The next day, the group at the farm woke up to a thick fog that had settled over the land. Sarah could barely see a few feet in front of her as she stepped outside to check on the livestock.

As she made her way to the barn, she heard a strange noise coming from the direction of the woods. It sounded like a low growling, but she couldn't be sure.

Sarah quickly grabbed her shotgun and made her way towards the woods. The rest of the group followed closely behind her, armed and ready for anything.

As they entered the woods, the fog grew thicker, making it even harder to see. Sarah led the way, scanning the area for any signs of danger.

Suddenly, the group was ambushed by a pack of zombies. They had been hiding in the fog, waiting for their prey to come close enough for them to attack.

Just as the group was about to be overwhelmed, Sarah saw a figure emerge from the fog. It was a woman, dressed in black with a bandana covering her face.

The woman started to fight alongside the group, her movements fluid and precise. She seemed to know exactly how to take down the zombies, and soon the group began to gain the upper hand.

Finally, the last zombie was defeated, and the group was able to catch their breath. Sarah turned to the woman in black.

"Who are you?" she asked.

The woman removed her bandana, revealing a scarred face and piercing blue eyes.

"I'm Raven," she said. "And I've been watching you."

Sarah felt a chill run down her spine. She wasn't sure if she could trust this woman, but she knew that they needed all the help they could get in this new world.

"Thank you for your help," Sarah said. "But why were those zombies different? Have you seen anything like that before?"

Raven's face grew dark. "Yes, I have. Those were not ordinary zombies. They're part of a new breed, created by a group of scientists who were trying to find a cure for the zombie virus. But they only made things worse. Those zombies are stronger, faster, and more dangerous than any we've seen before."

Sarah felt a sense of dread wash over her. If Raven was right, then this new breed of zombies posed a greater threat than anything they had faced before.

"We need to warn others," Sarah said. "We can't let this new threat catch anyone off guard."

Raven nodded in agreement. "I'll help you. But first, we need to get back to your farm and come up with a plan."
