Why are you viewed as creepy when you are ugly but viewed as funny when you are handsome?

Because life is unfair and people judge based on looks.
If you are handsome it makes up for a lot of your social blunders. People think it's cute when handsome people do socially clumsy things, whereas an ugly man can do the exact same thing and be viewed as creepy
Looks and height make a man seem valuable and they can do no wrong. They also get the halo effect. An ugly loser short man is viewed as disgusting and his social blunders make him look bad, like he doesn't belong.
An ugly man is viewed as worthless, with low market value. People judge him for his personality and everything he does will be evaluated in a bad light. An ugly man can't do anything right. He's viewed as disgusting.
An ugly man can come off as creepy for doing nothing. An ugly man is often viewed as inferior. An ugly man is often seen as having low intelligence / low value / low social status, especially when he gets rejected / overlooked by people of higher status / or rejected by a woman. He is often hated / despised.
This shows that life is totally unfair but also we must have the mindset that we shouldn't care about this unfairness. It's good to be attached to nothing and to have no desire or attachment.
It's good to be like a rock that is unfazed by pain. It's good to be free from attachment and desire so we aren't dependent on anything in this world that will pass away or turn its back on us. Nothing in this world is permanent. Everything in this world can take a turn for the worse in the blink of an eye.
The only thing that really matters is what is in our control - our thoughts, our reason. The things that aren't in our control include our bodies, our reputation, what happens to us. These aren't our true selves, they're only material and temporary. They can be taken away in an instant through disease or injury. You must let go of these and focus on your true self: your thoughts and virtue, the only things within your real control.
Let go of things that aren't in your control, like your reputation, your body, your possessions, your happiness/sadness. You will live a happier life by detaching from materialism, desires for attention, and desires for external things that are only temporary.
True happiness and peace comes from the ability to let go. Nothing in this world is worth holding onto because it all can be lost, is impermanent. Detachment is virtue and strength. Detachment is like a muscle that needs to be worked on - it takes practice. But once you are detached you are liberated.
Your virtue, your state of mind, is the only thing you have full control over. You decide to be honest, you decide to be kind, you decide to be humble, you decide to do the right thing. Other people cannot affect you or affect your virtue.
In times of trouble, your virtue is your only true possession, your only true protection, your own strength. When all else fails, you will still have your virtue. Keep your virtue strong and pure, and nothing can ever truly hurt you in a way that matters.
