The day began, and the sound of raindrops echoed on the rooftops.
Water rushed down the alleys, finding its way toward the gutters. The rhythm of the rain created a soothing melody, washing away the remnants of the past and embracing the purity of the present.
The world outside seemed to be cleansing itself, and she stood on the balcony, letting the raindrops wash over her, feeling a sense of renewal with each droplet that touched her skin.
The fragrance filled the air, and Lisan inhaled it eagerly, relishing in the atmosphere.
She smiled gently as if offering a sweet greeting to the surrounding ambiance. However, a sudden cough escaped her lips, as if she remembered a dormant sensitivity. "Ah, I have a cold allergy. I always react to beautiful weather," she exclaimed with a touch of amusement. "Oh, my sensitive body." She then made her way to the bathroom, preparing to indulge in a soothing bath.
Like any other autumn day, the rain adorned the atmosphere, accompanied by the falling yellow leaves from the trees. Some people delighted in the touch of raindrops, relishing the moment, while others hurriedly scurried from one place to another, seeking shelter.
As the atmosphere gently changes, the atmosphere in Lisan's clinic changes as well. She enjoys her work alongside Reem and Kareem. She also relishes her meetings with her friends.
It's as if life blossoms in the autumn season.
Perhaps it's just emotions, tranquil feelings that sweep through the air and fill the surroundings.
After a few days, Lujain began preparing for an exhibition of her paintings inside the college.
Only a few days remained until the exhibition.
Lujain is excited about the upcoming exhibition, away from the work atmosphere. In a small café next to the college, she sits with a cup of coffee in her hand, observing the ambiance with gentleness.
Students are leaving the college, some spreading love in the surroundings, while others display signs of anger. Some engage in lively conversations, and paths intersect between different groups. And some seem indifferent to it all, simply absorbed in the music and the rhythm of their footsteps along the way.
Lujain sits calmly, waiting. At times, she checks the time, and at other times, she observes her surroundings.
After a short while, a car parks in front of the café. On the opposite side, Bibars stands with someone in front of the college. Before bidding farewell to the man he is with, Bibars catches a glimpse of Lisan entering the café.
He speaks, saying, "Lamin, how about a cup of coffee?"
Astonished, Lamin replies, "Didn't you just say you were busy?"
Bibars insists, "Come on, let's enjoy a cup of coffee together. I suddenly feel thirsty."
Lisan entered the café, scanning in search of Lujain, who, in turn, waved to her.
Lisan sat next to Lujain and called the waiter, saying, "A cup of tea, please."
Lujain smiled and said, "Tea addiction, huh?"
Lisan replied with a smile, "Yes, yes."
With that smile, Lisan turned her face towards the entrance and noticed Bibars and Lamin entering together.
She quickly turned back to Lujain and said, "What is he doing here?"
Lujain asked, "Who?" as Lisan gestured with her eyes toward the entrance.
Lujain replied, "Oh, Bibars. He's a professor at the college, don't you know?"
Lisan exclaimed, "Really? How can he be a professor when he doesn't know how to explain things properly?"
The waiter then arrived and said, "Here you go, madam." Lisan thanked him.
The waiter approached Bibars, saying, "Hello, sir. The only vacant seat available is next to those two ladies over there," as he pointed to where Lisan and Lujain were sitting.
Bibars replied, "Ah, alright. Thank you."
The two headed towards Lisan and Lujain, with Bibars wearing a gentle smile on his face.
They sat together as if Bibars hadn't noticed them.
Until Lujain spoke up, saying, "Hello, Bibars. It's been a while since we last met."
Bibars turned towards Lujain and replied, "Hey, yeah, it's been a long time."
Lujain then told Lisan, "This is Bibars."
Lujain, on the verge of bursting into laughter, whispered to Lisan, "Learn to be late again."
Lisan then calmly turned to Bibars and greeted him with a wave, saying, "Hey."
Bibars smiled gently and greeted Lisan, "Hello, Lisan. You disappeared."
She smiled and said, "I think work is the reason." Then Lisan noticed Lamin, the person with Bibars, seemingly trying to remember.
Both of them were trying to recall: "Where... where have I seen you?"
They finally remembered. Lisan said, "Lamin... it's you, Lamin, right?"
Lamin replied, "Lisan." Then he stood up, his face turning red as if he was embarrassed by their encounter.
Lisan sarcastically remarked, "Stop it, Mr. Second Place."
Lamin turned calmly and said, "We have grown up now... Haven't you forgotten yet?"
As Lisan laughs, Lamin stands there shyly from his encounter with Lisan.
Meanwhile, Bibars and Lujain quietly observe the scene.
Lujain wonders about the person standing in front of her, and Bibars wonders about the relationship that connects them.
"I loved someone once, and then what?
I loved and then I hated love.
I mean, I hated to love, or maybe I was afraid to love, or maybe I just didn't dare to love because I wouldn't be able to trust the one I love." Lisan
Lisan is a dentist who leads a beautiful life with her friends who are trying to make her fall in love.
However, Lisan has a dark spot in her past.
She has not shared it even with her closest childhood friends.
Will Bibars be the cure? Or will he make her open a new chapter in her life for him?
