After its earth-shaking entrance, the colossal robot saw Ethan & Tony fleeing off into the distance and began chasing after them, a deep BOOOM echoed with every step that the colossal robot took. “Now that I get a good look at it, it looks like a transformer,” said Tony while running for his life.

Ethan looked back, “Oh it actually does, BUT NOW IS NOT THE TIME! We need to focus on escaping that thing,” said Ethan as they both continued fleeing through the landscape. They reached a forest which made it hard for them to move swiftly but they still managed.

The colossal robot decided to change its approach as it slowly closed the gap between it and them. The colossal robot detached two colossal swords from its back and used electromagnetism to manipulate the swords then it launched the colossal swords at Ethan & Tony. Ethan looks back and barely sees the colossal swords coming towards him at high speed, “Incoming!” as he quickly swerved left to avoid the colossal swords, Tony looked back and instantly dodged the colossal swords as they just missed Tony’s body but the impact from the colossal swords landing caused the ground to rumble which made Tony lose balance immobilizing him momentarily. 

The colossal robot saw this opportunity, he swiftly rushed in, picked up a colossal sword, and swung it at Tony who couldn’t do anything to move. As the colossal sword was about to make impact, Ethan zoomed in and tackled Tony out of the way of the colossal sword but they were still blown away by the force from the impact of the colossal sword hitting the ground. While they were being blown away, Ethan recovered in mid-air with his hover shoes and went after Tony.

The colossal robot saw that it missed them so it powered up its electromagnetic cannon in its arm, Ethan caught Tony and hovered away with him. Tony looked behind Ethan and saw the colossal robot powering up its cannon, “Err Ethan you might wanna quickly do some evasive manoeuvre.” Ethan looked back and BANG as the electromagnetic cannon went off. An electromagnetic beam shot out of the cannon roaring SHWROOOOOOOOMM. In that split second, Ethan saw a quantum rift and reached out to it. When he touched the quantum rift, he and Tony were teleported away from the electromagnetic beam that obliterated everything in its path causing a massive explosion.

When Ethan & Tony came out of the quantum realm, they found themselves on a cliff outside the forest which was not far from the colossal robot. Ethan was elated as he realized that his hypothesis was correct, “So the quantum rifts here are connected. Instead of teleporting you to another world, some quantum rifts just teleport you to another area within the current world. This is a good discovery for us,” said Ethan as the colossal robot noticed them.

“If that’s the case, can we use them to escape to an area that’s far from this thing?” asks Tony. 

“Yes, but we don’t need to,” said Ethan.

“What do mean?” asks Tony.

“Because right now, I'm elated meaning I fear nothing right now. This is the perfect time for me to test out two things for future reference,” said Ethan as the colossal robot summoned his colossal swords with his electromagnetism. 

"Ethan! This is not the time to be delusional, we need to leave this place now!" said Tony frantically as he was worried about their situation. 

“Just calm down Tony. First I want to test out the quantum gloves and see if my hypothesis about them is correct.” 

The colossal robot launched his colossal swords at the two as it ran closer to them, they dodged the first one as it swooshed passed them then Ethan doubled tapped the wrist of his glove, reached out his glove hand, and touched the incoming second colossal sword. The glove glowed green as it activated and in a split second, the colossal sword was engulfed in quantum energy and then was teleported to the position where Ethan & Tony were previously as it crashed into the ground causing a tremor.

“HaHA! Well well, my hypothesis was correct again. Although this one was rather risky. Now it’s time to test out the second thing,” said Ethan as the colossal robot was launching a punch at Ethan & Tony.

"Ethan watch out!!"

Ethan quickly pulled out a black cube with blue circuit patterns on it from his jacket and dropped it on the ground. When it hit the ground, a bright light burst out of the cube and engulfed everything within range. When the light subsided, Tony opened his eyes and saw the colossal robot frozen in motion, trying to hit them. Tony himself couldn’t move, “Ethan, what going on? What is this place?” asked Tony as he noticed the world was a different colour and things seemed chaotic.

