“So you have heterochromia,” I say as I walk to the sink and wash my cup out. I look to see him a little in shock.
“Is it obvious that it's a contact?” he asked, fidgeting with his cup he didn't look in my direction and sounded almost ashamed.
“No, I just notice it cause me and my oldest kid uses it, he is 13 and also has heterochromia, because it is his body and his eyes I always give him a choice but it kinda became a habit for me” I chuckle as I dry the cup off and put it back on the counter. He looks at me and chuckles.
“You truly are something mr. august hoshi” I smile
“Call me Auggie please I want to be treated like a normal person just like you do” he smiles and nods finishing his coffee. He washes his mug, dries it, and puts it on the counter.
I smile and begin walking back to the living room.
“Well I’ll continue cleaning,” I said, before leaving and going to the living room to continue cleaning.
I begin by vacuuming the floor and couches. After I finished with that I continued by grabbing the duster and dusting off the tables and fireplace. I then spray and wipe down the coffee table and entertainment center.
I sigh in relief as I see the living room almost complete. I feel someone grab my shoulder, so out of instinct, I twist their hand behind their back only to see it was James. I gasped in shock and let him go.
“I am so so sorry,” I say bowing continuously, he stands up straight and shakes his head trying to assure me that it was ok.
