM ME!” The raven-haired woman shouted. “I WILL HAVE YOUR RED, DARLING! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!!!”
With fear slowly clouding all sense, the blonde is completely desperate to find a way to escape the crazed maniac, knowing all too well that wrestling the blade against her despite their size differences is easier said than done given that the young woman won’t go down without a fight, alongside not wanting to get stabbed or slashed repeatedly in the process.
To make matters worse, there are moments when young man continues to move to a corridor, the young woman in the straitjacket trying to either slash or stab him without warning before going on a mad dash to hunt him down like a rabid animal searching for prey.
As the guy’s attempts to locate an exit proves fruitless, he turns a corridor and sees two large green metallic push side doors with a sign on top in bright red words that reads:
EXIT
Believing to be the way to escape the madhouse, the young man quickly catches his breath, surprised that he actually ran this far away from this crazed young woman when a sudden chill echoed behind him.
“AHA! I FOUND YOU!” The straitjacket-wearing woman screamed. “DON’T YOU ESCAPE FROM ME, DARLING!”
Without hesitation, the blonde dashes towards the exit door, pushing all his muscles in his body to get away from the murderer that is racing behind him that is gaining speed to either stab or slash him with her large knife.
But once the young man touches the large green push doors, he quickly pushes them to open as the young woman races closer towards him, murder and violence all drenched in her twisted blue eyes.
When the doors start to open . . .
The blonde sudden wakes up from his bed, all shaken up by the nightmare he just had within a mostly darken bedroom.
I was dreaming all this time. The young man wondered as sweat came around his body. But it felt so real, and I just. Never mind, it was just a bad dream, with an anticlimactic moment when I woke up.
Feeling that his mouth is getting dry alongside needing something to help him sleep better, the guy got out of his bed, revealing that he had on a grey shirt with short blue sleeves, brown lounge pants, and white socks.
I got to have some water; The blonde groaned as he opens the door . . .
. . . and sees that it was the same hallway from the dream.
Even worse was the same maniac young woman staring at him at the middle of the corridor with her crazed blue eyes.
“GIVE ME YOUR RED, DARLING!” The raven-haired woman screamed as she charges towards him with her knife in hand, making the young man screamed . . .
. . . when he wakes up again in his bed once again, shocked that it was a dream as well as he lightly slaps himself to make sure he wasn’t dreaming.
I better get some water; The blonde groaned when a sudden sense of dread prevents him from moving out of his bed. Though I’m not sure if this is still a dream or not.
