I made it outside and everything came up. I threw up on the sidewalk. My breathing became heavy and I looked back inside. What would have done this? And how come no one else has noticed the situation? I stood up straight and took a deep breath. Why did Jun want me to see her if her office was like that? Did he know about this? After running back inside, I retreated to her office for further investigation.
I looked around the lobby first. No one was around. Must still be in the breakroom. I took a deep breath and stepped back into her office. The whole place was clean. I widened my eyes and looked around. What the hell?! Where's all the blood?!I ran around the room and examined it carefully. As I examined, I smelled something. I inhaled the strange scent in the air. Bleach.
The scent of bleach now filled the air. So I'm not going crazy. Someone must have cleaned as soon as I left the room. But how did they do this so quickly? And who? So many questions filled my head. I need to find out who did this. But what happens if someone comes to find the boss? My attention was drawn to a note on her desk after I looked around more closely. I looked at it.
It read "Out For Family Issues. Take The Week Off." I stared at it in disbelief. Why was this not hung up by the person who made it?Were they aware that I would be returning?I squinted my eyes a bit then grabbed the note. Despite the fact that I did not take the time to examine the handwriting, I don't really know what other employees' handwriting looks like, so it would be of no use to do so.
I hung the note on the door. Mentally slapping myself, I shook my head.Am I really covering up a murder?Wouldn't it be better if I handed this over to the police instead of investigating it myself? I could get into a lot of trouble for this. I sighed. The feeling of nausea in my stomach hasn't gone away. I couldn't believe I was really doing something like this. God I feel like I'm about to throw up again... I held my hand over my mouth preparing for it, but thankfully nothing came up.
