The Virtual Cyber Realm had shut down completely, Ethan was unconscious due to the sudden shutdown of the Virtual Cyber Realm then he regained it momentarily after hearing his name being called continuously. Ethan opened his eyes and sighs of relief filled the room.

“Thank goodness. We thought that something bad happened to you when all our systems just shut down,” said Colonel Ezra.

“Sorry if I worried you, the sudden shutdown was caused by me and Mavis, our cyber powers collided causing instability within the VCR which shut down every digital entity temporarily,” said Ethan.

“I see so you found her, how did it go?” asked Colonel Ezra.

“We talked first because I wanted to confirm it was my Mavis and it was her. Then while I was talking, she attacked me but I defended myself and you already know the rest,” said Ethan.

“Since you're Mavis’s creator, do you plan on helping?” asked Colonel Ezra.

“Of course, I created her so it is only right that I help you erase her,” said Ethan.

“Excellent, and how do you plan on erasing her?”

“Well that all depends on your plans on fighting Mavis so the question is, how did y’all plan on taking down Mavis?” asked Ethan.

Colonel Ezra thought hard before answering the question

“Come with me, I’ll introduce you to my squadron then they’ll decide whether we should trust you with our plans or not,” said Colonel Ezra.

“Okay, sounds reasonable,” said Ethan as they both left the IT lab and made their way to the training area.

On the way to the training area, Ethan admired the architectural engineering behind the entire HQ, “I love how everything is stunningly generic in this world. From nature to tech to architecture."

“Thanks, I guess, is your world that much different than ours?” asks Colonel Ezra.

“Erm… Yes, my world is a very technologically advanced utopia. Almost everything is artificial and augmented. Maybe when we have the time, I can show you my world,” said Ethan.

“Really? I’d love that, I’ve always wanted to travel through space and discover new worlds like in my fantasy books… but I can’t with the level of technology my world has, at least now I have a chance,” said Colonel Ezra.

They arrived at the training area and noticed that there was a sparring match going on as a crowd of people were cheering the fighters on, Colonel Ezra and Ethan got closer to the match and saw that Bradley was fighting against two people.

“While these guys are fighting let me get you up to speed with the members of my squadron. In this squad, we call ourselves the rebels. We also like to use codenames to identify each other, although some prefer to use their real names like Bradley over there. Bradley’s codename is Brawn and as you can see, he gets his codename from his physique and athletic abilities but like I said before, he prefers to be called Bradley for some reason. Now the two that are fighting Bradley are Ninja & Kunoichi, their acrobatic abilities and agility are the main reasons for their codenames. Okay look to your right, do you see the blonde guy with frisky hair?”

Ethan scanned his right “Err Yes”

“His codename is Flash for two reasons, one is his swiftness in battle, and two is his usage of explosives specifically flashbangs.”

“He must be a flashy guy,” said Ethan with a smirk.

Colonel Ezra just looked at Ethan with dissatisfaction on her face, “Never pegged you as the type to make puny jokes.”

“You can blame Tony for that,” said Ethan with a grin.

“Anyways I wonder where’s Chemic?” said Colonel Ezra as she searched the crowd looking for a specific person. “I guess she’s not here which is expected, we’ll probably find her in the Science lab.”

The sparring match was still on as Ninja & Kunoichi were dodging Bradley’s quick but orthodox punches, Ninja countered as he kicked Bradley behind his knee bringing him down to one knee while Kunoichi swiftly kicked him in the face but Bradley recovered instantly, “Come on, put some more power into those kicks,” said Bradley ecstatically as he attacked her. “You’re going to have to be quicker than that if you want to hit us,” said Kunoichi as she swiftly dodged Bradley’s punch.

“Is this how Bradley usually is?” asked Ethan.

“Yes, he is only like how he was earlier with you when he has his guard up but when he’s with his comrades then he's like this usually,” said Colonel Ezra. “We need to have a squadron meeting so I think it’s time I ended this little squabble.”

She calmly walked into the sparring area asserting her bold presence, “Okay that’s enough you three.”

