Today is the second phase of my training. 

You know what? I’m trying so hard to change back to human form but it has been three days already. 

It. Has. Been. Three. Days since I stay unmoved while facing my master. 

[Uh, Master? Are you sure I can turn back to a human form?]

[Of course, it is! Are you trying to say that you don’t trust your master here?]

[Uh... It’s not like that…]

Yes, I don’t even trust you.

I don’t even remember signing up to be a mere stone. Although I don’t feel any hunger or fatigue, not being able to move like a normal two-legged creature feels so different. Get me out of here!

Does a human body has always been that warm? What kind of warm? The warmth during summer? The warmth when I accidentally touched a hot pan? The warmth when I’m bathing in the onsen?

What kind of warmth… I can’t seem to remember it. When I try to remember the warmth of my own body, just like my master says, my mind only wanders to the coldness when I fell down to the depth of darkness. Do I still upset, knowing that I am already dead in my own world?

Ah… When it is cold outside, I love to spend time alone in my room. Watching anime from my laptop, while bundling myself with a blanket. Ah… That’s so nice. It is the best feeling ever. I hope I could do it again.

“Ah… ah….” My voice is coming back!

I move my precious two hands and feet. I’m stretching my body. It feels so good after three days of not moving! The warmth of the blanket is the best kind of warmth after all!