“Welcome Tony to the Virtual Cyber Realm. A place unknown to man but well known to AI, for humans, cannot see or access this place unless they have skills such as mine in technology. My black cube, Frigoré, it temporarily shatters the veil between the VCR and Reality allowing me to access this realm. I also programmed this black cube to halt the movement of any AI or programmed entities that are within range once it’s activated,” explained Ethan.

“That's cool and all Ethan, but I’m not an AI though so why are my movements halted?” asks Tony.

“Interesting, well that's complicated, just give me a moment,” said Ethan as he typed away through AR. Momentarily, Tony could move again and was still amazed as to what was happening. “I’m lost for words once again at what you can do with technology, when did you create this black cube?” asked Tony.

“Shortly after the Mavis incident. I didn’t want anything like that to happen again so I created this as a countermeasure,” said Ethan.

“I see, so your guilt motivated you to create this. I never knew that there was a whole cyber realm that existed where robots truly lived, it’s seems so busy though,” said Tony.

“Yeah it is, this is where data travels freely until it is summoned through networks to a device where it can be accessed. AI and other programmings can roam freely here which is why humans can’t easily access this place or see its inhabitants without my special contact lens because everything here is cybernetic. AI can’t be destroyed in the real world because you’re only attacking the robot which is the physical vessel of the AI, but in this realm, you can destroy the AI because here you can virtually attack it directly,” said Ethan as he pulled out another black cube but with green circuit patterns and he called it Corruptión. 

He dropped the black cube and when it landed on the ground, it lost its shape and turned into a gooey slime substance then it spread out like corruption as it seeped its way into the colossal robot and corrupted the AI programming within the robot. After a few moments, the slime seeped out of the colossal robot and went back to Ethan forming into a solid black cube again in the palm of his hand. Ethan studied the data that he got from Corruptión while walking away with Tony then he deactivated Frigoré. The veil went up again and the Virtual Cyber Realm disappeared from reality, the colossal robot fell forward to the ground like a corpse.

“You have a lot of explaining to do mister. First of all, how did you manage to teleport that big sword all the way there?” asked Tony.

“Remember when I said that the gloves are self-sustainable by converting photons into usable energy?”

“Yes."

“Well quantum energy is a type of photon or rather photons are a type of quantum energy, so I hypothesized that during the teleportation process in the quantum realm, the gloves absorbed quantum energy & quantum data in the quantum realm and stored it within the quantum processor and data plane of the glove then I would be able to use that quantum energy and data. I took a risk to test this hypothesis and it paid off, the stored quantum energy engulfed the object that I touched, and the quantum data in the quantum processor linked the quantum engulfed sword to the recent quantum rift we used and teleported it to our previous position,” explained Ethan.

“(Sighs) Wow. You are making me feel useless here buddy,” said Tony.

“Then become more useful bro,” said Ethan while he continued studying his data. 

“Easy for you to say, you’re not the one who has to keep up with a technological genius. What you reading anyways?” asked Tony.

“I’m studying the AI programming that was in that robot,” said Ethan

“Why?” asked Tony.

“By understanding the coding behind the AI, I may find a weakness to destroy the AI in this world, if necessary. Plus from reading this data, this coding seems very familiar to me for some reason, almost too familiar,” said Ethan.

“How so?” asked Tony.

“The coding and programming is very similar to Mavis’s, it's just more advanced now,” said Ethan.

“Mavis!? But didn’t you erase her?” asked Tony.

“No, she escaped through the VCR but I did track her digital footprint and found out she was last at Nano Industries. I hacked into their network there but found no trace of her so I assumed that Nano Industries erased her completely,” said Ethan.

“Then we should have nothing to worry about, it is probably a coincidence that the coding is similar, I mean we are in another world so there may be a technological genius like you here,” said Tony.

“That is a possibility, but an unlikely one. We’ll add it to the list of things that need to be investigated. For now, let's go find …wait what's this,” said Ethan as he walked towards an object that was heavily camouflaged.

“Is that a car?” asked Tony.

“Yes it is but it’s well hidden in plain sight, I wouldn’t have noticed it if it weren’t for our special contact lens,” said Ethan as they got closer to the object then one guy came out of the car with a gun specifically a M16 Assault Rifle.

“Don’t come any closer or I’ll shoot,” said the guy.

