"There's nothing to see here, leave," one of the guys shouted.
There were four in a circle around the boy. The only thing that distinguished them was the placement of their white hair highlights. One had the front, one had the back, one had it left and the last one had it on the right side.
"Are they like us?" Nikki wonders.
"Looks like that, like Garrett stated, it's not that difficult to distinguish our kind," Shawn replied.
Despite his surroundings, the boy appeared calm and relaxed.
"What do you guys want?" the boy asked.
"The thing you're holding," one of the guys stated.
"This?" the boy asks, lifting the bag. "It's just...trash; why would you want it?" he asked.
"Well... you know... food?"
"Food? Can I have one?" Shawn interrupted.
"No!" exclaimed the four, as well as Ian and Nikki.
"Are you guys hungry?" asked the boy innocently. The four of them nodded.
"Me too." Shawn raised his hands but was snatched by Ian.
"If that is the case then we're off then and yeah... good luck," Ian said as he dragged Nikki and Shawn away.
"Hey, I have food, you may eat those but not these trash," the boy said, and the four smiles upon hearing it.
"Me too! I'd like to go. Where?! " Shawn fought Ian's grip and wanted to run back to the boy.
"Let's go to my house."
"Let's go!" Shawn said, but was tugged back by Ian.
"Shawn, no! If the moon can't see you, you'll change into a normal cat. If that human sees it, what will happen? They'll definitely experiment on you and your ass." Ian said quietly to Shawn. The two children, as well as the four guys who heard it, were horrified. Their expressions were disheartened and hopeless.
"Why? What's the problem?" the boy asked.
"We can't come to your place. We'd like to, but we can't."
"Why?" he asked again but later on realized it.
"Don't worry, my granny has a cat," all of them were confused by the boy's words.
