Margherita and Marina ended up having a brief conversation. The old woman had inquired;
"What did the captain tell you to do?" Marina is a young wealthy looking girl, so she doubted she had ever done a physical job, she inquired.
She said, "Cleaning the decks. Although he was quite rude to me. The old woman looked at her "I'm sure he was maybe having a bad day. You'll probably be friendlier eventually." Margherita said, putting her hand on Marina's shoulder. Marina became angry at the thought of even having to talk to him. "There is absolutely no way that will ever happen, he insulted me too much." she said anxiously.
"Whatever you say." Margherita rolled her eyes. "Also, about your dress. Care to explain?"
"Ah, you know...wine." Margherita considered that the most heinous falsehood she had ever heard. But she opted to remain mute and avoid putting any pressure on her because she appeared to have had an incredibly difficult and stressful day. Marina began to undress after an awkward chat and tossed her bridal gown into a chest full of other things. She was provided a nightgown to go rest in because she wouldn't be working today and it would be pointless for her to start dressed up in something heavy. She spent the remainder of the day in the cabin, chatting with the other ladies and getting to know them better, which helped her relax and feel more at ease. Until it was time for the night.
Marina was sleeping on the ship for the first time when night fell. She was already homesick, and the bed was too little; she was used to her king-sized bed, which she considered to be the most comfortable item on the planet. She kept groaning due to the fact that she had to sleep on such bed that wasn't up to her standards. The bed that feels like she is lying on a pile of rocks, perhaps even rocks are more comfortable than the bed. She couldn't sleep since she kept turning around all night. When she closed her eyes, all she could see was herself murdering Matias. She'll never be able to forgive herself for what she's done. To calm herself down, she extended her right hand and touched her brother's ring. It made her feel better, but she ended up crying. She couldn't cry out loud because she didn't want to wake anyone else up, so she had to cry quietly, which made her cry even harder because she couldn't cry naturally. What has become of her life?
She fled from her homeland, murdered her fiancé, and then became a cleaning lady all at once. She was also forced to sleep in a filthy wooden bed with a flat mattress and no private room. The girl sincerely hoped that the next day would be better. She eventually became tired and fell asleep after an hour of crying and regretting her life choices and the person she had become. A murderer.
