The next morning
Nicole says, "Yo! Good morning!!!!!
Laura replies, "Morning!!!"
"Oh, by the way, do you think he's gonna come today? I mean the class is about to start", says Nicole.
"Why do you gotta worry so much? If he comes, he can just sit at the corner. Don't bother", says Laura.
Bell rings and before professor enters the room "that guy" enters the class wearing a black hoddie with a black jeans along with baggy eyes and a black framed spectacles. Everybody starts staring at him as soon as he starts approaching Nicole and Laura.
The guy : Umm, if you don't mind, can i please sit beside the window? I am sleepy and i don't want to get caught by professor.
Laura : Sure!
Nicole : Oh! By the way, we haven't introduced ourselves, have we? My name's Nicole and hers is Laura. What's your name?
The guy : My name is Karl
Nicole : Haha, finally we have your name. Now we don't have bother by remembering you as " THAT GUY".
Karl : * laughs* You guys seem really close. How often do you hang out?
Laura & Nicole : Well well well, just a year *giggles*
Karl : Wow! That's great. Now i am envious.
Nicole : Ah, right! By the way, do you not know anyone here? I mean any acquaintances or friends... you know?
Karl : Uh, no! I actually joined this year so i don't know anybody here.
Laura : Well, that's unfortunate. But it's okay you can hang out with us!!
Nicole : YESSS!
Karl : Thanks guys!
After some small talks, they start exchanging their numbers and get closer. As days passes by, They become very close and starts hanging out to watch movies and also do study sessions. But one day as Laura was alone in the library and Nicole swamped with her tuition she texted Karl on a whim expecting to get a no reply soon but she soon receives a reply.
*Text says*
Laura : Hey! How are ya?
Karl : Hi! I am good. How are you? I was just gonna get some groceries.
Nicole peeking at the messages says to Laura, " wait, does he stay alone? Text him and ask where he is". Laura instead says, " you done with your tuition? You said it was gonna stay late, no?". "Ahh, well. Yes, it would have been but sir just called in and said he has some work to do and so i left early", said Nicole.
Laura : Do you need any help? If you are nearby we can accompany you.
Karl : I don't want to burden you but that would be great. Could you come to xxxxxxxxx,xxxx,___7789
Laura : Yeah, will be there in 20.
Laura and Nicole reaches the super market and calls him
Karl : Hey, Come on up. Let me introduce someone.
This is my mom, Samantha.
Samantha : Oh my, how gorgeous you two are. *Touches their faces with her hands to feel their skin texture*. You must be my lil boys friends.
Karl : *whispers* oh, sorry! You two must be confused as she wore goggles. Mom is blind since she was 27 and since then she has worn goggles. That's why I accompany her everywhere.
Nicole : Oh, By the way, auntie you look so sexy and hella fine at this age too.
Samantha : Oh my my, Of course i am! I like you, you are just like me. I see a younger version of me in you.
Laura : Hey auntie, i was wondering what other things you might need so i can go and grab and meanwhile you can catch a breather with Nicole.
Karl : Hey. It's okay. You don't have to do this. I was anyway here to do that.
Samantha : Okay, so why don't you both go together and do the rest of the shopping?
Samantha and Nicole continues their chit chat and on the other hand, Karl and Laura starts their shopping.
Laura : So, how has it been with auntie?
Karl : Ah! You mean how she manages herself? I honestly don't know. She doesn't even need my help. He has always been independent and that's why I never leave her alone and always support her.
Laura : To be honestly, my impression on you was so wrong that i feel embarrassed right now. I mean i thought you would be notorious and a bad guy but turns out you are so down to earth. I like it because this is new.
Karl : Haha, everybody seems to have that impression on me. I guess it's because how i look. But yeah you know what they say, "you can't judge a person by their looks".
Laura : Yeah, looks like it!
Karl : Looks like the list has come to an end.
Karl and Laura finishes shopping and as they start approaching the counter Karl gives her a chocolate for helping him with his chores and says, " but i knew you were gonna be kind just as i imagined ".
Confused Laura blushed and accepted the chocolate and approached the counter for billing.
Nicole : Done?
Laura : yeah!
Samantha : Oh my goodness, thank you so much dear. I had fun with you both. Karl, make sure to invite them over some day for dinner.
Nicole : I will be waiting! Well, it was nice to meet you Ms. Samantha. See you around.
Laura : Bye! See you around auntie.
Karl & Samantha : Bye!! And Thanks for spending the day with us.
Laura and Nicole leaves the super market and be on their way to home. Likewise the same with Karl and Samantha carrying their groceries towards their car.