“Calm down Bradley, they’re not our enemies,” said the second guy as he came out of the car.

“The locals seem friendly,” said Tony sarcastically.

“A little too friendly,” said Ethan.

“What are you mumbling amongst yourselves?” shouted Bradley.

“Nothing that concerns you,” said Ethan.

Bradley aimed his gun at Ethan and shot him in his abdomen then Ethan fell to the ground.

“BRADLEY!!! HAVE YOU LOST IT!!! WHY’D YOU SHOOT HIM?!!” asks the 2nd guy.

“He pissed me o- Hrrrk!,” Tony swiftly grabbed Bradley tightly on his throat and gun then lifted him off his feet as Bradley was gasping for air but none came in.

“Ouch, that really stung man,” said Ethan as he was standing up and rubbing his stomach.

“Huh! How are you not bleeding? Do you have a bulletproof vest under that?” asked the 2nd guy.

“No, my clothes are made from fabrinium so they’re violence-proof,” said Ethan. “Violence-proof? Fabrinium, what’s that?” asks the 2nd guy.

"So they don’t have fabrinium in this world, not surprising since their tech is primitive, but they are advanced in their own way I guess."

“Tony, unhand him already, you’re going to kill the guy,” said Ethan then Tony loosened his grip and threw Bradley down.

“My apologies for my bodyguard, he is very impulsive sometimes but please don’t mind him,” said the 2nd guy while Bradley was coughing in the background.

“Don’t worry about it. So what’s your name sir?” asked Ethan.

“I was about to ask you that but I’ll introduce myself first. My name is Max Rogers, I am an ambassador of the Rebellion Crusaders,” said Max.

“Ooh, the Rebellion Crusaders, do you guys fight against the robots?” asked Ethan. 

“Huh? Wait a second, are you guys from another world?” asked Max.

"The fact he reacted like that so quickly tells me that he has encountered people from another world, so he must know something about the missing people"

“Yes we are, have you met other people like us?” asked Ethan.

“Yes. Several hours ago, people like you showed up out of nowhere and some of our people went missing. We don’t know how this all happened, but we’ve been trying our best to keep order within the shelters. All of the unknown people have been sent to the main shelter, but could you accompany us to the Rebellion Crusaders HQ? Oh and what’s your name young man?” asked Max.

“My name is Ethan, my partner’s name is Tony,” said Ethan.

“Ethan & Tony, nice to meet you two, although I can’t say the same for Bradley,” said Max.

“Likewise, now why are you taking us to the Rebellion Crusaders HQ?” asked Ethan. 

“While we were on our way back to our HQ, we saw your battle with the Colossomata,” said Max.

“Colossomata? Is that what you call those things?”

“Yes, each type of robot has a specific name. Now as I was saying, we saw your battle and how you defeated that Colossomata. I ask that you help us in our quest to defeat the robots, with you on our side, we'll have a higher chance of defeating Mavis,” said Max.

Ethan was shocked to hear the name Mavis as he was overwhelmed with PTSD, Max saw the look on Ethan’s face, “Are you okay, you look quite distressed?”

Ethan snapped out of his PTSD and calmed down, “Sorry about that, not a fan of that name, but who’s Mavis?”

“If you come with us to our HQ, we'll explain everything to you,” said Max.

"Mavis, this may be a coincidence but it’s one I can’t ignore, so it’s best I go with them to confirm it’s my Mavis."

“Fine, let's go,” said Ethan.

They all got in the car and Bradley drove them to the Rebellion Crusaders HQ. On the way there, “Why did you agree to this?” asked Tony through augmented text.

“There’s a chance that this may be my Mavis,” texted Ethan.

“It is just a coincidence, Ethan. The chances of it being your Mavis are very low. I mean how would she be able to get here from our world?” texted Tony.

“The same way Nano Industries can be found in our world and this world, there are way too many coincidences for me to just ignore. I just want to confirm it’s not my Mavis, If it’s not then I’ll just upgrade their tech and then we’ll leave to get back on the case,” texted Ethan.

“If it is Mavis, what will you do?” texted Tony.

“If it is Mavis, then I will do what I should’ve done a long time ago. I’ll erase her”
