"What's your name hunter?" Alpha Fallon asked in a gruff voice leaving nothing for Jager to discover of him.

"Why?" asked a barely consious Jager who was struggling to remember what to do in this situation.

He takes a step closer to the tied up man stepping into the light in the center of the dark room, "because you are my son's mate I would like to know your name." He added an edge to his voice to try to push the question.

"Jager." he tried to look around but only saw darkness beyond the light shinning on him. But his exploration halted when he processed what the large werewolf said snapping his head back to him, "mate? Whose mate?" Jager struggled to understand what this beast could be talking about, "I don't have a mate and we 'humans' don't use the term mate so I don't know what you're talking about." He looked down away from the man trying not to panic. Never in his life had he been more afraid. This man must be the Alpha thought Jager because there was no way any other werewolf would have such an intimidating aura. 

Daire (that's his first name) sighed as he pulled a chair from the darkness to sit in front of Jager, "nevermind I'll talk to you about that later, for now I want to understand somethings about you because I know it can be different with young hunters than with your superiors." 

This brought Jager's attention back to the werewolf he had now nicknamed Chunky in his mind since he didn't know his name yet. "So," Chunky began, "what's your true opinion of werewolves. and don't be afraid to tell the truth because you won't be leaving this territory so there won't be your clan to punish you for talking. And if you refuse to talk... well.. we can make different arangments." Daire gave Jager a rather off putting smile and the sound of low growling could be heard coming from the darkness around them.

Jager took a second to swallow, "right well um..." he coughs sweat running down his face, "I guess I have no choice then." He takes a second to arange his words then swallows what little pride he had towards his clan, "I don't really know." 

This answere visibly through Daire off, "ellaborate for me."

Jager thought for a second on what he really had against werewolves, "well as the son of a family of hunters I guess I'm supposed to hate them I mean you aren't human and the clan says that means you're a monster but the clan never told us that you guys have human forms. They told us that you had mangled half human half werewolf forms and that you're supposed to look monsterous in that form but I have yet to see something like that from any of the werewolves I've seen." Jager shrugged, "to be honest if I were to really think about it if I am truley not going back to the clan and they can't come kill me then well I guess if you are what I've seen then I'd say that I don't really have anything against you unless you give me a reason to be. I mean I can understand why I'm tied up and was basically kidnapped." He lifts his bound hands to demonstrate, "I think it's something that the clan would have done if the roles were reversed only I have no dought that the clan would have killed me if I was a werewolf." 

He pauses trying to pull together the side of him that told him these creaters were evil so he could dash it from his brain. Jager had come to the realization that they were reasonable. They didn't kill him which could mean one of two things. One, they are truely kind or two they need him for this mate thing or of course a mixture of both. That meant that if he cooperated he could stay alive even if he wasn't aloud to leave. At least he would be alive. Plus he didn't think it would be that bad dating a werewolf if they were this attractive like damn! 

Daire nodded having made up his mind. "Well then I think we can come to an agreement then." He smiled.

The deal was that I was to go on a series of dates with the Alpha's son until I fell in love with him I guess? Aparently it's supposed to come naturally since we're fated to be together or somehting like that. This werewolf stuff is really confusing. But either way the first thing that happened after I was 'released' was that I was freshly clothed and put into a large bedroom with dark blue walls. They then instructed me to wait until someone came for me. So that's what I've been doing for the past few hours. Even managed to take a nap.

Then after what felt like two more hours of waiting a cute boy who said he was a beta instead of telling me his name started to explain to me what was causing the delay stating that the Alpha felt I deserved to know what my future mate was like. 

Apparently Finn the omega werewolf from before was the Alpha's son which cleared up a lot of things for me. But Finn was apparently convinced when he woke up that his father had killed me which sent him into what the 'beta' called an 'instinct induced frensy' that involved a long game of tag in wich most of the pack would try to catch the destressed omega in order to calm his wolf down enough in order to explain. This had been going on the entire time I had been waiting which left little hope for my future sanity with the Alpha's son. However the beta did his best to assure me that Finn is rarely like this and that he's usually very docile but that his wolf just has a tendency to overreact. I didn't quite understand the last part of what he said so I held on to the first. 

It was an hour after the explanation that the door would finally burst open to reveal a wild eyed Finn staring dead strait at me. "He wouldn't believe that you were alive" was the only explination I recieved from Alpha Fallon as Finn rushed towards me and forced me into a bone breaking hug. 

"Uh hi?" was all I managed to say from what littel air I had left from Finn's bone crushing embrace. Thankfully it seems the game of tag had finally worn him out because he quickly went limp in my lap as his breathing settled into steady breaths. 

A woman with the same light brown hair as Finn walked into the room to gather Finn into her arms, "I apologize for the wait young man but it seems that there won't be a date with you and my son today since the day is now gone." This brought my eyes up to her and I fought to not let my anger peek through, "but I guess that will make us somewhat even for you ruining my sons beautiful hand." Her face held kindness but it did not match her eyes. I looked down knowing that what she said was fair. "But let it be water under the bridge now because you will be part of our family soon but for now welcome to our home Jager please enjoy your stay."

With that she left and I thought a lot about what she said and about Finn's face as he burst through the door. Eyes wild with grief then alight with releaf. Whatever this mate bond was it was strong for him that was for sure even if I couldn't feel it yet. And if I value my life I can't hurt him.. well not that I want to anyway it's just easy for me to hurt people wether I want to or not. I don't want to hurt him and I'll have a world of hurt coming if I do. His families underlying hostility was proof of that.
