When he drew close to her, she stabbed him in the neck with the scissors out of panic. Blood began to splatter in all directions... Her delicate freckled face was smeared with blood. Her white wedding gown turned bright red on her chest area as she looked down at Matias, who had collapsed and cried out for aid, gasping for air. Marina started grinning awkwardly as tears streamed down her cheeks. She was pleased with herself for stabbing him and watching him suffer in his final moments. The girl enjoyed him suffering the same way he made her, it felt like a wonderful feeling. "H-h-help m-m—" Matias tried speaking but he was running out of breath. The girl looked down at him in that moment and gave him nothing but a dead look. She sat down on top of him, tightly held her scissors and stabbed him in the heart. She was humiliated enough by the man. He was dead in a matter of seconds, with no indications of life, and it was impossible for him to have survived the scissors wound.
Her bedrooms floor became a puddle of blood. The blood started coming all the way to where she was standing. Marina froze, she looked at her hands that were bloody, unable to believe she had once again killed someone. She knelt down on her knees and kept looking at his dead body "I cared about you! Why did you do this to me!?" Marina screamed at him. This was the final straw. When the public finds out, she'll be arrested and her entire family will be humiliated. She didn't want others to look down on her parents because they didn't deserve it. It's all because of Her. Marina was on the verge of passing out as the blood began to flow faster and faster, the scent disgusting her, and she couldn't breathe.
She didn't know what to do anymore; everyone was expecting her and Matias to arrive and marry right away.
"I can't come down there and say how he tried to get me to bed without my permission, I killed him because of it. Therefore there won't be a wedding!" she nervously wide smiled and sobbed, trying to come up with anything to say. She kept frantically circling in her room, leaving trays of blood on the floor, wondering and thinking of ways to solve all of her issues, and she chose the riskiest and most immature option possible:
Running away
She had no choice but to hide for a while until things calmed down. she looked around her room, wondering if she had any more time to change. Marina took a red-colored handkerchief from Matias dark navy blue suit's pocket and wiped the crimson from her face while staring in the mirror, looking cold and lifeless in her eyes. She searched her room for some precious jewelry to have Incase she needs to exchange money for possible occasion. She finished it all and then took her animals, Caesar and Blu outside her room so they wouldn't be terrified. The girl walked quickly towards the exit, closing the doors behind her and wishing to never come back to her bedroom.
She locked the doors three times as she closed them behind her, just in case. She sighed and leaned against the doors, unsure of what to do next. Should she really run away? Should she bite her tongue and go public with her murder of her fiancé, risking severe repercussions. She was unsure, and all she could think of at the time was whether anyone was nearby so she could sneak out of the house discreetly.
She inhaled deeply and clenched her fist, forming a deep crescent moon symbol on her palm due to her fingernails. She adjusted the cloak's hood and began walking quickly.
Every step she took left a crimson footprint on the floor, indicating the direction and destination of her walk. She didn't change her heels since she didn't know there's still fresh blood on them, and proceeded on her way nervously.
