Chapter 13:

“Ray Pov”

“Woah!! Its… huge!!” I said as I looked at the massive air ship docked in-front of me. If I were to compare ourselves and the ship, I would say that, we are the ants who are staring the elephant.

I turned to Mr. Walt, our employer and said, “Mr Walt… You’re rich… Ouch! What!?” I turned to the person who hit me, “Don’t be rude. Manner yourself.” Said Cale, who stood side by side with Ashu.

“Ha-ha, don’t worry, I don’t mid it. Well, to answer your question, yes, our family is particularly well of. It’s all because of my grandfather, he was a travelling merchant, he would travel all over the 197 planets and buy all sort of merchandise to sell them here”   Said Mr Walt.

“You seem to admire your grandfather,  the way you speak about him?” Said Ashu.

“Oh! Yes, absolutely, you see, my dream is to vist all 197 planets and explore them once, before I die.” Said Mr Walt.

With that, we climbed, the stairs to abord the ship, Cale, Ashu and I followed Mr Walt, with our heavy backpacks. They were so heavy that I asked Ashu, ‘what the heck he put in these.’

He replied with just a one word, ‘Essentials.’ As we made our way at the deck, we were welcomed by a white afro haired, old fellow with a round glasses, rested at his nose, and all dressed in black.   

He gave us a thirty-degree formal silent bow, “Mr Frost, from now on these gentlemen here will be the ones who would be guarding us at our journey.”

“ Gentlemen, this here is our family butler, He who served my father, and someone I consider as a family.”

“Hello!” Said Ashu, as all three us too gave a formal bow.

“Mr Frost, please treat these gentlemen as our guest and lead them to their quarters.” Said Mr Walt.

“As you wish, my lord. Please come this way.” Said Mr Frost. As he respectably gestured at us to follow him.

Before moving, Cale asked, “At what time we are leaving?”

“Now, probably, but first I need to check if we have enough supplies for our travel, but max to max, I say by six in the evening, we would take off. Why, is there something you need?”

“No, just asking. Please can you tell us, are their any other people other than us on this ship?” Said Cale

“No, Mr Frost was the one who helped me escape my planet, he knew my life was in danger so, he and I secretly took one of my personal ships to escape in the middle of the night, we didn’t at that time who was on our side or who is on enemy side, so I had to be careful, that’s why I didn’t brought anyone with me.” Said Mr Walt.

“Okay, one last question, if you don’t mind, how much time would it take us to reach your planet and what’s the plan after that?”

“That’s two questions, but I don’t mind, you see, for the first question, I would say, it would take us about 3 days, combining that we might stop here and there to rest-stock our supplies.”

“And the answer for your second question, why don’t we discuss it at the dinner table? You guys should first get more comfortable.”

 “Okay,” said Cale.

And with that all three of started following, Mr Frost, this vessel is quite big, as it took 10 min or so to arrive at our respected rooms.

“Is this of your liking, sir?” asked Mr Frost with a pleasant sweet smile.

“Yes. And please, you don’t have use formalities with us, you could use our name. we don’t mind.”

“As you wish, si.. Mr Ashu, if you need anything, feel free to inform me.” After saying that Mr Frost, walked away.

Cale and I started inspecting our rooms, thoroughly, “What are you doing?” Ashu asked as we flipped everything upside down.

“Checking, we don’t any incident on our hand now do we, better safe than sorry.” Said Cale.

After half an hour so, we completely unpacked our belongings and boy, I finally got know what ‘essentials’ Ashu was talking about.

“Why you! How many books did brought with you!?” I asked as the piles of books stacked over one another.

“Well I need something to pass my time, so…” He replied.

“Pass time, I think you’re forgetting we are on a mission, sigh… And you! Why in the gods name did you brought so many weapons with you? Are going to sell them on whole sale or what?”

“…Mind your own damn business, four eyes.” Something ticked me, not the name calling. I’m not that childish, no. what ticked was the person who was calling names.

