The team had been on high alert since they found out about the mole, and tensions were running high. Everyone was suspicious of each other, and trust was dwindling. The team felt like they won a losing battle.

Ethan had told Nico about the conversation he overheard between The leader and Eden and asked Nico to secretly do some research on it. Nico found out that Eden didn't ever go to figure out what she actually was, she already knew. She actually went to see if working for the government was the right thing to do instead of helping her friends.

One day, they received a message from the mole themselves. They agreed to meet in a secluded location, and the team jumped at the chance to confront their betrayer. They arrived at the meeting spot, a deserted alleyway, and waited for the mole to arrive.

When they finally showed up, the team was shocked. It was one of their own – Maya's best friend, who they had all grown to trust over the years. She looked at them with tears in her eyes and told them that she had no choice. 

“I had to choose what was best for me and my family and if that were the government I wouldn't have come back.” She explained sobbing.

The team was heartbroken. They had grown to care for their friend, and the idea of her being forced to betray them was almost too much to bear. But they also knew they couldn't let her go unpunished. They tied her up and called the police to come and pick her up.

As they walked away from the scene, the team was in shock. They had lost a friend, and they didn't know if they would ever be able to trust each other again. But they also knew that they had to keep fighting. They couldn't let their friend's betrayal be in vain.
