Dear Diary,

SANTIAGO DID IT OMDS. I was in the sick room after the track meet because of my right ankle, due to the bone not healing completely well, it hurt and swelled from time to time when I ran or overstressed it so I was laying on a bed in the room after receiving a massage and getting the ankle wrapped in compression bandages when I heard someone enter, I assumed it was Chris because he said he'll bring me snacks so I shouted at the person to hurry the fuck up and come lay with me, I heard the person laugh and felt the bed dip on one side, at this point, I knew it wasn't Chris so I looked to see who was with me and that's when I felt someone's lips crash into mine, the person reached out and closed my eyes and dragged me closer to them, I leaned in and realized it was definitely a girl and for some reason, I was actually enjoying the kiss and guess who it was. FREAKING ASHTON, she broke the kiss, looked into my eyes, and told me she had always wanted to do that.

She sat right in front of me, I hadn't noticed before but she had a mullet and her hair seemed to frame her face gracefully, she had visible tattoos across her arm and fingers and I guessed she had a lot more I couldn't see. When she stretched her hand to me I finally noticed her short fingernails painted black and light blue but she had no other jewelry like rings or bracelets just a single chunky wristwatch that seemed antique, when I looked up to see her face again I nearly gasped out loud she was incredibly sexy, her eyes were sharp and serious and she had a couple of piercings and as she spoke to me I could literally feel my body reacting to her voice, gosh, her accent was almost as sexy as her body and so was her name Maisie, it suited her.

I ran out of the cafeteria to have a smoke on the balcony because I simply couldn't be so close to her, it seemed all the parts of my body that seemed dead seemed to come alive in her presence, I was squirming in my seat as she spoke and she hadn't even touched me yet, " I'm definitely fucked"

"Yes you are, but you're also extremely horny right now" I jumped at the voice and looked to my left to see Chris walking towards me with an empty ziploc bag, he stood in front of me easily towering over my small figure and shook the bag in front of my face" I need this right now" I muttered to him and turned away from him, I didn't want to admit that such an insignificant and brief encounter rattled me up so much, he wanted me to put the cigarette out and put it in the bag, he hated it when I smoked it but at times  I couldn't help it.

"Rio, there's no point in doing all of this, it's absolutely stupid. If you want something get it, what the hell are you so afraid of ?" Chris huffed out, he looked like he wanted to slap sense into me but then again he always looked like that when I did silly things.

"I'm not trying to get anything, I'm not into that gay shit and you know it so stop trying to put such disgusting ideas in my head" I tried to look as mad as possible and heavily offended but I knew I couldn't fool him no matter how hard I tried. Chris snatched the cigarette out of my hand and put it out then he looked at me expectantly waiting for me to say or do something but I just felt so drained, she seemed interested in me and she seemed so damn confident, she reminded me of Ashton in our early stages.

I sat down on the floor and patted the space beside me for Chris to sit down, he sighed and dropped to the spot I patted and rested his back on the wall as I rested my head on his lap, the new girl really brought back memories of Ashton and I from before and I wasn't too fond of that.

Almost a year earlier

It's Ronnie's birthday and he's turning 18 so he's finally a legal adult, he's one of the oldest in his set as he's a year older but he's so sweet and we're planning a party for him at the beach house my parents just got me, he's in the set above mine so my short queen the lovely Ash is helping me get everything ready along with my friends and some people from her set, she's been asking me why I call Ronen "Ronnie" and I was like it's cute and all but she just laughed at me and told me I was silly. We were all currently at the beach house and Ashton, Santiago and I were upstairs in the master bedroom trying to make a guest list.

" Riona, we can't invite your brother just because you have a feeling he has a crush on him, and besides even if he does don't you think it'll just make him nervous and upset that you did that behind his back considering the fact he never actually told you he had a crush on him" Santiago huffed out looking frustrated as he tried to explain to me a fourth time why inviting my amazing brother would be a bad idea, Lou is just 7 years older than me and 4 years older than Ronnie but I know they are meant to be because Ronnie looks at my brother like he's the world and I just need to convince Lou that Ronnie is amazing as well.

"Santi, Santi, Santi, you're so little minded, just because he hasn't told me he likes him doesn't mean I don't know he's head over heels for my brother and now would be the perfect time to set them up 'cause Lou is single and he's really ready to mingle, Ash darling, don't you think my idea is amazing ?"

I turned to get Ashton's response only to find out she was already looking at me, the paper she was writing on seemed to be discarded to the side, and she had propped herself up to look at me, once she realized I was staring back at her though she quickly picked up her paper and acted busy.

" Uhhh, yh I think your idea is great babe but to be fair Santi has a point, you can't just force a relationship and you can't shove your brother at him on his birthday, that's too nerve-wracking"

I dropped the pen in my hand and stared straight at Ashton, I turned away and leaned into Santiago's ear. " Did she just call me babe ?" Santiago rolled his eyes and scoffed before looking away but I felt like I was on cloud nine, firstly I had caught her staring at me and then she subconsciously called me babe, I was really giddy but I acted as though it didn't bother me, just in case it was an actual mistake.

At the end of the day, we had compiled the guest list and unfortunately, my dear brother didn't make the cut. Santi went downstairs to get drinks for the 3 of us from the fridge and to find out how everyone else was doing, we had told them not to disturb us so no one had come to check up on us, and with him gone Ash and I were left in the room by ourselves and honestly, I was both excited and nervous, I had caught her stealing glances at me the whole time and we had been talking for almost 2 months but we hadn't done anything since the kiss we shared at the sick room.

" You look really pretty today, seeing you in makeup is different but still you look beautiful any way" I looked at Ashton as she spoke and remembered I had a full face of makeup, I had let Mahika do my makeup because I had lost a bet and she said she loved my facial structure but I felt uncomfortable because it wasn't my thing but receiving a compliment form Ashton boosted my self-esteem.

"Thank you, darling, I was a bit skeptical but you just made me feel better" I got comfortable on the bed and noticed that she seemed to watch my every movement so I patted the spot beside me." You can move closer so you can be comfortable". She moved closer and placed her hand on my thigh and at that moment the only thing that was going through my mind was her hand gently rubbing my thigh.
