“I am fucked,” was the first thing that came to my mind. According to them, the Uttara kingdom is ruled by an evil tyrant, and blah blah the usual fantasy setting. But it looks like we and some tribe called the Tamas are the only ones who can use supernatural abilities

“Oh, I have not yet introduced ourselves. I am the chief minister, Sarang. This is his highness Harshad, the king and beside him is his queen, her highness Nikita.” He said pointing at the king and queen and bowing down. When he looked back at us he made a confused expression. The king laughed.

“It is ok minister. They are the heroes that are going to save the kingdom, there is no need for them to bow down to me.” The king said. So that’s what it was about, for a moment I forgot about that since there are no kings in the present time. “I permit them to not bow down to me, it’s the sign of mutual respect.”

It looked like we were in a castle, which was obvious. We then reached another room where all of us took a seat.

“Now heroes, introduce yourselves and can you tell me what kind of abilities you have got?” The king asked.

“My name is Abhijit.” One of the boys stood up, he was a handsome tall man. “My age is 16, I have got the [Hero] job. It says that my job is to act as the leader of the party.”

“Oh-ho, we were informed that in a ‘party’ there will be different roles assigned, I guess you are the leader of the party.” The chief minister said in delight.

“Thank you, I will do my best to protect the kingdom.” He said bowing down. Look at him, he looks like the perfect main character of a fantasy novel. And look at the girls and the maids all looking at him with such an obvious look, yep definitely the protagonist.
