Yna's first week of training, she managed to learn almost everything from Amelia. She has written all the essential details and flows of the job in her notebook so she would get everything. She reviewed all the emails after the 8th secretary left to the current emails she received. She felt overwhelmed to see how hectic and messy the schedules were. The former secretary should have set up reminders on the calendar plans of Mr. Hugo's meeting schedules. Thanks to her previous employer and experience, she organized all the programs and categorized all emails according to clients and inquiries. She requested meeting schedules in and outside of the company. She bought a planner notebook to remind herself of Mr. Hugo's appointment as she needs to update him with all client requests, including the submitted portfolios. She managed to learn of the progress from Amelia Anders. 

"Since this is now your second week, you will now be working one-on-one with Hugo from now on and onwards." Amelia pointed out. 

"Yes, Ms. Amelia." Yna cautiously agreed. 

"Did you bring your son today?" Amelia asked while sitting on her chair, leaning, and holding a folder. She's looking at Yna, who is standing in front of her. 

"Yes, Ms. Amelia. He's sleeping at the moment." Yna said. 

"Okay, have you managed to find a babysitter for your son?" 

"Yes, but only at the time that he is available. He's a college student and my neighbor at the building apartment." Yna explained. 

"I see, very well. I believe your son does not throw tantrums." Amelia added. 

"Yes, he's well-behaved as long as he has something to play on his hands before his babysitter comes and picks him up without Mr. Hugo in the office," Yna explained as she held her notebook planner. 

"That's good, then. Anyway, if you need anything, you can send me a chat via OffChats. For any scheduled meetings for Hugo, let him know first thing in the morning. He will arrive soon, so good luck Ms. Yna," Amelia wished her luck as she smiled. But at the back of her mind, she hoped that Yna would not back out. Her intuition says that Yna has a strong personality. However, she has naughty plans for his brother that Hugo will never like. She smirked and watched Yna leave the office. 

Hugo arrived at his office on time. Yna gave herself 5 minutes to prepare before knocking on Hugo's office. She was a little nervous but needed to do her job well. She adjusted Adan's stroller below her desk. Adan was soundly asleep due to the air-conditioned. She then went to Hugo's office and knocked three times before entering. 

"Good morning, Sir Hugo. I am here to relay your schedule for the day." Yna greeted in a soft tone.

Hugo turned on his laptop without looking at her.

"What's my schedule for the day?" Hugo asked as he typed something on his laptop as he listened. 

Yna elaborated on his agenda, "You have an 11 am meeting with Mr. Sam Brown via OffChat. I set up the meeting for you and him with the invitation for the meeting. Then, at 1:30 pm, you have a lunch meeting with Ms. Rosie Mendez at the La Carte Cuisine. She requested you to bring Ms. Amelia with you to discuss the cost of the advertising. Lastly, Mr. Kim has canceled his appointment due to a family emergency and would like to set the meeting for early next week, Tuesday, at 10 am, in the board room meeting." 

"And that's your schedule for the day, Sir Hugo," Yna ended as she breathed smoothly. 

Hugo looked at her. He looked pleased with how Yna delivered the schedule without stuttering like his previous secretary, who was intimidated by his strictness and personality. 

"Very well, email Mr. Kim that Tuesday, 10 am is fine with me. Also, make sure to send the contracts to Mr. Kim," Hugo instructed. 

"Yes, Sir. Is there anything else you would like to add?" Yna asked as she held her pen and the notebook. Hugo noticed how diligent she was. 

"Nothing, just bring me a black coffee without sugar." Hugo requested. 

"Okay, Sir," Yna said and left the office. 

She came out feeling out of breath as she deeply breathed and sighed, placing the notebook on her chest. Mr. Hugo's appearance is truly intimidating, which makes her legs tense. She tried to breathe slowly to calm her tension. She returned to her desk and checked Adan before making the black coffee. Adan was still soundly asleep. 

She went to the staff kitchen to make the coffee, and no one was around then.

She went back to deliver the black coffee to Mr. Hugo's office. He was on the phone when she gently placed the cup of coffee. She left the room quietly while Hugo just looked at her. 

She sat at her desk feeling nervous, yet all the tension disappeared when she looked at her son sleeping. She starts working on the emails [incoming and outgoing]. She emailed Mr. Kim regarding rescheduling their meeting when Hugo came out of the office without saying a word but only glanced at her as she said, "See you later, Sir Hugo." 

It was perfect timing when Adan woke up. She fed him with a bottle of milk and a soft shortbread. Most of the staff came out for lunch break but hesitated to ask her for lunch. She understood why, as it was Mr. Hugo's instruction regarding her job. She took her lunch box and enjoyed the meal together with her son. None of the staff noticed that she had a child. Maybe they knew about it from Ms. Amelia, but Yna will do her job correctly.  

Daniel arrived at 2:00 pm in the company building, and Mr. Hugo was still out. 

"Hi, Daniel." Yna greeted him with a smile. Daniel smiled back.

"Hey, Adan, are you ready to go home with me?" Daniel said as he carried him. Adan chuckled while Daniel felt like a big brother to him. 

"Thank you, Daniel. I'll be home at 6:30 pm and stay for dinner." Yna suggested. 

"Sure, I'll go now before your boss comes back," Daniel said as they waved goodbye to Yna, smiling.

She looked around just in case anyone had seen them. She felt at ease and went back to her work.