“Sure Mr forehead. Don’t come crying to me when you’re in need of money, because you’re getting none of it. Not a single penny.” I replied, with a smirk on my face.

“Why you!!”

“Guys-Guys, chill out. Now that we unpacked everything, how about we watch tv or somethings to get our minds off.” Said Ashu.

“No, I’m going for a bath. I feel so sweaty.” I took my towel, soap and my cloths from our luggage and made my way to the bathroom.

“Ashu Pov”

“Ugh… I’m so hungry…” I said as I stared at television. My stomach started making odd noises.

“Its funny that you didn’t packed a single thing to eat.” Said Ray, as he held one of my books his hand, while flipping pages after pages.

“Well, it kind a slipped out of my mind...”

“Mr Ashu, please come with your friend’s, dinner is ready.”

“Finally!” all three us stopped what we were doing and stood up, we wore our foot wears, our masks and opened the door.

We made our way to the dinning hall, as we followed Mr Frost. The interior of this ship is quite something.

There’s a huge fish tank as well as a big armoury filled with all sorts of equipment’s.

Outside the window, I saw clouds floating away like a cotton floating in the pond. I felt no turbulence what so ever, the ride was so smooth that I, for a second thought we were still docked at the ground.

“How much time would it take us, to reach the tower.” I asked.

“Few more hours, with the speed we are going, we will reach the grand tower by 7 pm.” said Mr Frost.

“Wont we need to go through a security checking before entering the tower, I presume it will take us half a day.”  Asked Ray.

“Not quite, you see the inspection officer that we’ll meet at the check point, is someone Master Walt knows. He’ll help us making the process quite fast.”

“Oh!” with that we reached the dining hall, there we see Mr Walt placing dishes on the table, at same time giving his attention to the soup he was stirring.

He took out the rooster from the oven and placed it on the table.  He glanced our way and with a joyful smile he called out to us, “Please come sit, dinner is almost ready.” Looking at him, I was finding difficult to understand this man, just how much trust he has on us.

I mean he knows, his life is in danger, still I find no ounce of fear and tension on his face. it was difficult to get a  read on him. ‘Well, he’s a politician alright’ I thought to myself, as hide his emotion quite perfectly.

“Do you need any help?” I asked as Mr Walt held the hot pot of soup from the stove,

“Thankyou for asking but please have a sit, I’m almost done.” And with that all 5 of sat at dinning table, and hence started eating.

“How is it? Is it your liking?” asked Mr walt.

“Yes, it’s wonderful, quite delicious.” Said Ray. While Cale and I gave a node with a pleasant smile.

It really was quite tasty.

“So, about the plan, Mr Walt. Do you have anything in mind?” Asked Cale, as he cuts the meat with a knife and a fork and placing in the Mr Walts plate.

“Thankyou, and yes. But for that we first must meet a person name Ronin Blanc. A childhood friend of mine, he’s someone I trust.”

“Where we’ll meet this person?” Asked Ray, as chew the food in his mouth.

“…That’s the problem, currently he is in the prison of our planet. Our first task is to free him,”

“Why was he arrested?” I asked.

“My political rival, he’s the one who framed my friend. He used my friend as a scape goat. According to my investigation, I found out that my political rival ‘Brandon Kawasaki’ had tied with Aires family.”

“Together with them, he started illegal drug trading on our planet. He disguised the whole thing as someone else pulling the string. But you may already know how strict drug consumption law is in our universe. NTA got wind of  it, and visited our planet. They conducted a thorough investigation, during investigation they found 5 ton of coke packed inside the Gray Tuna shark.”

“The fishery thats responsible for distribution, is under my friends jurisdiction. NTA caught the supplier, because of the evidence that were against him.”

“I know, no I was quite sure of it, my friend couldn’t possibly do that. That’s why I started my own separate investigation, and rest you already aware of.”

“Now he is in prison, If my political rival wins the election by any chance, than it places our planets under one of territories of Aries family. It will be the diaster for our people.