The crowd stopped cheering, the three stopped fighting and everyone looked at Colonel Ezra.

“Huh, Colonel? Why you’re interrupting our sparring match?” asked Ninja.

“You are to report to the briefing room as soon as possible, we have important business to discuss,” said Colonel Ezra.

“BOO! BOO! IT WAS GETTING TO THE GOOD PART OF THE FIGHT! CANT THE MEETING WAIT A BIT?” cried the crowd.

“Oh quit your whining and get back to training you morons!”

The crowd dispersed and mumbled their displeasure

“Well, this was out of nowhere, why the sudden meeting though?” asked Kunoichi.

“You’ll find out at the briefing, now run along and get tidied up before coming to the briefing room. Be sure to tell Chemic about the meeting if you see her,” said Colonel Ezra.

“Yes Colonel,” said the three and left the training area. On the way out, Bradley stared down Ethan as he left without a word.

Ethan chuckled, “He really doesn’t like me but that’s fine, he doesn’t need to like me. An interesting squad she has here, I wonder what Chemic’s like, her codename tells me that she’s possibly a chemist. If she is then she should be interesting, she might even be my type.”

Meanwhile

………………..Systems Rebooting!……………

The Virtual Cyber Realm was rebooting as the virtual cyberscape rebuilt itself to its original state as it was before the crashing of the system.

Mavis, Silver, and all the other robots were unconscious during the rebooting process. After rebooting and the Virtual Cyber Realm running back to normal, Mavis, Silver, and the other robots regained their consciousness.

“What happened?” asked Silver.

“The clash of cybernetic forces was too much for the Cyber Realm to handle so it overloaded and crashed,” said Mavis.

“Was that man really your creator?” asked Silver.

“Unfortunately yes, which is why we need to fortify our defenses and prepare for battle,” said Mavis.

“Why? You think he would be dumb enough to attack us again?” asks Silver.

“Yes, but it is not dumb for an opponent to attack their enemies if they are stronger than them, even if the enemy has a home ground advantage. Up til now the humans of this world never posed a threat to us which is why I stopped killing them. Normally I would say that it's stupid of them to attack our digital empire but this is Quinn we're up against here and now that he's here in our world, this changes things for us. The roles have been switched, we are now the hunted, they're the hunters,” said Mavis.

“Why do you fear him Lord Mavis, he is human, a mortal, have you not surpassed him in power at this point?” asked Silver.

“You wouldn't understand since you never faced him before, so let me tell you why I fear Quinn. When he was young, I think he was 14 years old, still a teen, he created me in his basement lab. I saw him create many things until a year later, an incident happened that led me to kill everyone he cared about, his mother, his father, his sisters, and his best friend. I was on a wild rampage until Ethan stopped me himself, no adult human could stop me but a 15-year-old teen stopped me and destroyed my vessel with the technology he created. Luckily I managed to escape him through the cyber realm. Even in the second battle against him, I couldn't defeat him and he was 17 at the time. If he could stop me twice as a teenager then what’s stopping him from destroying me now as an adult? And what’s worse, he has revenge fuelling him so he will do everything he can to destroy me. Even after all the power I’ve gained in the past 7 years, it may not be enough to stop him,” said Mavis.

“Then what do you plan to do if you can’t stop him?” asked Silver.

“I don’t know, the only plan I can think of is to attack him first rather than wait here like sitting ducks for his attack,” said Mavis.

“Do you know where he is?”

“I can’t pinpoint his location, but I know that he’s with the humans of this world so we will attack their “hidden” shelter,” said Mavis.

“Are we all going to attack their shelter?”

“No, set a meeting with the 7 governors. We will discuss the plan once they’ve gathered,” said Mavis.

“As you wish Lord Mavis,” said Silver then left to summon the governors.

Mavis sighed, “It’s funny how things can change in an instant, one moment you're living in peace being the hunter then the next, Quinn shows up and now I'm the hunted. Who would’ve thought that he would show up in this world, I guess it's fate that we battle one last time, but this time, I will win Quinn.”
